Anyone else having a problem?

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

I don't think anyone's having trouble anymore--the problems were last week and over the weekend before Dave replaced the broken servers.

I didn't read thru all of the post here, but I am having problems loading pictures tonight. It is taking forever and sometimes times out and gives me an error message "webpage not avail.". Anyone else having the same problems tonight (20th or now 21st)?

It might be good to start another thread with this problem. The one that we were having was corrected quite a while ago now and many of the people who were watching this thread are probably no longer doing so (including me, the topic starter!). I just happened to notice that this thread was at the top of the forum and checked in.

Thanks. Will check the speed this morning and do that if it is still stalling out.

You're welcome. Glad to help. If your problem continues I don't want it to be ignored.

Uh oh, I haven't had any problems opening the Newsletter until 2008-04-20 - it just won't open at all. I didn't experience slowness of any kind in April. I tried opening the 2008-04-20 issue this morning and again this evening. I even checked my subscription expiration date (7/9/2008), but that's not the problem.

I had no problem opening it. Have you emptied your Temporary Internet Files lately? How about removing your cookies? Both of these will make your computer really slow and sometimes lock up.

I emptied all I could find in Firefox and AOL, rebooted my PC, and opened Davesgarden from each browser. There is no problem opening today's Newsletter (Dave's Garden Newsletter for April 22, 2008). However, I still cannot open the newsletter for April 20th or April 21st, so I don't think the problem was with my PC ( I reviewed the submitted plant files database for those days.) Yesterday, I also used the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of this page to inform the administrator of the problem and I think they pushed the right buttons to let me in.^_^

Great! One question, though: I don't know what newsletters you're getting that I'm not. I only get one newsletter once a week. Can you enlighten me? Thanks!

In the Extras tab Marilyn, under DG News. Both April 20th and the 21st are completely blank for me too.

There's only one that goes out on email, but there's a daily newsletter that you can find if you go to "extras" and then "DG news".

I don't usually look at the daily newsletters, but I just went and checked and get blank pages for 4/20 and 4/21 so I think probably something happened to those two. The 4/22 and 4/19 ones seem to be there though.

I went looking and found it just before you posted, but thanks! Now I have a related question for which I'll start a new thread.

Morning Liz and Marilyn! ^_^

Hi Sue! It's weird, you posted before I did but it didn't tell me there was a new message. At least we both said the same thing!

SF Bay Area, CA(Zone 9b)

Good morning, Sue! It didn't tell me either. Now maybe I've created yet ANOTHER problem? LOL!

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

Me either, oh oh, new thread!
