Beautiful Anita! Thanks for a great start to my day!!!
Spring Blooms - Part 3
Thanks!
Celeste - it was a good start to my day too! ☺
Lots of new growth, not all recognizable yet. Wasn't there 2 days ago. It was so relaxing today to come home after work and walk thru the garden and see so much new growth. I have one yellow daffodil bud, the rest are still green.
Nice, Patti!
ditto Patti!
Nice photos Anita & Patti.... love the pink one Anita
Spring beauty! Love it. :)
Thanks - it's a closeup on a hyacinth.
Patti - is that a lime green/yellow daff?
I wish, but it opened a uniform bright chrome yellow. Rip Van Winkle blooming in part shade on the west side of the house. Patti
some 7 years from seed
Nice, Jen. Yes, hellebores are slow.
Seven years? Now I'm glad I bought mine potted. Thanks Victor--Jo Ann
I believe mine bloomed the second or third year after planting the potted ones.
nice pictures everyone! Anita's dewy flower collage, and Patti - I love the frits.... Its really shocking to see all this ground out side- Its been covered in white for soooo long. New things every day now, I'm starting to get a little woosie... Daphne blooming (actually the smell does make you swoon)
Nice, Sarah. I have Carol Mackie but it's still small and never bloomed. Anita, just noticed the backlit hellebore in your collage - beautiful!
thanks victor- I have to plant more daphne.. always good to have a long list of garden have to haves.. Is mine d. mezereum?? I just call it spring daphne- a friend of mine rooted it- i was impressed! It's gradually becoming a real bush..
wonderful pictures ngam- you're a couple steps ahead of us here!
Oh look at all the pretty flowers! It's so nice to see color and not snow/and or brown pictures.

Re:helebores,
I wish I had known that about them. I would have gotten them anyway but I like to have all the facts. That's something they should tell you when buying plants, the time it takes to become established.
I keep getting excited when I see 'uva vulpis'. My mind wanders...
Vinca.
Victor, get your mind out of the uvas!
Nice shots Victor!
Thanks, Celeste.
