So...I'm reading the paper today at work, and I run across an article on slavery. I was unaware of how wide-spread it is. I was flabbergasted! ☻

The slavery thing is going on now. I had somehow convinced myself it didn't exist very much any more. If you want to read the article, I can d-mail it to whomever wishes to read it.

The flower is something like the fifth one I've had since two weeks ago when the first one bloomed.

I sure do miss our mischief, but things have just been so much here lately I just haven't been up to it. :(

Had a bad visit with mom on Saturday. She just isn't a happy person anymore. She complains and everything hurts her. I feel so bad for her but, at the same time, I get angry at how she treats everyone. After two hours, I was exhausted. She won't ask for help, she just has someone call us and demands that the boys and I do it all for her. Sorry, I hadn't meant to vent but it needed to come out. I've spoken to my brothers about it but it's not the same as when I do it here.

Poor Sienna feels likes he can't win for losing when it comes to going to school. She is worried that they will cancel school tomorrow, and they just might if this hits.

I'm glad the sun is shining somewhere because it has been raining here for about the last 6 hours, literally. We did have a beautiful weekend, though. In high 60's on Saturday and up to 73 yesterday. SOOOOO nice! But now we are on the downside of the weather rollercoaster: 32º tonight and a high of 45º tomorrow. Bummer!!

just think of all the flowers you will have from all that rain Queen Mau!! we have had sunny skies and warm temps. all day today. supposed to get into the 70's tomorrow☺

Yes, the rain should be good for the flowers as long as they don't freeze tonight and tomorrow! My daffodils are about 4 inches tall right now and it is supposed to get down to freezing tonight. :o((

Hi Everyone. Miss Beckie just called and they are on their way to the hospital now. April was just admitted about 30 minutes ago and she was 6 CM dilated. So our little DG Angel will hopefully make an appearance VERY soon! Please pray for an easy delivery for momma and baby!!!!
