Things are kinda quite here on Dg I take most are sleeping at this time. (I know I usually am)

It usually is this time of night, which is when I try to catch up, but never seem to be able to! Too tired now to try and read too much, so just go and skim and lurk on some that seem interesting. It is 1:21 am here, so I know I should be in bed!

12:23 here. My dh and I just got back from picking up our teenager from the movies and my youngst is severly sick. it is going to be a lonnnnng night!!

Awe poor baby, hope all is better soon! Didn't you just have a sick one not long ago?

Yep an ear infection earlier this week. This one has a sore throat, high fever and now has a lip full of fever blisters.

Oh my goodness, and this is your baby, right? My 13 year old had some fever blisters a few weeks back and he just couldn't hardly stand it. My DH gets them, but I rarely ever do, thank goodness! Hope you can keep the fever down and get that sore throat gone, too!

Me too. I will be a walking zombie tomorrow or is that later today.

Sorry to have to tell you that is later today! :( I can sleep late since Sienna is a late sleeper, but my son loves to stomp up and down the stairs and always wakes me up!

Forgot to say your puppies are way too cute!! Sleep late ?? I wish my eyes will pop open at 5:00am!!

Almost forgot I had posted them after everything else! Thanks!!! OMG, 5 am would just kill me!!!!!!!!! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW way too early! LOL

Yep but it is my time to get up and get ready to leave for work at 5:45 (no I do not wear make up and I just put my hair in a pony) takes me about an hour to get to work!! we were out looking at puppies and pheasants and peacocks and pigs and what ever else we could find today. I think I am going to be getting an avery soon!!

Thank goodness I am not working right now since I have gotten in to the obsession! LOL I plan on finding something part time when Sienna starts school, but I still have till Mid August! LOL I RARELY wear makeup or fix my hair, but when it was really long I always used a clippy to keep it out of my way. I whacked it all off cause I thought it was causing my headaches, but wouldn't ya know it wasn't! So now I am going through all the pain of letting it grow again, YUK!
So, what is an avery?

A large or I guess it could be small enclosure for birds. Oh and I spelled it wrong it is an aviary. Ok I am going to sleep my little guy is now sleeping. Night night!!
Glad to know I am not the only one who does not do hair and I would be in so much trouble if I did not work. Gardening would require a second mortgage!!

Oh ok, thanks for the clarification! LOL I was just getting ready to say nighty night myself. Gotta carry Sis to bed and get myself there, too. Shaun got me in to gardening, so I always remind him it is his fault! HA HA HA

Tammy and Marie--you two were "night owls" last night! LOL I am sure Tammy is still sleepy but it sounded like Marie had to get up and go to work early this morning--or maybe she just works during the week and can sleep in this morning.
Anyway, Tammy, I just wanted to say how cute those puppies are. They are certainly being well fed by their momma--those fat tummies are so cute!

My BFF and her granddaughter are coming up after church today and we are going to celebrate her granddaughter's 13th birthday. My granddaughter (age 14) will be here, too.
Our granddaughters have been friends since they were babies and we get together with them several times a year. We would get together more often, except they live 35 miles from here and school activities, etc., keep us from seeing each other as often as we would like.

Tuxedo is WAY too fat, he eats constantly! But he is walking a lot better than Teensy. They are already starting to 'play fight' and it is so cute!

I am so tired and although I slept until 6:00am which is past my normal 5 am wake up time I am exhausted. my little guys mouth and tongue are covered in blisters!! He is so cranky (understandably so)

Hi, everybody!!! Waving frantically from Oregon. The flight was nightmare or a blessing, depending on your point of view. Bumpy going out and bumpy going in. A baby cried the WHOLE hour and a half. Bad because it was annoying; good because it kept me distracted.

We had the viewing this morning. Dad looked very good. He will be cremated on Wednesday. We are having a VERY small gathering and military honors. But not the full honors. Dad didn't want much. So we're getting the flag and having some words said.

Dad was Navy and kept all his papers and tags. He served on two ships; the Kenton and the Golden City. He was an Electricians Mate. Finding more and more by the minute. He had a more interesting life than we thought.

Have to run. More to do. We cleaned out his room at the Rretirement home and are dividing things. Pictures are the biggest arguement! LOL Who gets what? Too much fun going through them.

So glad I can at least make you laugh girlfriend! Nice pic, and I hope you and your siblings can work things out with what you have to go through! Tell them that you will make duplicates for each of them, then you can all have pics. :)

I was about to suggest that those old photos can always be scanned and then reproduced, Celia, but Tammy beat me to it when she said you could make duplicates. No need for the siblings to argue about who gets which ones--you can all have one of each if you like. That was a good picture of your dad and nephew and niece. I agree with Marcy that you look like your dad.

Sorry that the baby is having a hard time with those blisters in his mouth., Marie. I hope he is better by now. Thanks for the wish for a good day with my granddaughter and friends. I'm posting a picture of the girls acting silly. They were imitating Pa Buddy(my DH). He has a mustache and he loves chocolate covered cherries so they put on his cap and coat and pulled their hair around under their noses and held up the tin of cherries they gave him for his birthday (It's in 2 weeks--they gave it to him early).

Yep, he does and I do, too. Geah, the dark-haired one, is being raised by her grandmother, my BFF. Her own mother is a spaced-out druggie, unfortunately, but I think I may have mentioned that somewhere in one of the posts above. Her father was out of the picture for several years but he has recently come back into her life and sees her as much as he is able but he lives about 150 miles away. At least he is paying my BFF child support now, which is good.

Mau I think that is great of you and Pa! Shaun's Mom treats my boys just like they are hers, and it is so special, to me and to them! I know all too well about jerk father's/mother's, as my boys have one, with an even worse step mother! (I shudder to even have to use that word for her!!!) Hopefully the mother will clean up her act one day and become a part of her daughter's life. It is too precious to miss out on something like that! It is good that the father has stepped in and doing what he can at least. We have grand babies about 5 houses up the street that we never get to see. The baby girl born on August 5th that we have never seen. :(

Well, Tammy, you are much too young to be a grandmother so I was surprised that you said you had grandbabies--must be Shaun's? I know exactly what you are going through in not being able to see your grandchildren because DH and I have a couple that we haven't seen in several years. :o(((

Yes, they are his, but mine in the same sense of the word. Holy Crap! I had to stop mid sentence because I had to call Shaun and wish him a belated Anniversary! OMG, it was yesterday and we BOTH forgot! Shameful!!! We are not married, but still an anniversary all the same. Anyway, where was I? LOL Oh ya, I was able to be there for the delivery of Amber's first born, Bastion, and I was his Mema, but have never even seen a pic of Scarlet. :( Her SO is a pinhead and a pothead, and god knows what else, and is worthless! Isn't it just so sad that these things have to happen???!!! Especially since ours are just right up the street from us! Sad thing is, that if we had anything to offer in ways of helping them out, they would be on our door step in a heart beat!

I certainly can relate to that, Tammy--about them being on your doorstep if you had anything to offer them. It seems that all some of them want is a hand-out and this is one "old lady" that is through with the hand-outs--from now on the dead-beats can help themselves. DH and I have learned our lesson well and if it was to do over, there wouldn't be any hand-outs at all because it serves no purpose other than to enable the deadbeats in their behavior. Well, enough of that.

Congratulations on your "anniversary". DH and I will celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary on Feb. 25th. (It's the second marriage for both of us.)

I'm heading off to bed--up way past my bedtime!
