Eleanor - was it the same person who worked at that big estate in Maine and had the plants that had to be quarantined? She planted many thousands of bulbs each year and posted photos of the daffodils, tulips, etc. last May.
DG Names.....What's your real name??
I remember a few from Maine - Watersedge(?), Kim (DG name?), noreaster.
Also, we left out David - davidpaul from CT.
SO how many of us so far, seems like a ZILLION! Love it! Clem
Yes, Victor, it was watersedge. Her work paid off and her photos were outstanding.
I suggest the 'roster' be made into a sticky with only one post from Eleanor (if she wants to be the 'keeper of the roster'!) and it gets edited for changes & additions.
Also - sequee from NY. Don't know her name.
Hi Alison...welcome! And don't be intimidated at all by all the names.....No one will get offended in the least if you use our DG name in a post. Gradually you get to know the other names - and the list Eleanor made will help us all a lot! The best part about this forum is the easy-going nature of most eveyone who posts here......we cut each other a LOT of slack for all sorts of minor sins......as long as you don't say anything intentionally mean to one of us!! That doesn't fly here, but that's about it. Just throw caution to the wind and chime in often.....that's how you get to know people!
Victor - I like your sticky idea for the list so we can print it out with updates from time to time. Good idea. And thank you, Eleanor, for taking the time to do it! It is helpful!
Louise
Hi, all,
I've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm back in (though I hear my daughter waking up from her nap right now--my loop participation might be erratic).
Not surprisingly, my real name is Meg. And please don't call me Margaret unless I'm in trouble.
Thanks for compiling the list!!
Arlene - I don't remember anything about her. I just went back through a couple of threads and made a list of names of the people who posted. I didn't go to far back either - maybe 2-3 months. I can be the keeper of the roster as long as you make sure I'm aware of new comers. Eleanor
Eleanor - here's her thread about the 15,000 muscari bulbs she planted:

Hi Meg! Welcome back!
Well, I'm definitely the only one from WV here. Except I'm not really FROM WV, I just live here. I'm originally from Essex MA.
Hello everybody new, and new again.
I can't be the only Canuck, can I?
Watersedge is from Northeast Harbor, Maine and his real name is Karl.

Welcome Alison and Meg. Alison, I'm new and not from the N.E., but they took me in here and have been so kind. Kind is the operative word. They are obviously, in my case, not very discriminating.
Pam, my hub is from Newton, but put him in a pair of "overhauls" and he looks like the rest of us.
AHAA Threegardeners!! What did you Canukians do to our weather? It never hit fifty today and we're probably going to have frost tonight. Give me a break, I've been doing my best to shoo your geese of the dock and send them home. I'll even send you goose guano.
Sign me "The Lone Georgian from Florida". That qualifies as a northerner, yes?
Laurel
Hi Alison
I try to remember names but know that it's ok to use DG names because by the time I looked up a name, the subject would change!!
Welcome Alison & Meg.... Alison I am ALWAYS going to spell your name wrong
:)
Allison
Hi Meg!
We also have DawnLL from Sudbury, Canada, here, threegardeners.
Funny, I never realized watersedge was a man! Not that I read many posts by him though.
Laurel, I always said that if you're NE of somewhere, you're in. (But you're still on probation!^_^)
I always thought watersedge was a woman, too. People like Victor, Dave and David as well as Thom (and certainly WC) are obviously men so I guess I was wrong again. Wouldn't be the first time today that it's happened.
Ahh, Victor, even though I'm not Italian, I have sensitive roots. Then I either garden or get violent. Can my people meet with your people and work this out?
Hee hee. Sure, we'll have a sit-down.
Welcome to the new members that are all 'Northeast of Somewhere', and hi to everybody!!!
hey, the more the merrier whatever your name!
Martha
Hi to all, keep on posting your names! Love, Clemen
Is there anyone on the list from Vermont?
Hi, everyone. Sorry to be so late in posting...too much darn work. Daisygrrl = Deborah from Rhinebeck, NY
Thanks for the name Deborah - you have been added to the list!!! Eleanor
Guess I should add to the state of confusion. Louise, Weeze, Weezer.
Thanks Louise! I have to ask where the names Weeze and Weezer came from???? Eleanor
Thanks for maintaining the list, Eleanor!!
Yes, thank you Eleanor. Good job!
I am bit late to the list :~]
Dulcigarden= Soris
Never too late!
What a lovely name - i don't think i've ever heard it.
That's me after hours outside - Gardenus soris.
Victor that sounds more like a dino's name. LOL
Yes - and that's how I feel at times!
Hurray! I made the list
Seandor (pronounced SEE an dooor) aka Michaela ^_^
