Such a peaceful tableau, debilu.
What is that little blue bloom down in the corner? It's placement is perfect against the reds and pinks and greens.
Spring Blooms - Part 9
Forget me nots - they grow where they want.

I thought so, debilu. Thanks for confirming my suspicion.
Their color is perfect, isn't it?
Yes, I'll always have them, I have a small clump of a darker blue that is gorgeous. Those aren't scattering as much.
Very nice, all! Love the red tulip, Deb. And I agree about your last two shots, Shelly. That rhodie is incredible. Very nice Amy! And I love the dramatic description.
Nothing wrong with that, Celeste!
Great color on that iris!
Nice poppy shot, Weeze! Love that lamium, Celeste.
Nice Poppy! Can't wait for mine to wake up!!
Victor, some people say the Lamium is invasive..i've had mine for 2-3 years and have only had 2 runners off it. Both of which I shared w/someone here on DG.
Looks like Hemlock to me Louise.
Looks like false cypress, Weeze. What sun and moisture conditions is the lamium in, Celeste? I tried once but it was too dry and too much sun.
ZD is Zepherine Drouhin?
Unknown, but very nice!
Nice salvia shot. Which is it? My May Night seems to have petered out over the years. Not my favorite plant - love the blooms but hate the empty center it gets, even if deadheaded.
Also called Hinoki cypress.
Nice shot! Mine never really got big where I would need to divide.
Victor,
It is in almost complete shade....gets morning light only and even that is slightly dappled. I't near the woodsline so the soil is moist and very rich fron the decomposing leaf matter ect... I do mulch only because I was told it was invasive. It's actually in the shade bed with the hosta, astilbe's and primrose. It seems to do it's best there and my astilbe are darker in color than the ones who get more sun.
OK if not hemlock its could be creeping cedar or trailing juniper?
