I dont want any of that NETTLE stuff! I picked it up the other day and smelled it to see what kind of herb it might be. I thought I was going to lose half my face! Thank Gawd I had a tube of the BIG T (Triamcinolone). If you guy dont have this on hand you need to get a script from your doctor, its good for everything that itch and burns ... anywhere on your body! LOL

Look above this message to the first time you posted your trades. It is post # #5001472. As you look at the post you will see to the left a box with your name, date, time etc. Under that you will see the post # and beneath that the word "edit" will appear.

Does anyone have any hostas that like full sun? I don't exactly have any shade yet.

Sylvia... I don't have a camera..lol ... and besides I don't know how to do the pics...lol but I will bring some to the ru... they are kinda like francee, but this year the creamy white isn't as white... Yes I love hostas, and only had that one, but had 3 of them. I divided them last year, cause I thought they were too big.. Now I am finding I shouldn't have... they were about 6 yrs old and huge! Been trading with dgers and am now getting some named ones! yah!! to dgers!!
That gold standard is gorgeous!! I just got that one with a bunch of bulbs I ordered. I really like it!!

Charlene.. the North side of the house would be perfect shade for the hostas. I know the hostas are taking more sun now but mine are all shade loving so far. I can bring you some...lol

Charlene, there is only two Hostas I know of that can take a lot of sun. They are JUNE and Night Before Christmas.
Since I don't know for sure if I'm coming, I'm not going to do a trade list this time. Don't have a lot to divide right now anyway. I'll just bring what I can and hope it finds a new home.
There's probably time to start monarda cuttings, if anyone wants them. I have a pink noid, and red Jacob Kline. I also have the usual hundreds of coneflowers, if anyone needs them.
Someone here was asking for obedient plant? I have one that I accidentally bought from a nursery which was mistagged. I got several at the last swap and don't need it. But I don't know what color it is. One thing is for sure--it won't be blue like the Brazos penstemon I was looking for!
Oh, that would be great, Cocoa. Josephine gave me two of these in CS. Then I saw them in a group at Waxahachie, and just fell in love. If you have babies, that would be perfect to add to hers. Thanks. :)

Oh Josephine, the verbena photo was a joke because the poor things are going up through the handle and out the top...it's just sad...I sowed way too much to keep up with. Lesson learned.
but when I opened what I thought was the penstemon jug, it doesn't look like penstemon foliage too me. These seeds were given to be by Trois at the Arlington RU and he only knew them as False Foxglove. He had a gorgeous photo of them and I don't think you'll be disappointed, whatever they are.
Cocoa, I remember him showing us those seeds and I thought I picked some up too (goodness knows where they got to. If I remember right, they were the Agalinis sp., possibly Agalinis purpurea. see link: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/450369/

Mama, Easter Egg Layers are usually chickens of mixed Americana or Auracana blood lines. Their eggs are pastel green, blue and pinks. Serious breeders must keep their blood lines pure for showing, breeding and etc. Mine are really nothing more than pets with pretty and tasty eggs. Mine have a really sweet, quiet and calm demeanor. I want a rooster with all the same characteristics but don't care if it's a pure breed. Birds like that usually get labeled EEL's. "I think".....you have to understand that's 100 percent of my knowledge on the subject.lol

Hey, Barb, you know, I haven't bought any Brazos penstemons yet. Just have the two from Josephine. I did TRY to buy another one, but it was a mistagged obedient plant. Didn't know then what an obedient plant looks like, LOL! But I got three of those in Waxahachie, so now I have this extra mistagged one sitting in the middle of Josephine's penstemons. Someone was asking for that, and I'd love for them to have it, but I don't know what color it is or anything.
I will take all the penstemons that anyone would like to bequeath. I have a hot full sun bed that they should like. Don't you think they'd look good out there with Sweezel's Mexican mint marigold?

You know, we are not really sure what "it" is. Trois gave me the seeds, someone told me it was penstemon, I offered it to Patty as penstemon only to realize the foliage is not the same same as pestemon. Sweezel was at the Arlington RU and saw the same photo of "it" that I saw. She remembered Trois looking for an I.d. in this link http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/450369/ where it never was 100 percent indentified. I offered to bring some because the photo Sweezel and I saw was really, really, pretty. Oh, and just in case you missed it MamaJack said I was a genius... Keep up people.lol

I looked on Mama's tradelist page to see what color it might be, but got distracted when I saw "Pineapple Guava Cuttings" and began to wonder if you could really grow a tree from cuttings, or should I say I wonder if "I" could grow a tree from a cutting. If so, I might be able to grow a Meyer lemon too. But I would probably need to be as brilliant as cocoa to do something like that. I am afraid with my current level of knowledge I might kill it. LOL!
