Seed< I don't know about Durham or a little one. Must have been someone else dear.
Best/Worse &What did I learnt today/Chat with Friends #50
That was Dragonfly53...(Terri)...who posted that she was going to Durham..and to have her GD stay over the weekend..
Bev is Dragonfly62
Just finished making potato salad and veggie dip for tomorrow.
Came here for a break and a coffee.
Anticipation................ :)
Thanks Starzz for clearing that up. Save me some potatoe salad!!! LOL Scotty doesn't like it. Hugs BEV
Afternoon dear friends. Potato salad? I'm on my way. How far is Newcastle from Ingersol? It has been an unusal day in the south. Lightning, no rain, no thunder, dreary, humid and overall don't very encouraging to do anything but loaf!!
Waited until the last minute to buy groceries; an interesting and educational shopping trip it turned out to be. In short, thought it might have been the gathering of the" fruitcakes".
Oh the joys of grandchildren in the younger stages!! My 3 year old has informed me she is a "destruction addict" Where do they get such ideas? The 5 year old has just had her ears pierced and I was informed last night about the proper earring I should be wearing. "Grandma, you know they have to be gold!!" Such joy, such laughter!!!
Betty, I do hope all goes well with the test. You will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers!
For all my friends this side of the border, a very happy, wonderful safe 4th and for those across the border, well it is still July 4th there too-just not celebrated like we do. So you have a happy, wonderful ,safe day whatever you do.
And from me too...Happy 4th to all of you!
Be safe, be happy, and be well.
Love
Sharon
Thought I'd drop in before heading for bed..had test done this afternoon and then headed to Suzanne's to do the floor..this past spring I helped them do a bedroom at their home and one at their daughters so got elected again for their living room, Suzanne is so kind to me how could I not go..had Lenny pick up my saw and equipment this aft. so he was ready for my visit..we managed to get 3/4 done..I have appt. again tomorrow at the hospital at 11:15, probably there for an hour or so then will drop in and finish it..they have new furniture coming next week so it will all be done..
Should have booked Tuesday off for the other tests which will happen at 1:00pm but thought I'd do it tomorrow when Paul's not in..lol..he'll have a fit, 2 days this week and 1 day next week and then Wedn. aft. Thursday and Friday off...
I'm going to take a cab into Midland tomorrow morning and drop of my car so that the bumper can be repaired and painted...guy promised me if I did bring it in he'd have it done by the time I was ready to come home early aft.- do need the car for Sat. painting in Barrie...
Well, I'm falling asleep as I sit here, so I'd better head off to bed..another long day tomorrow and Saturday..lordy, need to be rested for next week..lol..
Happy 4th of July everyone...just off to drop off my vehicle for paint repair...
Sunshine day here...grass is cut, house clean, everything is well with the world..lol
Not quite, have some yukkies to drink..didn't appreciate the vile I had last night and yet another today...the tests I'm sure are worse than the cures...
Talk later..
Morning Betty,
Will be thinking of you today....and probaly your ears will be burning..as Gilli and I will be talking about you too.. :)
Happy Fourth of July to all our American friends.
The sun is going to shine today. Going to make choc chip cookies for the children a bit later.
Happy 4th to everyone. Hope you all have a good day. Thinking of you Betty
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY ALL
betty, wishing you good thoughts today for you testing
carol, have a wonderful visit.
Happy 4th everyone. I am going out to pick slugs off of hostas before I don't have any left. HUGS BEV
Happy 4rh everyone!! Be safe but enjoy. Betty thinking of you today and as you go through all your test.
Starzz, this child would like some chocolate chip cookies, please ma'am. :-)
Greetings and Happy 4th to everyone. Aaaaahhhhhhh......a holiday. We don't have any plans for today other than staying home and doing pretty much the same things that we do all other days. Something about it being a holiday makes me want to just rest alot. ha-ha Won't take much talking me into just being a slug today.
I have a short list of things to do inside and then if the rain has held off I will head outside and look over the beds. One of my tomato plants has a very small tomato on it. That is so exciting for me. I have about six other plants of a different type and I hope that they will start producing soon too. They are the only veggies that I have this year.
Well, washer just stopped, off to tend to laundry and then begin my list for the day. I hope that everyone will have a good day.
Betty, please let us know the results as you hear them.
