While CoreHHI was at Disneyworld, I was at Disneyland. It's still so 50ish, very cool. I also went to the Getty Center up in LA, lovely gardens.

I kind of went overboard on the hosta this year. Here's some of the crowd that are blooming.

And this is Impatiens arguta 'Blue Dream'. It would probably like a bit more sun than it gets, but it blooms on and off all summer and fall.

What a good idea this "blooming this month" was. It was hijacked from the hibiscus forum but very useful. A site on the internet that is useful, who would have thought? LOL.

I don't know my flowers well at all and this is pretty much priceless as far as when less than main stream plants are blooming. Some main stream but usually with a twist.

CoreHH and DebinSC, Happy to hear that you are starting to see your hummingbird visitors! I find them to be out all day long here, Mostly in the mornings and late afternoon/Evenings, But during the whole day also. I have gotten a few photos but nothing really good yet.

DebinSC And Rednyr, Thanks so much for the nice comment, Now I won't feel so bad about posting the same type plant in most of my postings here.

rednyr, If I go to the DL farm, It would probably be tommorrow afternoon or Sunday Afternoon ( Bad bad place for me to go! You know how it is when you have an addiction and theres a gazillion different blooms to look at!)
I seen the DL cultivar "Isolde" a couple weeks back and I was just in awe at how beautifull it was!! Talk about a 'Nice Purple"!! ~It was just awsome! I haven't forgotten about it since I seen it!! There should be so many Dls blooming there this weekend, I'd like to take a ride down just to see the blooms, I find it helps a lot to actually be able to see the blooms first hand opposed to going by pictures of them. ( Got to keep telling myself, "I have No Room in the garden!! lol!)

Thanks for the link! I'll check it out in a little bit ( Trying to get caught up with the forums right now) And Thanks also for the offer on the DP seeds if you get any from it! I'm not too good with seed growing, But, Sure would give it my best shot!!

BJ, Nice pics, Nic coloring on the Butterfly ! Hosta's look great! arguta 'Blue Dream' is different, And pretty!

DebinSC, Really like that last photo!

Jen - where did you get him! He's awesome!!!!

Seabrook, SC(Zone 8b)

NOID, meaning I have NO IDEA. It has a name, I just was not very good at labeling the daylilies. I'm usually fairly good with labeling plants, but daylilies defeat me.

Oh well, it's still my favorite so far this year.

Rednyr-

He was a total bargain. Last fall one of the local daylily clubs was at the UGA Bamboo Farm's fall festival in Savannah and you could get 10 named daylily fans for $20 bucks. Some were multiple fans, as you can tell, 'cause they're already blooming.
