Help with Moms yard :o)

I love a big family that gets along well...haha I have 3 bro's and 1 sis, but my mom has 8 bro's and 2 sis's so we have a very large family...99% of them are all in AZ and what fun reunions...mom has many great grandchildren too...lol she hates that, but loves the babies!

Great grand niece. If my GD has any babies, that will be a sad thing thing, she only cares about herself 18 and the queen LOL

Uh oh ... now I feel like I am ease-dropping on your private family conversations! LOL! Those babies are sure cuties! Got some good genes in your extended family! :-)

oh ya, my DD is 18 and thought only of herself...but her son sure changed all that REALLY quick! lol!
I still believe she made the right choice tho :oD

I don't think that will change my GD if it did happen, she is sooo mean to other kids and very very lazy wants everyone to wait on her, She does not like to come here, because I do not tolerate her actions. Its so sad, I do love love her, She just thinks I'm just mean, which I am not.
I just want her to understand the way of life. LOL never happend

anjlsmom, you did -- black & white above, at least when we were younger. Glad to know I didn't cause TOO many gray hairs.....lol

We did not always get along SO well. Family get togethers seem to result in at least one dispute between two of us 'adult kids'. I prefer to stay out of it. Life has enough tension without adding to it!

Eaves drop away ~~ if we do another family pix, lets make sure their are no tiny kids except DGN. So, have to do it quick, before someone else has a kid! Don't want another 'portrait' like that one!!! Don't think I will ever get over it & it was....what, 15-16 yrs ago!! OMG

I have 23 of them! went a little overboard, still have more coming too! I didnt think to bring a cutting to moms...didnt think it would be warm enough there...hmmm. may need to take cuttings and ship them next year :o)

Cheryl....tee hee the family portrait from he double hockeysticks? aww come on! it wouldnt be fun unless there were a bunch of little kids with ear infections and fevers and pulling each others hair and...and... sheesh! at least it wasnt like the 'old fashioned' pix that they had to take 15 different pix of us...and everytime they flashed that big light I would have a seizure and pass out! oh, not to mention that we were all boiling hot cause of all them clothes and those bright lights! did you forget that one!? lol!

Tried to!! Wanted to!! Still think the one with kids was worse ~~ noise, stress, noise, hectic, panic, noise, anger, noise, headaches, noise, pulled hair....... Oh yeah & did I mention the NOISE -- crying, whining, yelling, screaming....... And then, there were the real kids. Naw, think I will skip this one LOL

Would the brug have to be in full sun?

I believe so... has to be in mostly sun in my yard....I'm curious tho..tills do you have onethat doesnt need alot of sun...or is it even a brug! maybe my eyes are deceiving me!

Don't think I want to subjected to another whole family picture. Maybe just individual family pictures with me in it. Sort of like the one Anjl took of me, her, DGD and DGGS. Maybe not even professional.
Just have her take the pictures of the different families. It would be a whole lot less stress.

Remember that was when there were only 6 grandkids, not 8.

mom, I would start by cutting off any of the bare branches. make sure its a clean cut with clean sharp clippers. I think it may just be in transplant shock, but lets try that first and see if it perks up some :o)

A Campanula which is a Bellflower, can do fine in filtered shade, full sun on the coast, there are over 300 diff.species. I have 3 or 4 they will do just fine where you live and where mom lives.
The one I showed is the Korean Bellflower.
This is another Camp. with a bad friend, LOL
This is a Camp. white, thats all the tag saids from another DGer, can't remember who.

oooh! I did plant korean bellflower in moms yard! lets see if they will bloom this late in the season :o)

Very nice photos! it really did look like a brugmansia ...but then again I just got my eyes tested today and well... even with corrections they told me I will never have 20/20 vision :o( so it was probably just my bad eyes! :o(


Mom, heres a pix of one of the daylilies I planted in your yard....mine is just now starting to bloom :o) yeay!!!
