No flowers but so many tones of green....
Best/ worse/ ? did you learn today #43 visit with friends...
Too early to get photo's of all the other gardens..will add some from time to time as they bloom, thought I'd show you what keep me busy during spring months..lol
While adding these pictures my sister Sharon MSN'd me..she did a lot of work at her home yesterday and threw her back out (she's divorced and has the 40 year old son who lives with her who doesn't think he should do anything) so to try and prove she's capable she overdoes....
anyway, she just received a call from her girlfriend in DewyRose, Georgia..this lady bought 2 of Sharon's 'american eskimo' dogs..one now 5 and one 3..beautiful show dogs...she was having her home painted, painters went to get some materials and left the gate opened and the 2 dogs were hit by a car and killed...both are frantic and distraught..how aweful...
Carol, going to post the photo's on the 'hosta' forum to start my 'tagging' process..they might be able to name the ones I have..after that, I'm hooked, picking up the 'blue' one tonight and will keep a journal and go in hunt of different species...you've done it girl..lots of shaded area out in front yard for them..
Betty, You are a busy woman, and I thought I was busy. You got it goin on!! You inspire me to keep going and it does get rough sometimes you know!! May your health return and that for the rest of your family also. Your gardens are beautiful. I love to take pics you know so am out almost everyday with the camera. I just bought Digital cameras for Dummies on the marketplace so can't wait to learn more.
I can't seem to keep up with all so just wish all a good day!! I will work inside everyother day it rains. Stop! stop! Lord give some of it where it is needed bad and let our farmers get the crops in. They are almost a month behind here. Here is another pics. Hugs to all BEV High Bush Cranberry Viburnum
Now isn't that the most gorgeous plant I've ever seen...without opening it I thought they might be floating on water...wow...another shrub/tree to add to my list of wants... you are all encouraging me..
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY VERY KIND LADY!!

How very kind Judy .. was reading "Happy Anniversary" and thought, oooops forgot something...it's been great trravelling with you all over this past year..we've all hit bumps in the road, all supported each other, all became friends and ALL opened the door for newcomers to join us...some have stayed, some have left, some lurkers have gotten good feelings from our talks, it's been about crafts, it's been about gardening, it's been about many things in life and death that has caused us to form a 'circle of friendship' I've been proud to know you all, I speak more of you than family members at times lol - my community friends know of each of you, see me worried at times when you are down, and laugh with me when I tell them of your ups...
Love you all
...And
I do Love all of you as well!
You have all been a very special part of my life.

Hi all,
Busy day..just got back from meeting friends for an afternoon out ..and now I am off to have dinner with another friend.
yesterday it was shopping with a Friend..everything came at once.
Judy..your Hosta might be Royal Standard. I'm no expert but that is my guess.
Will catch up tomorrow..
Must run.just wanted to say Hi..
Going to bed, bit tired tonight..yes it's only 6:30 but my bed looks awefully comfy..
Best of today ... walk around enjoying beauty of the shrubs/plants that are coming alive right before my eyes...
Worse of today..hearing about the lady in GA who has 2 of Sharon's American Eskimo's..it was also the lady's birthday and to have her both dogs killed..late this aft. she was digging graves...I'm sure it's overwhelming fo rher!!
What did I learn..don't make plans in the morning for what you will do when you get home..had the grass to cut, hosta to pick up and where am I going...to bed...lol
Night/night
Betty,
Thank you for all your beautiful gareden pictures! It IS hard to believe that all that had tons of snow over it--BUT----snow is the "great insulator" of plants.....so, everything did not freeze in your garden--it just sat ythere protected and waited for Spring to come--and then they all greened up. Your garden is truly beautiful! Love the pond!!!!
That clump of Primroses......you can dig it up and divide it easily--they all just pull apart--and then spread them around elsewhere.
The one with the yellow tips/flowers--is that an Evening Primrose???
Liove seeing the Rhubarb leaves' walking stones! Just beautiful !
Judy......You have seen pictures of me? Have you not???? Click on my name and there's a real "glamor shot" of me----at least I am a little dressed up. Was in a Conference Center for a dinner. It is now almost 3 years old--but at my age, who changes much anyway? I like to believe I just get "better"......:o)
I was going to post another picture--just for you--but I am doing this from my computer at work--and it does not access My Documents....that's where I keep all my Pictures...
Almost 2 more hours to sit here......Ho--Hummmm.....
Hugs to you all, Gita
OMG Betty - you know I was sick to not mention my Mom and the kitty! Let's just day, it took her awhile to compose herself and everytime she looked at it, she'd start crying. She LOVED it and said it was the BEST Mother's day present she has ever received!!! (so much for all my crayon drawings! LOLOL) .
Anyway, here she is..... starting to open the box
Well goodness, GG. Now I'm cryin too.
I know - making my Mother cry.......
but look at her smile.
How beautiful.
Betty & Diane - THANK YOU SO MUCH for your kindness towards my Mother! Words can't express it enough!!!!
Hugs,
Jeannine
