Mom, dont go to that day lily site! I already ordered for you! lol! (one of each bulb offered! )

Rochester, WA(Zone 7b)

Ok. I may look but I won't order.

Mom

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

lol, ya... you wont need any of them when i'm done! lol! I'm runnin out of room here...will need to plant in your yard now! lol!

Gate (Rochester), WA(Zone 7b)

Good job on the explanation lil sis.

Tilly, that might be too far to drive & help with your (my^_^) bulbs. Then pick up the peachicks, get them home & settled in all in the same day.

How soon do they need to be split? Sept? Oct? Or now? I am really in Rochester

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Pea. No way will my DH let me help pick out any kind of animal, he knows I will fall in love and bring them home and more mouths to feed LOL But someday I want a pygmy goat. thats another hurdle to jump.
I sold my horse 7 years ago, lost my Nubian goat 10yrs ago to a brain tumor. AND HE SAYS NO MORE. LOL Have 4 kitty's and 2 dogs and 2 Cockatiels THAT IS ENOUGH. Okay now I have my plants, and he has to water LOL takes more time to water than feed the critters, LOL his choice. I think its funny.

Any time after blooming or before, daylilies are not hard to move, I will have some Dahlias too, the Daylilies are from Annie and the Dal's are from Carla and I know they would to share thats what we do.
But you do know you have to come help, and bring the pots.

Thanks Tilly, that's exactly what I was offering. Will have to wait a bit though. I need to work on my animals a bit. Would be a day trip up to Poulsbo - opposed to couple of hours - to help out if you want me too. I don't mind. It's fun 'work', just like doing most things for my animals / pets. Keeps me busy and it's a great feeling once the job is done - much like mom's yard. As you can probably tell, I am not afraid of hard work! I have found, if I put my mind to it, I CAN DO ANYTHING I WANT - just may take me longer. lol

Shame you can't have more animals......maybe someday, huh? Sorry to hear about your goat. I have thought about getting a goat over the years. Maybe someday....... now is not a good time, no real 'fenced' yard.......oh well, if meant to be, it will. Bet it broke your heart to sell your horse!

I am serious. Let me know if / when you want me. I will be there if I can. I work during the week (8:30 - 5, always leave late tho). Up late again tonight - took the teens to the movies & now eating really late dinner?!? Boy, am I going to feel this tomorrow! lol

tee hee... um... I have bunches of pots here I can ship to you cheryl ^_^

will quart size work?! lol!

and who says hard work isnt good for you? all that air and sunshine, not to mention the enorphins from diggin in the garden soil? If it werent for gardening, I would have been a basket case long ago :o) now I'm just slightly nutty! lol!

Ooh, Which one is that? I like!!

What's hard work that isn't?? Want to 'dig' in some fowl poop when I go to clean up this fall? Same endorphins??? I tend to use a shovel for this though, but if you want to dig.......lol

Rochester, WA(Zone 7b)

Yeah, that is beautiful.

Okay Pea, you are on, just have to find the right time frame. you work week days and I work weekends now that is a problem. But if we work it right we can do this. I hope to be taking the first week of Sept. for Vac. my last one for the year. This is when I will make the new move to the back side of the house for the Dahlias and the Irises coming. The Daylilies should be close to being done my then should be easy to divide them, But I am thinking more to early spring. (Aunnie Help).
Sorry Pea, Quarts will be to small of a pot, the best way is how I got mine, in early spring in plastic shopping bags.

Got the new strips today. this is the new bed.

Tilly, see d-mail. I'll try to be ready when you are. If weekend of labor day, that would be good. I can use the extra day to getaway on a road trip. No plans, as I don't go anywhere when the rest of the world is there.

Ann - er Anjl, is that yellow? Do you think MIL will like? I do, so may not matter...lol

Edited to say: Tilly, should I coax my son to come? Money works for him if he's not busy... therefore, I will pay him his $ IF he works that week -- generally my choice as to what I need done. Fairly strong young man......especially if he has items on his want list & money has run out.....

Returned Dmail Pea, And son welcome, if we don't have anything for him to do I'm sure my DH will. LOL
And Labor day weekend would work, this could be a Bday present to ME...( A helping hand that knows something about plants) Hee Hee.
Getting better by the minute. I just hope I can get the new bed ready before then. And by the way, please ignore the house, it only really gets cleaned in winter. LOL

Thought this was cool. This is my Woodpecker who lives in the tree.

tilly, sis will be learning about plants from you :o) i think she caught my garden disease on her short trip down here, and helping with moms yard! lol...
but if you need anything built ...DN is wonderful at that stuff!
did you ever get your trailer painted?

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Love to teach what I know, and still learning LOL
I just have a new idea on the trailer, its not painted as yet. I ride the ferry daily and I saw a trailer that is parked in the holding pen on the Edmonds side that sells Pizza's buy the slice. They cedar shingle it to make it look like a cabin. The day I saw it I forgot my camera and have be working nights since. Will get one yet. But the funny thing is my DH buys wood from a construction clean up guy for our wood stove and we get allot of nice wood we save for projects. This one load was nothing but cedar shakes, Idea burning in mine, gave Idea to DH he said I was nuts but then said it could be done.
But nothing will be done as of now. Found out I have two trees that have to be taken down in Woodland one is dead the other not looking to good. We are going to have a faller come out and look at it, it eather comes down the trailer will get hit so we have to move it.

She is right, you will be teaching me. Learn fast, but retention can be a problem at times ..... lol, Son is typical teen, complains / whines if not attached to computer or one of the gaming systems; however, VERY helpful.

Good luck on the trees. BTW, they now sell newer trailers with the wood siding. Some don't even look like trailers -- more like log homes!~

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

tills I think the cedar shingles would be a great idea! ooh, now you have my creativity flowing again! lol! you could even do some wood flower boxes under the windows! and it will match your wagon wheel benches perfectly! I love it! keep me posted on that project, it sounds like alot of fun!

Poulsbo, WA(Zone 8a)

Wish I had the time, but so like the Idea. But then after thinking it out might be more of a problem... Moss!!!

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

oh ya, I forgot about the moss there! lol! we scrubbed bunches of it off moms walkway bricks!

Gate (Rochester), WA(Zone 7b)

C-bombs work on moss (and weeds), but also tends to 'stain'. Baking soda & vinegar I believe? Ooh DS will chastise me for not remembering? I bought so much of the stuff to make them over the years! sssshh .... don't tell him, K?

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

lol, baking soda, vinegar and some dish soap.... only cause I watched him make them! :o)

Gate (Rochester), WA(Zone 7b)

:o) Thanks sis, saved by the 'bell'.....

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

am I a 'southern belle' or a western one?! tee hee!

Rochester, WA(Zone 7b)

I will post new pictures tomorrow. I have quite a few but may not post them all. May put some in my journal.

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

anxiously waiting! ;o)

Rochester, WA(Zone 7b)

Are you staying home again tomorrow? Nothing like taking another vacation. Shame it has to be in bed. Take care.

Love

Mom
