Canandaigua Lake is part of the Finger Lakes in N.Y. I believe. My brother lived in Ithica for 12 yrs and I remember him mentioning it.

I may actually get to come to this one if it's in June!!

ah, we have gorgeous places around... one is Garden in the Woods not far from my house- but in terms of big garden centers we would have to maybe go to Weston Nurseries (Hopkinton) Mahoney's or Russells in Wayland (this last one is really something... I go there and get lost every time... oh their stuff is really something to see... not so far from Laura's house... and there is also Windlo in Natick - also gorgeous...
another place to visit is Elm Bank - oh that is the headquarters of the MA Horticulture Society - I love that place... oh you daylily lovers would love the daylily gardens... I run away from there before I became additcted!

so we can choose where to go... we could meet in my house for food or plant swapp and go to one of these places or we could do like last fall... I am open to suggestions... I just want to SEE you guys again!!!!

I am really only interested in meeting everyone and have no great interest in doing any shopping. I have to make sure we have nothing planned that weekend (first weekend of summer vacation for the kids) but it does not ring any bells.

Just found this thread--for some reason I missed it--and I'd love to go to Kassia's on June 28. It's only about 2 hours from me, no biggie.

I don't want to buy any more plants either... the thing is I don't have any plants to give away so what I may do is just get plugs at Green Mountain Transplant when I visit there in May!

I'm free and I can come. I can drive Cat and Victor, although I feel sheepish about it now, cause I volunteered to be the driver for the Boston show, and now I can't make it.

Er, are Thom and Paul coming? Don't they need to dig up some old stuff to make way for all the new stuff Thom bought? (Hint, hint.)

I will put it on June 28 on my calendar now - maybe it will help if I get it on there first.

I think I can pop up from the Island and bring some goodies to share, if the weather cooperates. It would be fun to see all of you in the flesh. I would love to go to Garden in the Woods again, it has been too long. . I doubt that I will bring DH, but maybe I can convince him that you all aren't Cyberwhacho's, well, except Victor, who my DH is very suspecious of now that I have him dutifully caring for a Jade now dubbed, "The Victor Jade". But he does love G.I.T.W. so maybe I can convince him to come.

I went to Mahoney's the other day after spending too many hours at Mass General just to clear my head. Not to inspirational, and the many of the plants in the greenhouse were in lousy shape. But to be fair they are just cranking up for the season and seemed to be more concerned about setting up all the non plant stuff rather than watering the plants. We bought a succulant house plant for my BIL as we were staying with him. No bargains or must have's for me. That doesn't happen often. Patti

Kassia - my DH and I hope to be able to come. We will be coming to that area for a different reason and will try to combine the trip in order to make it. I can't wait to meet you all in person and to see your lovely roses! How exciting!!
