Whats Blooming part 4

Beautiful trumpet lily, Holly! Aren't they awesome?
I have lots of tomatoes, too, but none red yet, and I haven't seen a red dragonfly around here. I have a lot of dragonflies because of the pond. Many of them have clear wings with a bar on the wing.
Thanks Sally. I'm glad I came up with the 'natural bouquet' thing, I think it describes what I seem to go for. Here's another one of the 'striped tiger' abutilon. I really love this plant.

Can't remember if I posted this yet. After 3 years I finally have the look I was going for with the mixture of African Queen, Golden King trumpets and the smoke trees. You can't see it in this photo, but there are also double orange daylilies to the left of the smoke trees. I'm just wishing that these trees stayed more purple during the season. Their new leaves are more purple than this.

Pixy, that smoke tree with lilies is gorgeous, and also the stripey abutilon. Very fun! How goes the straw feeding? That must keep you pretty busy.

I bought this daylily off a sale table, and it has no tag. Anybody have a clue what it might be, and how tall the plant might get?

Mine might be Pandora's Box. Anyway, it's pretty and it looks like several of this general type get about 20 inches tall.

Such pretty daylilies! I think they are so cheerful. And I am totally jealous of your frog, Tills. I've been trying to introduce them to my yard for 3 years. I hear them on the other side of the road, so I know we have them nearby.

You know, I wonder if smoke trees are 'male and female'? Some of mine bloom, some do not.

tills I love that last one you posted... do you know the name of it?

Hi everybody beautiful photos! I can't talk cause I am with my father on his last days. Though on my way through the garden my one morning home I got this rose shot.

So sorry to hear that Sofer, I just went through that with my mom. It is hard, but I do think the garden helps.

Sofer, I'm so sorry about your father. That is so very hard. I am glad you can be with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Laurie, I just found out about your mum from Tills yesterday. My heart is with you. I know that must be a hard one for you. Good to 'see' you on DG.

Carole (murmur) just lost her husband as well.

Steve - I'm so sorry that your father is ill. I'm sure it's a great comfort to him and to your mother that you are able to be there. I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Burwash Weald, United Kingdom(Zone 9b)

Thank you Pix - I completely forgot to let you know that I had sent over heuchera's through Tils for you - glad she has served as the good guardian to get them passed on through the DG express. Many thanks to all involved. And how is Andrew doing, still limited to using a straw?

And thanks to Oneangl too -

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

It actually has worked out well. I will be his primary caretaker for his final days. He and I are having good times walking through this and I am anxious to get him home to have the final days. Thanks for your prayers. I am anxious for him to meet his Lord and release from the moments of dying. Love Steve

Whidbey Island, WA(Zone 7a)

And my sympathy to you as well, Steve - I just lost my Steve last week, nine days ago (at 12:31a.m. it will be 10 days). It hurts beyond description to lose someone you love.

Pix. I have a creek that runs thru the property, I never know when they will pop up, and scare the bejeezus out of you or go to turn the faucet on and have a tiny tree frog setting on it. Plus I border the Wetlands. Wish I could send you some, have some tiny snakes too. They are fun to play with.

Steve, So Sad to hear. And very Glad you are with him during this, I wish I was with mine then. {{{{Hugs}}}}

Anjil1, I don't know its name, Was hoping Annie (Poochella) would pop up and tell me.

Poochella, Where are you..................

Great pics Sherie.
