Stop and visit, talk all you want. pt 10

Hey! There's stuff I don't share, either. Like...I can't think right now. Stuff.

Bureau County, IL(Zone 5a)

You can't think? Oh my, wish we could trade heads....

(Zone 7a)

I do have a scorer. Somewhere. I have a few days off next week. I'll try again. And your house is fabulous!

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

Celia, Terry (not "our" Terry--the one who is part of DG's Administration) lives in Zone 7A. She is starting a bunch of plants from seed and coleus is on her list. I know she is not in your zone but you might dmail her and ask her about the coleus.

Well, I guess I am really showing my age because I love wallpaper and borders. Don't have any in this house except a border in the master bedroom. We put it up ourselves. I know wallpaper is not "in" right now, but it's my house and I like it--so there!!! In fact I like it so much, I am going to post a photo of my border!! LOL

LOL you two! I can't use my short cuts either and I am having withdrawal symptoms! HA HA

(Zone 7a)

LOL Terry! There's an Irish band that has a song called "We Have No Heads". That minded me of that song!

Bureau County, IL(Zone 5a)

ah shucks, thank you! It's been a lot of hard work, but one done out of love. I sometimes swear I hear this old girl sigh and say thank you when I'm starting on a job.....lol...then again, I am a little wacky....

(Zone 7a)

Mau, I like it. The pic above the bed is pretty, too.

(Zone 7a)

LOL Again, Terry!

(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the tip, Mau. I'll look "Terry" up.

Bureau County, IL(Zone 5a)

Mau, if I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times "If you love something, then it's NOT out of style". Live by that rule and you and yours will always be happy.

Celia, you and me girl, you and me!

Tammy, I like it much better really, when everything isn't shortened. It just looks better to my tired old eyes.

(Zone 7a)

Okay. Who's for some lunch? Who's having what?

And I agree, Terry.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

But I still miss them! LOL

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Celia--glad you like it. :o))
I do try to keep up with the latest trends in most things but when it comes to wallpaper, I like it and I will probably always like it. However, that is not to say that I like ALL of it--I like elegant, beautiful patterns--not anything "cutesy" and I absolutely HATE flocked wallpaper. I don't think they make it any more, thank goodness.

I'm hungry--think I'll go warm up beef stew from yesterday. Come on over and have lunch with me!! Pau is out and about today and I need some company!

(Zone 7a)

Oh, that sounds like heaven! I just pulled out a bag of chips!

Isabella, MO(Zone 6b)

Chips and beef stew--now there's a combo! If I am gong to eat chips, I want cheese dip, too!

Bureau County, IL(Zone 5a)

Back in the late 60's when my parents built their very first house, we had wallpaper. The one I liked, but only because I loved to run my hand over it, was the one that had velvet paisley things on it. Tone on tone, gold. In the foyer. The drapes in the formal living room matches, except not velvet, the paisley was silk. We were so uptown, weren't we? LOL

(Zone 7a)

Yes, Mau. I like the scheese dip, too. These are Sweet Maui Onion chips, though.

Terry, it sounds like a tactile (sp?) dream. I loke running my hands along soft hings. I do it at work on the items for sale.

(Zone 7a)

Anyone see this...?

Hey Celia, I forgot that someone had mentioned a new post by Terry, or someone from Administration, about not letting threads get longer than 100 posts They said it is interfering with the server or something like that.

(Zone 7a)

Oh! I should start a new one then. Follow us...
