Ha ha - I did not notice that post!

though i can imagine, if he did make baskets, they probably would be over the top!

My DH used to make baskets. I think it was called Basketville? - some place in Vermont.

I went outside for about an hour - picked up branches and twigs, then cleaned leaves out of some of the stone wall. It was so nice!

Now I'm baking a Super Bowl cake. DD gets to decorate it!

scalloped potatos, NY strip steaks and a salad.

I was outside for more than three hours cleaning up and cutting back. It was heavenly.

That would be the dead Jose F. not the NYM guy. I didn't think about him when I posted. . too funny.

About two hours until kick-off!!!! I feel like I'm just trying to keep myself busy this afternoon - I can't wait!

I like all seafood. The best time I ever had in my life was in FL catching shrimp. It took no time to pull up a 5 gal. bucket.

I hate shrimp, unfortunately, because it looks soooo good! Every time I see it in a commercial my mouth waters.

Hey, have you noticed how all the men have abandoned us this afternoon? They must be doing their pre-game warm-ups! (Chilling the beer, making the salsa, etc.!)

Yeah - They are probably sitting in the best seat.

We are going to a friends for the game and I already told DH that I want to be there early enough for a good seat. And if there is too much talking over the game I'm sitting on the floor in front of the TV!

DH - don't even want to watch it as he hates it. He can go into the bedroom and have that tiny TV to himself. I can have the new LCD tv for myself.

i predict that i will continue to have absolutely no interest in football, and that unfortunately i am not going to have time to go to a movie on a night when no one else will be there because DH is on an earlier than expected train.

You go to movies ALL BY YOURSELF? I think that might freak me out a little.

why? i go to a LOT of things by myself. it's not like i'm gonna chat with whoever i am with at a movie anyway...

or if you mean like an empty theatre - yeah, it's kinda lame for a comedy, but a drama it doesn't matter much. And there are almost always SOME other people there...

I guess it's being alone in a theatre,,,,, I do a lot of things by myself too, and wish I could do MORE things by myself. I used to go out to eat by myself (when i was in high school) it was fun. x, Carrie

The freakiest all alone thing was at this amusement park in Cave City, KY. Every time i had been in that region, it was closed for the season, but finally, on my way back to TN, it was open.
i LOVE ferris wheels, and this place has one that is on the side of a big hill - small mountain. Great big ol' white ferris wheel you could see from the highway. i always dreamed of getting to ride it.
So i went up there - and the park (and it was a very small amusement park, with rides that all look like they'd seen better days) had only 3 or 4 families in it.
i bought my ticket, and the guy ran the ferris wheel for me. ONLY me.
THAT was weird.
But REALLY cool, and the view was amazing!

Giant D is looking real good. I expect the Pats to come out with a big drive in the 2nd half.

Giants lead in everything except the scoreboard.

Any, that sounds really cool!!! I used to love Ferris wheels too.

My DH just called me from the game....couldn't even hear him......just a dull roar....thank goodness for caller ID! Hopefully he'll remember he can "text" if he has anything he wants to tell me....

Incredible game! Giant D was the diff, but Manning did when it counted and what a circus catch by Tyree. Amazing!
