Finally! I was convinced that the Picotee Mix seed packet from Japan was all Purple w/a few Blue . . . then I see this one this morning! It's not open all the way, but I wanted to get a pic just in case it wasn't open when I get home from work tonite.

That is adorable. Pictures like this make the hard work worth it doesn`t it?
Karen
Nichole, precious little girl and the flowers aren't bad either. lol
Karen, Love the two shades of blue on Uki-fuji.
Oh! Toooooo cute, Nichole! Daughter, granddaughter, neighbor's child? I love your white picotee!!! My 1st seed from Japan was a picotee is dark pink/reddish color. I will have to grow out some more seeds to see what else I get.
Definitely Daughter, Becky! She just turned 2 on May 15.
As for the picotee seeds, I had 6 left - 2 went into a pot w/pineapple mint, the other 4 went into my pig pot on the back porch. There was one bloom that was getting ready to open the other morning . . . it had a red look to it, but when I got home later, it was a normal purple.
They look good, Becky! My blooms looked toasted as well. I've gotten 2 or 3 seeds from it (vine didn't get very big). I'll give it another week, then maybe start the seeds I collected. I'll put the seeds in a more shaded spot, maybe.
Becky, I asked her the same thing when I got the seeds from her! She said it's a day-into-the-afternoon bloomer.
Even though Beth's ebay seeds that were supposed to be "Fuji no Monet" but turned out to be solid purple, they are still really pretty blooms! Both the bees and I have been crossing the blooms from other vines. But I think the bees are beating me every morning because I see pollen all over the petals before I even cross them! LOL! I don't care. It's just a joy to see them every morning all abloom!
Thanks, Becky! Yours are all nice, but this is my favorite: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5095578
I have a hard time chosing a favorite, Nichole. I walk along my picket fence and do the ooooh and awwww each morning. I see one color and then move along to the next and then go back and look at them all over again. LOL! They are just so pretty all of them! I just wished the blooms lasted all day! That would be total perfection, IMHO!
I really like this cross of Rabenda X P. Bush. This is just one of those photos that looks like it should be a painting. Sort of a Victorian style or something!

Becky, all your blooms are really special this yr. I hope I have a few blooms that can even come close. lol
This is just one bloom! The color is amazing! Almost a double but not quite.
Meag, the one from Emma is spectacular! And I love the other one too. Beautiful!
Nichole - I love the Picotee vines! ALL colors! They are just the sweetest blooms, aren't they?! Mine have always been compact in size. They remind me so much of the Japanese growing Bonsai plants. Your white blooms are lovely!
Love all three blooms Nichole. The white picotee is really nice.
Oops, just noticed that the pinks belong to Melanie, sorry about that Melanie. Gorgeous blooms.

Syrumani, I love that white one! Do you have a name for it?
revclaus - the white one came in a Picotee Mix packet from Japan, so I'm not sure if it has an official name . . . I've been calling it Finally!
