Here are some crocuses under the hydrangea tree. The bricks are so my dd won't go in and step on the hostas pushing through.

Love the pussy willows and all the crocus bebop and Sue. Nice hydrangea tree too.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

fantastic photos, and lovely 'sprouts'!! Victor, your daffs give me hope. Mine are about half that size, but two are already showing their bloom buds. So, a few more weeks of lovely temps like today and I can start showing some blossoms, too.

We have a ton of tulips, and I can't wait to see them all waving in the breeze.

belleville, NJ(Zone 6a)

My 1st fritillaria uva vulpis (they returned from last year - i didn't expect them to...)
i LOVE these, and they are in such an awful place no one else ever even sees them.

And at last, the chianodoxa (?) opened!!! And, what a relief, it looks like at least one or two others might be coming up (out of the 6 i planted).

Each one is like a little bouquet - i didn't know they'd come out like this... ^_^

Rhinebeck, NY(Zone 5b)

love that frittilaria, Amy, and happy to see your chinodoxia are up...I think mine might be blooming this weekend, along with some of our helebores!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yay for Amy!! There really are lovely!!!!!!

belleville, NJ(Zone 6a)

Thanks!
i counted 3 more sprouts popping up with the chianodoxa, so hopefully more are on the way.
Of course the secret fritillarias returned, but the bag i FINALLY found at HD and planted in a better spot in the fall has only put up one or two sprouts (of 15). sigh.

Is anyone else growing the species tulip "Lilac Wonder"? i have leaves up for almost everything else - tarda, saxatilis, triumphs, etc, but not a peek from the Lilac (i)Wonder(where they are)s...

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

Oh, Amy, your pictures give me hope! I planted Chin's for the first time and some are poking their heads through the ground.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Amy, I will look tomorrow and see if my 'Lilac Wonder' are doing anything yet. I planted them 2 years ago and they bloomed on May 8th last year, but my bloom time will be later than yours as we start to get cooler than the mainland about now. I don't have Chionodoxa up yet, but I planted 'Giant Blue' and 'Alba' last fall. I hope they make an appearance. Yours are lovely. I have a nice patch of 'Pickwick' up this week. I just ordered more on a coop going on now for crocus, tulips and narcissus. Patti

Here is a strange Hellebore which is black. I bought it as 'ruse black' and it has not done much but I like it so far. Hellebore take time, so I hear. Patti

daisygrrl, Funny, it came from Adams Fairacre Farms in Poughkeepsie then it was briefly in Rhinebeck while we had a great dinner at Le Petit Bistro before driving back to VT last March then to Nantucket. It has put on some miles. I am hoping it thrives. Patti

Enjoying all of the blooms!! Some critter ate the blooms off of some of my crocuses!! :-( Eleanor

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Good morning all. Crocus eaters are usually squirrls or rabbits.
The country needs a sterilization program for both. LOL
What usefull purpose do either serve.
