I think he has a love affair going with this old jeep.
Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor - do over?
Many men relate better to their cars than to their wives.
Victor likes gardening, the Mets, and Broadway shows. Thus proving he is a figment of my imagination...
How do you feel about bluegrass and/or folk ♫, Victor?
Oops - can't win them all! Jazz, popular standards, 60's - 80's stuff, classical, and more. Eclectic tastes in music, but my favorites are probably standards (including big band, swing and vocals) and 70's, which I grew up with.
aww...
perhaps you are a figment of our collective imaginations then, and not just mine!
Actually, I'm a collection of figs and mints.
Maybe more of a fragment than a figment?
Come to think of it, Gloria, there are a few people who I wish were just figments of my imagination.
I know what you mean. Ive known some gentlemen of that ilk.
(i've dated a few.)
Raccoon update: I called a "friendly" animal trapper today, and he came and set up a "safe" trap for the preggo raccoon. He put 2 traps under the floor and told me to check them around 3:00 p.m. and to call him if we'd caught them.
Sure enough, we got both mom- to- be, and dad...(you're now off the hook, Victor ! ). needless to say, they were NOT happy about being in those cages.
The guy insisted they don't kill them, but I wanted to be sure, so I told him I was going to follow him and watch him release them...which he wasn't to keen on, but too bad !
We went up into the hills and he opened the traps, and off they went.
I stuck around, and after he was out of sight, I put out an opened 5 lb. bag of dry cat food, hidden under a drain pipe...didn't want them to be in a strange place with no food !
This escapade cost me $163.00 YIKES !!!
Ouch! Maybe they'll name the baby Jasper?
I wonder how many babies the coons will have?
You're a very kind hearted guy, JD.
Nothing worse than ilky guys.
Al, I appreciate your resolve line! And the Lionel Ritchie line. You're smokin' tonight. Not sure what, though.
Maybe ONE of them, anyway...I guess I'll never know! One of them should rightfully be named Rocky...like in the Beatle's song Rocky Raccoon.
OT here..it was 75* here today and beautiful !
Now back to figs, mints and peanut butter...
Don't forget anchovies: they're not just for breakfast anymore.
That sounds real nice! Maybe another one can be McGill, but you can call her Lil.
Smokin' Joes?
Reminds me of this baitshop we would go to called "Joe's", except that painted on the wooden sign above it was'open' - so I always called it OpenJoe's
From what I read, they have between 3 and 7 in a litter...but 4 is pretty typical.
Thanks, pirl...I couldn't bear the thought of them killing the poor things.
My home town had one named: Master Bait & Tackle
Master Tackle - that's funny!
You're baiting me!
I just got that in an email today too!
This was real. Right on Main St. Very cheesy
and I'd be just the one to take the whole thing hook, line, and sinker .
This was a picture of a sign, so I believe you!
They sell cheese there - sounds interesting.
Spoken from a cheesehead?
Wait - my head's cheese too, I might be able to get by without parts of it.
Al, do you have one of those cheeseheads and do you wear it when you watch the Packers?
No I don't. I could hook you up though.
I'll pass, thanks.
Good move, Victor.
I will be rooting for Favre this weekend.
Me too. Like to see him with another ring.
Going to be cold is the forecast - single digits.
