trent love your spiderlily! great pic too of the inflo....has the one you had in the back living room when I visited bloomed yet this year? I still await signs on mine...but they are leafing quite well...I was thinking of leaving them in the 1 gal containers I rooted them in..how do you feel about that because you have wayyy more exp w/ plumeria then I so any suggestions would be awesome..

..and...I actually do have "Harvest Moon" blooming but something keeps eating the petals off. This is the only one that has even one petal still on it. I'm thinking maybe it's sneaky bunny rabbits. But I have no idea, really.

the Japanese beetles have arrived here...been picking off the rose blooms the last few days...eck...hate those things...

Rednyr: I feel your pain. They've been here for a few weeks now and they make me crazy! I "patrol" for them each evening. One day, it's the roses, next it's the Crape Myrtles, then the Cannas. They seem to hit a different plant every day. Grrrrr!

deanna- thanks, and thanks again.... the plumie dropped its inflo a while ago.... oh the sadness. my cuttings are also only doing leaves. if there were no inflo's on them to begin with, i wouldnt expect flowers until at least next year. But you can always hope.... it sounds to me that you are doing everything right for your cutings. just keep them in the sun. they like heat, but make sure they arent on concrete or asphalt in full sun or they will get sun scald on their leaves. and make sure they dont get too wet. i usually ont even water mine... i just leave that part up to God. if you do need to water, however, wait until the soil is slightly moist underneath, but it looks dry on the top.. the graft was done by Hetty (Dutchlady1) she probably could tell you about the graft... or Clare_CA. she is the one that i have learned most of this from

Lotus Emerald something or other, Emerald Goddess maybe. It is a mini in a large water bowl.

This is another mini. Hibiscus Zoey, you wouldn't believe the color changes on this one. Some days she is bright rosy red, other times she is pink or cream or bright yellow. It seems to be weather determined but it is always a surprise to me. These are tiny flowers for a tropical, just 4".

Trent - is it possible to have an inflo and no leaves yet? I know it sounds like a stupid question but 2 of the plumeria I got out of all of them have no leaves but they have a funny 'carrot' looking top and have had them since I got them...they are rooting, just no leaves..maybe I outta just dmail ya a pic so you can see what I mean...

Ardesia..you have me once again drooling with envy...you have some awesome colors there lady! love every pic

Core - love the hydrangea that is bi polar...alkaline and acidic all in one...it just can't make up it's mind...LOL

Shari I can smell that sweet gardenia from here...how pretty...I really like your panache...am patiently awaiting my "Journeys End" to bloom...sigghhh.......first year growing it and several others but JE seems to be way ahead of the others thus far...gave em all a kick of high tess fert the other day..now if mother nature will comply and give it something besides my well water I think they will get kicking faster :)

Heres my other daylily that somehow didn't post the other nite...arrghh comcast is on my last nerve..LOL

deanna, how a bout a pic..... if there is a litle miniature broccoli thing on the top, then that is an inflo. it is possible, if the tree went dormant when it was just making an inflo, to have no leaves, but it seems to me that it would at least try to branch or something... a pic would be nice.
core,- wow that is intese! that red is realbringht... or at least on my monitor it is... nice. what hybrid is it??

Sumter, SC(Zone 8a)

debin - well thats a very pretty drop in! LOL hopefully it will invite others to come on over :)

woah... that is actually 2 inflo's at a time! impressive! keep taking care of it because i see a few buds trying to come out. you'll have leaves soon they are just starting to come out of the branches (the three short nubs) so it sounds like you are good to go!
