Oh Candyce I think im going to cry.... definatly pouting!! But family or close friends that are like family always come first. You will be missed.

Sorry but I won't be able to make it this year. I was looking forward to it, but two rehearsals, a concert, and a trip to the midwest were piling up in the next three days, and to top it all off, ten shrubs I ordered a month ago finally came in yesterday and I have to dig holes, extract all those NE boulders I'll find there, and get those suckers in the ground today. My back will be wishing I had gone.
I was going to bring some young Calycanthus plants and a lot of perennial snapdragon seedlings, too. Now I'll have to find someone local to take them.
Oh well, hope we can make it next year.

but since I signed up, I have now got a secondary job on Saturdays and Sundays that prevent me from venturing too far from home. I am too new to ask for someone to replace me yet.

Kassia, I keep thinking about how much work you put in to make your gardens so welcoming and your garage so organized for all the food-tables! What a happy day Saturday was--I loved seeing all the DGers who could come, and I missed those who weren't able to make it.
Wow, what a fabulous "spread" of plants people brought. Gardeners truly are the most generous folks.
What a blast! I had such a great time meeting everyone. Isn't Kassia's place spectacular? I had to run off and take care of a friend's hyperactive, highly caffienated dog last night and all day today, but now I'm finally free! ...and tired and ready for bed... So, I'll post my pics of the RU tomorrow. I was so busy enjoying everyone's company, that I didn't take very many pics. I had such a good time, though!!
