37 and raining pretty hard.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 15
It's cold.
There's about a half inch of icy, slushy snow all over everything.
The temp is right at 33 degrees.
It's raining ice balls ~ you know ~ those kind that look like artificial snow?
The IS the last day of Winter, right?
Supposedly!
*sigh*
35F and pouring!!
The snow is getting slushy and yucky, gonna have wet feet all day.
38 here, some grassy areas visible now.
Lucky you. I bet it looks really good, though, compared to what you have been seeing all winter.
Today--rain & cold.
44 and still raining. About 1 1/4" so far.

Temp 50.3°, Wind S 13.9 mph, Wchill 37.9°. ☺
Rain, rain, rain, fog, rain, rain, cold...
Is it Spring?
35 and dark out.

Inneresting-It's spring or at least the vernal equinox!
Rain from overnight has stopped for now, overcast and a dark dismal 37 degrees. Gusty winds later and maybe a peek of sun but not much more.
That was a very interesting link. Spring is extra special here since it's my only grandson's birthday. He's 2 years old today but here's a photo when he was 2 hours old and was my little Elvis. Now he's blonde as can be.
Raining now but bright out and 43 degrees with sunshine on schedule for this afternoon.

43, cloudy and very windy. Cute little guy, Pirl!
Oh--cute, Pirl--we have a little fellow due next month--he will join 2 sisters who will no doubt, spoil him. It's 40, very windy, cloudy. I awoke at 5 this morn & thought the house was way too chilly---no oil in the tank! I awoke our AUTOMATIC delivery man--he came in a half hour & I was afraid to complain as 1 oil co. here shut down without warning--1 friend had prepayed $4,000, & another $2,000. The att. gen. of CT says they MAY get some of it back, but not for a few years! Happy Spring!
44 and wind gusts in the 35 mph range. Sun is breaking out.
45 here and very windy. After all the rain, we start to worry about trees coming down on the power lines. At least we received less rain than they were predicting! I had visions of basement flooding again.
ROBINDOG, I think that's pretty scary about the oil company. You think you're secure by paying in advance (probably to secure a decent price) and then something terrible like that happens. I hope your friends get resolution.
33 degrees and windy here. Sun just peeked out.
We just had a furious snow squall a few minutes ago. 36 and windy.
Still overcast to mostly cloudy but the wind has picked up considerably. Very gusty now with 44 degrees. A stray shower or two late this afternoon but no heavy rain.
Awwww! I just love the doves! We've had a bunch eating under the feeders lately, too. I can't wait until it's breeding season because the cooing they make is so wonderful to listen to. We have cardinals that visit every morning first thing, and they are the last ones feeding at dusk. I noticed the gold finches are turning yellow! Yea! it's spring!
Anyway, it's 39 here and that wind is fierce. Supposed to blow into tomorrow.
Yes, I too, love their sounds. I have tons of them who come to 'sleep' in my Norway spruces.
As much as my husband likes them , he doesn't think they are the smartest birds. He calls them duh-ves. I think they're great!
I don't care for morning doves, but they do provide food for the hawks, so I suppose everything has it's purpose...
Temp 36.3° Wind WNW 19.3 mph, Wchill 15.5°. ☺
I like them but they are not the smartest birds. They get picked off here frequently too.
It is very windy early this am and we have high wind alerts from 10am to 8pm tonight. Sunny but cold, low 20s and the wind now around 20mph with stronger gusts. Later forecast to be between 30 and 45mph. This is spring? Not so much so far.
Pretty sunrise Pixie. I was glad to see the sun this am after so many grey gloomy days, its cold out but it looks warmer at least.
Yes, it looks warmer and even if you stay inside, it's much cheerier with the sun out. Too many gray days puts me in a gray mood!
Good morning, all. It's 32 degrees and breezy, but the sun is shining. My crabapple tree was filled with Cedar Waxwings when I went out to get the paper. They're so quiet that you wouldn't even know they're here!
seems those grey days get a lot of us Pixie... nice shot though
