On the brugs Xeriscape told me that it was up to him but that he would let me name one of the brugs if it came to it. Since I'm the seedling mama. Don't know how daylilies are done. And I have a bunch but will have to see how I do at getting them to germinate.

College Station Spring Roundup-TRADES
I soaked mine in hydrogen peroxide mixed with water. After the sprouted, I put them in dirt. If they all sprout, I'm going to have about 70 daylilies!
Ceejay - I'm delighted to be able to obtain a red-leaf crinum....seedling is perfectly fine for me...I love watchin' them grow! I have numerous babies
started from seed and really enjoy it! Thanks SOOO much! Lee
Lee, could I have some seed of Asclepias tuberosa, Please?
I have started to post some of my seeds on the second post from the top, see if there is something you need there.
You are very welcome, Lee. Enthusiasm for a beloved plant is quite enough thanks!
Anna! So good to see you. Are you coming to the RU?
Lee, I would love to have some of your Narcissus x odorus - ("Campernelle" Jonquil).
Josephine - absolutely...I may also have a small plant for you by then...I thought I remember you saying that you had a rough leaf dogwood before,...I started to ask if you needed another for any reason....I'll look at your list and let you know! Thanks Jo!
I've got you down Ceejay for the Jonquils!
Gotta go...workin' today! Lee
Thanks, Lee!!
Oh, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood, won't you be mine? :-D
Think I'll check out the gardens.
I am still waiting to see when a yearly Florida trip will be before I commit. I will make either the RU or the Waxahachie get together. I find it hard to imagine dividing or propagating in the middle of winter. You guys are more hardcore!
bananna - I haven't divided yet. I just know what I WILL be dividing, or potting up. Too cold!
banana, I am not dividing right now, but I did divide in the fall and potted up some divisions that are fine to trade in the spring. I am still propagating though, it has gotten in my blood. LOL My house is a plant zoo. DH is trying (keyword: trying) to be patient with it, but there isn't a window without a shelf of plants in front of it and both bathtubs are full of plants. Of course, we usually just shower anyway,so that shouldn't bother him too much. Now, I am starting seeds and wondering where in the world will I plant so many things. I will be brings some seedlings to the trade I am sure.
Charlene
I'm not dividing right now either. Have a few things that I started inside in November, and a couple of things that were still green that I could get cuttings from (crossing fingers they'll root this time of year). Anything else I can add is pure FAITH that they will come back in March!
I've got seedlings coming out my ears! lol.... I will have plenty to share but want to make sure of what will be strong enough by then before I go listing them all. I have 4 flats in the house under lights, and 14 winter sow containers outside. I also have a bunch of zinnias and cosmos yet to start, I tried winter sowing the cosmos but the last cold spell zapped them. Funny, the cold spell didn't kill anything else that was up. So I will be starting them in a couple weeks along with my cucumbers, melons, and such. If I plant veggies in the ground my birds seem to think it is a smorgasboard. I am especially proud of my first success germinating cleome, got tons of white cleome seedlings out there. None of the other packets I planted came up yet, older packets though but crossing fingers. I can't wait for spring!
Bravo for your propagation efforts. I got as far as buying all the ingredients (except chick grit) for the roses, I have some seed packets with good intentions but nothing else. I get easily distracted with other "projects", especially when it is cold out!
ceejay,
My byzantines are just starting to show a little green poking up thru the mulch. They're usually later than most of my other spring bulbs, so I'm not sure I would worry yet.

Thanks, Dawn. I'm a little further south, and some are up pretty far, but only a few of what should be at the very least a dozen. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Aren't you coming to the RU?
If yours don't come up, let me know. I'm sure I can get you a few more. ☺
I am planning on making it to the RU, thanks for asking. Looking forward to seing you again. I haven't posted much because I've been pretty busy, and haven't really looked around to see what I'll have to trade yet. I've got camping with the scouts this weekend, so it may be the week after that before I post a trade list.
Great!! I look forward to seeing you. And thanks for the Byzantine offer. I may take you up on it.
I added somethings to my list today.
Charlene, I noticed you would like some pink dwarf ruellia. I have pink Katie's Ruellia if that's what you mean, and I'm sure I could spare some.
Mary Lee....could I have a brazilian plume? Mine didn't make it.
Yes you can Kim. Sorry yours didn't live. I have some left from last year.
It would have been fine if the lawn people hadn't whacked it with the weedeater. :)
Ouch! I need to go check mine. It had grown quite a lot, so I'm sure it must be OK. No weedeaters allowed in the flower bed.
Kim - If you have one left, I would love a passiflora incense...
Gotcha down ceejay!
Wonderful!! Thank you!
Ceejaytown, Thanks, but I already have the purple. It is the pink that I am hunting. Do you have the tall ones? I have some of those also. They are one of my favs. Some people find them a bit invasive, much more so than the dwarf ones. I really love the tall ones. The stems are burgandy and they bloom heavily.
Charlene
I have the pink Katie's ruellia. No tall ones. No purple.
Wow - such good trades going - and I have no time to get mine listed!
I will likely have some tomato plants. I started them for the Houston area on Jan. 6 and they are about 3" tall already and transplanted once. I have some heirlooms and some hybrids. Will post them and other trades when my life calms down a little. I can start some more for those in the northern zones if you're interested.
Well, book, just look and see what YOU want. You can always list later - or not at all. Bringing something is not a necessity. Taking something home with you is. Is there anything from my list that you would like?
Bookworm, I might be interested in some of your tomatoes. What kind are you planting? And CJ's right, you can shop now and list later.:)
Charlene, I have the white and purple tall ones.
Anne
Thanks Ceejay - I've gone to 2 RU's and have gone home both times with so many wonderful plants - and many friendships, for sure. I'll go check your lists for sure.
I've planted a number of hybrids and heirlooms - let's see if I can remember:
Bush Celebrity
BHN 444
Eva Purple Ball
Stupice
Sun Gold
Lime Green Salad
Aunt Gertie's Gold
Noir de Cremme
not yet started but should be ok because they are so tough: Black Cherry
Silverflutter - when is your estimated last freeze date in Fredericksburg - I could also start some more as these are timed a bit earlier for Houston. I get a kick out of starting tomatoes! But a bigger kick when they produce and I get to eat them :)
Bookworm I can't remember the last freeze date. How do you find that? I was reading my Seeds of Change catalogue and thinking what would I order if I could start these things. I get so confused when I read the descriptions because they write all of them with the same goal in mind - "buy me".lol Matt's Wild Cherry tomato was the one I had last year that was so good. It was just the right size for a bite and the flavor was awesome. What would you want in trade? I'm adding alamanda, scutelleria longifolia, and gold flame honeysuckle to my list.
Aunt anne, I would love some of the white tall ones.
Ceejay, what color is the Katie's?
Does anyone need any of my Short purple Mexican petunias or my tall ones? I have just a few I can share as I just snatched them in the late summer and they haven't had a chance as yet to get planted out to multiply. I still have them inside so I could be sure to have survivors. I didn't know the name of them until I found out when I wasn't even looking for them.
Sylvia, do you still want that Kimberley sword fern? I still want the hosta.lol
Willis, I tried to find your Honey bee blue agastache in PF and couldn't. Would it grow here? What does it need? And could I have some of your Turks cap please? Can I bring something for you?