Ruby
Morning, everyone seems up and at it..hope you all enjoy the day and that it's a sunshine day...got my car into the body shop that's a plus, now sitting waiting for 11:00 to head out again..thank goodness for June, she's got wheels, could have brought the car in another week but as I was off today thought it wouldn't hurt to do it, less confusion for another day...
Gardens are so pretty this morning, nothing like sunshine and flowers to make you smile...just organized all the materials needed for my class tomorrow, see the Canadian Tire has Adironkak chair tables on sale, must pick one up this aft...few things to do on my way home, get insurance coverage for my trip to USA, need a few groceries and then by the time Suzanne gets home around 4:00 I'll drop in and we'll finish her living room floor...it's going well..what a difference from old rugs..might have to paint her a linoleum rug now to go under her dining room table...told her and Lenny if I ever give up working here with Paul that I just might take up home renovations..lol..
Not much planned, just waiting for the clock to tick 11 - only 10 minutes to hospital..have to also pick up viles of meds to take before Tuesday for the other tests...as for results, they don't come quickly..2 or 3 weeks probably..
Carol, can just see you working away getting everything done so you can sit and enjoy Gilli's visit..you'll love her, she and Keith are such adorable young people!
Hi poppin give to give an update..
My daughter phoned and said they would drop by today..so I said come for lunch and meet Gilliian and children. My grandaughter is around Sonoras age..then I decided to invite the neighbours..the one built the playhouse years ago..so it will be a party!
Unfortunatley..the choc chip cookies are a little burned on the bottom..oh well..
Marion do you like them well done LOL

Marion..everyone liked the cookies well done..thay are all gone! LOL
We had a great time..Gilli her Dad and her 3 children arrived at noon and left at 9pm..happy happy time was had by all. Keith her hubby was not here..he is at the conference in Orilla. Gilli will pick him up there tomorrow.
I'll post pics in the morning..time for me to say good night. Lots of stories to tell.
Betty..you are so right..a very sweet young woman. Her Dad had lots of interesting stories to tell.
Loved the children..very well behaved.
Hope you all had a happy 4th of July.
Cheers,
Carol
Well maybe next batch! Glad you had such a fun enjoyable day.
Glad you enjoyed Carol, certainly all are just as sweet as can be..Keith is as well...
Had my tests done, got to Suzanne's at 4:30 and just got home..living room floor all done, but now with extra wood left over they would like the hallway done..with all the dust from cutting they'd rather do it now than make another mess..so, volunteered to try and go back tomorrow after my classes..
I'm very, very tired, would the word exhausted ring a bell..lol..I warned them, I work steady, don't like complaining etc. and they were cute, kept nagging each other when I'd tell them what to do next..Lenny likes cutting corners..I wouldn't let him...
So off to bed I go, will talk tomorrow at some point..class from 8:30 - 5:00 and then I'll be doing the floor from 6:00 to maybe 9:30 then homeward bound...
May I get on the list?
Hi guys, my computer crashed and at my friend's 4th of July party today, we just took our tower to her son and he had a real hard time getting the problems fixed, it had like several viruses and worms and spy ware that would not let you uninstall it.
Had to get on for a minute at this late hour to say Happy 4th while it still is.
Good news about tests B.
It's a sunshine morning, up early and at it..must leave in an hour so getting all my supplies together, by tomorrow I'll have a beautiful set sitting on my front lawn..just what I need right?
I'm tired but find painting relaxing so I know I'll enjoy my day then off again, yep, you guess it, got to do a 20' x 42" hallway then I'm done..
do hope you all enjoyed your day yesterday and continue with the weekend festivities..here's hoping included in them is rest and gardening...lol
Marion, have your name down, you are next...lol
Liz, bet you are flying high right now..
Carol, did you take photo's for us to enjoy?

As I mentioned I decided to invite my neighbours, my daughter and her hubby their youngest Dana ..10 years old..and my son Mike.
This is the group as I walked through into the Secret garden. The weather was perfect for lunch in the garden.
Sandwiches, veggies and dip, cheese and crackers, and the well done choc chip cookies..nice and simple.
Had to key on just prior to leaving..OMG what lovely photo's and I'm sure Gilli and family are so appreciative of all your efforts in making her visit special...
A true July 4th picnic celebration with friends...how very special ...
Will come back tonight to look at the photo's again and enjoy the day you both had...
