A very strange, small lily. It barely makes it to my knee!

what a pretty little asiatic lilly Pixie. You know.... that would look really good next to my "old copper" rhody that I posted a pic of up above. :-p this is a pic of it from another angle that I didn't like as well.

They have the same colors!!!!!

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

Harder to find color in a rhody and really hard to find in a lilly! The lilly is a noid correct? maybe if you can post that picture in the ID.or lilly forum we could make a match happen!! I have lilly's in less sun that I have that rhody in and they bloom just fine.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Beautiful shots everyone!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great shots, Dawn and Celeste. My President is just starting now. It is growing on my arbor with New Dawn.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Love Butter and Sugar, and of course the BF.

Southeastern, CT(Zone 6a)

RC and Celeste - timing is everything, huh? Would you have noticed if they bloomed a few weeks apart? Probably not. How cool! East meets West DG style.

Hi all. I am experimenting with the camera and learning to edit. Yesterday I learned to crop and have now graduated to a few new things. So...here goes. A trumpet vine in bud.

Asclepsis, or butterfly weed, which is wild (but not common) here. We have several.

Very confused wisteria. It forgot it already bloomed a few months ago.

Thanks Amy. I think they need to be a bit bigger. Back to the drawing board :).

Those are great pictures Laurel! Glad that you're having fun with your camera and computer stuffI love the squashs' googly eyes. It looks as though it wants to be photographed! you'll have to show us plenty more of what the camera and you can do!

I agree nanegoat, if we had posted a few weeks apart, it wouldn't be anything special. But, it's special because DG hooked them up and because they bloom at the same time! Or at least at the same time if they are a continent away from each other :-p

Dawn, I really like the new heuchera. what kind is it?

Candyce, where did you find Little lanterns? It's cute.

southern willamette , OR(Zone 7a)

I guess that it was sort of a "dogwood day" for me today. Which is a good day. Don't worry I won't bore everyone with the multitudes of them.

Bill, this pic is of one of the same Cornus Satomi's as last week, just older and definitely pinker!

and I finally found something that mentions the possibility of color changes, other than me! http://www.westonnurseries.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=plants.plantDetail&plant_id=193

The next three pics are all of the same Satomi. These flowers in this pic look to be at the same stage as the others but are on the bottom of the tree and are pretty shaded.

same tree again.

different tree, same strange thing. Both these flowers are on the same tree. I think the flower on the right hasn't been open as long as the other and gets a little more shade.

Satomi as well

I'm not sure which cotinus this is, I think that there's a good chance that it's "grace" though.
