College Station Spring Roundup-TRADES

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Sharon, just read some of our posts. We post our haves and our wants. We bring our trades that we arrange here plus we usually bring other things that we trade on sight. We trade, plants, cuttings and seeds.

If you are looking for something, but haven't wanted to pay retail, someone may have rooted some extras. Then you can offer something that person or someone else may be wanting. We may give three things to one person and they don't have anything we need. Someone else may have something that we want and we may trade evenly or may not have anything to offer. It all works out. Everyone leaves happy with plenty of goodies.

As it gets closer to time for the RU there will be lots of new things posted as some of us are planting seeds and rooting cuttings that we hesitate to offer until we are certain of their success.

If you don't have anything to offer, just bring a smile. You will leave with lots of goodies and you will have met new friends.

Anyone have any coreopsis Moonbeam? I see coreopsis in our local stores, but I don't know which variety they are. I've read good things about this variety. If you have seeds, I'd appreciate some.

Thanks.

I have seeds, Jo, and will bring you some. I love Moonbeam--it's my favorite coreopsis and my healthiest.

Thank you! If you have any extra seedlings, I'll take those, too! LOL

Truly, I'm grateful for the seeds. I've spent so much trying to get my garden going this year....

No, don't think I have any seedLINGS. My Moonbeam is in a bed with heavy mulch and pretty heavy clay soil underneath. But if I do see any, I'll be glad to bring them too.

Boy, I wish I knew what to do to grow it here. I have tried many times, and failed each time.

I don't if everybody is watching the other trade thread, so I'll make this post here too. What I thought was gold flame honeysuckle has turned out to be not gold at all. It's very pink. I can't remember who wanted it, but I hope pink is OK. I took a picture and if DH will put it on the computer, I'll post it.:)

When do we do the fall meeting?
I have a few zephyranthes I need to spread!

Bob...I posted a thread to see if there was any interest in a fall RU but with all the others that are scheduled I don't think we will be having one.
