What a beautiful photo texasbigleaves! Serious case of zone envy going on. It is cold and rainy where I am. Had to put on the winter coat again today. It may get down to the 30's tonight.

Oh gosh, tetley. That sounds awful. We are finally mostly warm but I am never real sure.
I live about 5 miles from texasbigleaves and rita.

What color does the variegated Crinum bloom? Or does it?

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

That Maya Plumie is beautiful, where would one find one ?
Your place has so many really spectaular plants.
I also love the things that Rita grows and plan on stopping by her place when I have a trip for work in that area in early May. If the Maya plumie is available locally maybe I can find it.
Thanks for the info.

Rita
How do you get the BOP to bloom ? I have one like yours and a black and white one but no blooms for several years. They are in pots, get lots of sun. I bet they are root bound and think that is good for blooms, right?
Also still have the trip thru your area and plan on a look at your garden the May 5 week. I will Dmail you on time and date if that is still a go with you. I have a nice group of things to bring you.

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

WOW they do like those plants. With that price, I would have to die for it.
LouC- Did you send me some plants by way of Mibus or cocoa ?
We are to meet up sometimes and change plants. Were you in Waxa.? You will have to come this way so I could load you up with plants.
Great looking plants Tx, or Jerry. I understand you are friends with Rita.

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, David. I sent it by way of Phyllis. Sorry you had the other sale on the same day. We had a good time in Waxahachie and Bronc's home.

I live close to Rita (about 5 miles or so) should you want to make another stop.

Why don't you jump in the car when those gals head my way. Unless you are looking for very specific plants, bet I have some to share. The daylilies started blooming today.
Come see me.
DD
Thanks for the plants you sent with them.

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

Wish I could. I am in Dallas. About 2+ hours to your house. Right now we are painting and remodeling the family room. Rather be in the garden.
