Hey you doubters.......I would rather have fun and pay a few dollars and get a plant than fork over $3-5 and not have anything to show. If you don't want to get a nice plant or gift for a buck, then wait for the free chances! If you can't get around too well, pick a child to walk for you! They love to do that. LOL!
I hate to do this at this late hour before the swap, but something came up and I will not be able to come. I will miss meeting those I don't know and seeing all of you that I dearly love knowing.
Sorry about the trades, I didn't promise much and felt I might have to stay home. Then I got my hopes up, just to be dashed. I won't try to get others to shuffle the trades for me that is too much to ask. Use them to trade for some other neat things please.

I DO want to play! I think the cake walk is a fantastic idea, and lots more fun than just giving $5. I just have to put my thinking cap on to come up with something to bring...maybe all the great baskets I have from all the lovely houseplants I have killed. LOL If the lack of sunlight doesn't get 'em, my irregular watering schedule does. Maturnity leave killed most of the ones I had at school, but I have a very cute kid to show for all the plant casulties.
Today she was supervising our latest project. DH chain sawed down all the tree/bushes he was allergic to, and I get to chop them into smaller pieces so we can get rid of them. YEA!!! More light for the Meyer lemon and grapefruit tree I just got DH for father's day! (Someone on another thread gave me the idea for a "perfect" father's day gift.) I think he likes the trees almost as much as I do. LOL

This next 2 weeks I can't roam from home. DH still having some medical treatments but after that we found out today, he is looking at another proceedure, we don't know what it will entail yet. If it is simple we may be able to do East TX, but I am not getting my hopes up on that one yet, only to be dissappointed again. We just want him healthy. This is not what we wanted to do our first year of retirement!

ok go figure here I am giving away some of the day lily I have and the dang things finally decide they are going to bloom after I thought they needed to be thinned ...not knowing when they were planted to begin with.
so here is a picture of the one I have blooming now and am going to dig the ones for trade later this evening when it cools down to make it less traumatic for it tomorrows trade.

i am so sorry to have missed all of you. but beck one of these days we're going to meet up. mowed on fri. and lost my mowing money. i did find it finally yesterday afternoon in my yard. i have everyone's plants and will get them to you either at the next swap or when i can. thanks to everyone for sending me plants. dawn said she had a great time.
Beck, I think my Pawpaws got put in Charlene's truck. So put me on your list for next time, please. Also, I had another plant in the white 6-pk but now I don't remember what it was.
