Blooms on my Weigela.
What's Blooming Outside Your Door, Part 2
NWGordon..Your red hot poker is so different than the few I have.
I was not aware that there are different types. Yours looks so much stronger and hardy and the coloration, leaf structure are so different. Learned something new today.
After doing some research on my old invoices, this is refered to as a poker
primrose and not a red hot poker . I purchased it through farmseed.com
It is heck getting old and trying to remember things. I used to be so sharp!
geeze..sorry for the confusion.

Wow! The color of that is cool. A smart person is going to come on and tell us the diffrence. My guess is that you have torch lilies and not the knipfofia. I don't even think I am spelling it right! lol Going to look now!
Bea, I have the same kind of Red Hot Poker as Gordon - now I want some like yours! That is gorgeous.
Where did you get it. Tried ti find something like it on plant files but no go. I really like the colors on yours.
Just love seeing everyones bloomers...lol! So many pretties and great gardening ideas! I have done a crooked pot also but haven't taken a picture. I did it in red/white/blue, I decided it worked well with our summer holidays.
Good night all, I am finally sleepy,
cocoajuno, that Sinister TB is gorgeous!
And I love your Wisteria arbor.
Carla - love the huddle picture. The caption should be, "Canines: we come in all sizes, Small, Medium and Large."
Beautiful flower pics everyone! Here's what's finally blooming here. I was afraid they would freeze before they got a chance to bloom, but they didn't THANK HEAVEN cause I LOVE their fragrance! When I mow under them I stop the mower and just sit there with the flowers in my face and take a huge deep breath! So you might say I "stop and smell the Lilacs"! LOL!
Susan
Beautiful iris cocojuno..& the lilacs gardner 105 fantastic! I have several little lilac saplings that I hope will grow up to look like yours.
Day started with a emergency root canal at 8am. Fun! But I feel so much better now and was able to get out into the garden this afternoon & even eat dinner. Something that was not possible yesterday. I was miserable. Back into the swing of things I had this lovely Iris just waiting to be photographed.
Bea, love the iris...do you know which one it is? just beautimus! LOL on the big mess...haha
Tills love the Setosa great color! No rush on the day it can be whenever you are ready!
