Morning Glories 2008 #06

Karen (bluespiral) - Thanks for asking! I have seeds coming for Ipomoea lobata. I just used up my last seeds trying to get a vine or two to grow. It did poorly in a pot, so I shall be growing any new seeds in the ground again this year with the hopes that I will get seed pods finally. I really like this vine and am trying to get it to grow successfully in my yard. Time will tell...

" wind-friendly morning glory " - LOL! Wouldn't that be so coooool!!! Too funny! I shouldn't laugh ... someone will probably create such a MG! :-)

Okay Jackie ... I'm back to the new thread! Sorry for dragging this one on so long! LOL!

I think this has been a wonderful thread. I`m glad you got your ipomoea lobata. My pink vine may be Two cultivars. I discovered this morning it has Two different patterns on two vines in the pot so since it came from a mix then it is a Large Flower Japanese Morning glory Mix. One looks exactly like the first plant but there is this second one that is coming out with a different look. I`ll share on the next thread. Also, I noticed a lot of my cultivars that are blooming so I`ll share some of those.
