It's early morning..nothing is moving yet in my world (except the water coming down my street and luckily into the culvert at the end of my drive or I'd be flooded..sounds like I'm living next to Niagara Falls) it's warm outside..imagine, yesterday they said we had weather warmer than in California..what a screwed up season..we had more snow in Dec. than all of last year and year before..by the time this week ends, I doubt there will be much left other than snowbanks..

I'm going to sit/relax and have a coffee waiting to hear if Suzanne is well enough to go to the city...

Put my nice new throw on the chesterfield and there was a hole in it, so back to exchange it today..think I'll change the color as well..something more dramatic...

Carol, hope the repairs on the car are minor..Laura what have you been up to, you are awfully quiet and that worries me..come on girl..need you to gab..

Jeannine, not a young guy - I'd have to entertain him..want someone who has mega hobbies so that we can just meet periodically so it wouldn't change my lifestyle..lol...

Cathy nice to see you drop in..we've missed you as well...hey Ruby-where are you????

Gita, better access the site that Jeannine listed..imagine having that much information available about yourself out there..no wonder there is identify theft..guess that progress though..

I so tried to stay awake to watch the 1st show of the series called "Border" but fell asleep..

Better go make myself beautiful, feed the 'furries' and enjoy some of this early morning quiet..

Victoria Harbour, ON

Liz, here is my new Santa..with tax he'd be close to $50.00 and I got him for $8.00...boxing him up..oh well, I'll enjoy next year...

hi there,

I have been reading, just not posting much. Been through a rough patch but coming good. poor you betty, you have had a rough time.
gosh i wish i could meet you all!
oh come on! you can all come to a roundup down under cant ya? huh? huh?
come and play at my house!

Dh had crocodile the other day and convinced me to try a little. So, with a screwed up nose and much suspicion( not spelt correctly) I tried it, texture of a cross between crayfish and chicken. Mild taste, white meat very, very mild fish/crayfish i think and maybe a little chicken inthere. couldnt get into tho knowing what it was. not brave like that! lol DH loved it tho. He is a billy goat, he will eat anything!

daughter (youngest) arranged for my new dishwasher today on interest free which is good and DH an LCD computer screen. Its huge!! 22" which is huge on the desk so I dont need my glasses to read and write to you all! lol nice colour and brightness too.
Got 25 months interest free so should be able to manage that.

Dh cooked spagetti for dinner and relaxed tonight. thats pretty much it..

hope your all well

hugs

Victoria Harbour, ON

You should be in bed Laura...wow, eating croc...yuk/yuk I'm with you, not very adventurous when it comes to food..you are getting spoilt Laura..new dishwasher..I could do without a lot in the house but NOT without the dishwasher...one day I'll have to invest in a new screen as well..this bulky on is fine but must move with the times right...

Just spent 10 minutes out trying to coax Missy into coming inside..wouldn't so thought it's not that cold let her stay out..well, I came inside and there was Missy..know when she picked 'me' to be her provider she was from a stray batch so perhaps it's one of her sibblings...better not encourage it to visit! lo. cost me mega $$$ when I do that...

Suzanne just called, she's not feeling the best but says she's going in..just put out my garbage, my goodness it's spring..I got so excited to see my flower gardens again..snow is all gone except for the banks..just teasing us but won't be long we'll be out there gardening..have to start searching the web for new ideas..got my stained glass book out last night and there were so many garden art items that would use up

Must go...calling for mega rain and dense fog..who knows might get to leave early again...

Hi Liz, no Van Halen isn't my fav although I like most classic rock bands from the 70s/80s. Hearing their music brings back so many memories of my teens/early 20's. The only bands I reall never got into were Pink Floyd & The Who. If I had my druthers, I'd choose to sit at a Jimmy Buffett concert and take a 2 hr "vacation" with him! DH is into all of the classic rock and loves to crank the loud stuff. Of course DS is now into Van Halen and lays on the floor writhing around like he's playing the guitar on stage. It's quite entertaining!

Well, back to work. Going to be busy this week.

Ciao!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Just got into the office..fog patches but got here on time..drove to Suzanne's and Lenny was outside waiting for me, said Suzanne was vomiting and she wasn't coming in..I called Paul but he was already 1/2 way, called the girls and they didn't answer cel..I got about 3/4 the way when they realized there was a call on their cel...I was too close to the city to bother..so, they said that if weather is heavy rains and fog they'd drive me home tonight and pick me up in the morning..lordy I feel old sometimes..Paul told them to make sure yesterday they followed me home..so cute..feel like a child at time that has to be looked after on the way to school..

Thanks Liz..Bill was a kind soul..must tell you a story..after Roger died when I built my craft room the underneath was an extended multi use area..did the room ceramic tile, put an 8man hot tub in it..a lady of leisure..anyway one day I was off and decided to strip myself, glass in hand and enjoy time in the hot tub..always put my clothing on the far corner of the room..set the telephone nearby incase I had work related calls..almost as soon as I got in the tub and put the jets on I heard a pop, somehow one of the lines had burst and water was sprouting out like crazy..now I just had the ceramic tile done and new rug in adjoining room done so couldn't afford a flood..so here like the little boy in Holland and the dyke, I'm standing in my birthday suit, plugging the hole as best I can..now what..called for to have someone come to help me out..only person available is Bill..girls in office kept teasing him..said he must dress me up before fixing the hot tub..he arrived..face as red as a beat, eyes closed (I hope) me telling him how many steps and in what direction he was to go in order to get my clothes so I could dress...just too funny...all good memories...

Colin just came in for a meeting..he's the lawyer who said he'd sent the 'other' Bill a letter with regards to all the money that is due to me...said for me to remind him daily..letter is 1/2 written and he'll get it out..worth another try...

Victoria Harbour, ON

We cross-posted Jeannine..how are you liking the new job????

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

Well..first off..welcome back Judy!

Hi Laura..sometimes I just read the posts too and don't have a lot to say..it was interesting to read about eating crocodile.

Liz..the rhubarb would like sun I would think..it can grow to about two feet wide..easily divided too if it gets too big for your space. My neighbour grows it and gives me some when I want it. With this warm weather we are having I am starting to dream about gardening..LOL..but I know this is just temporary.

Betty..your hot tub story is so cute..I can see it all happening in my mind..LOL

I sure hope you get your money back from ex-Bill. Sounds like you were way too generous with him..but when you love someone you can be blinded..

No call about my car yet..

Gardengirl..your talk about music brings back memories..I liked Pink Floyd way back. My brother is a big Jimmy Buffet fan.

Have a great day.
Cheers,
Carol

Victoria Harbour, ON

Love the music as well..if I thought for one moment Bill needed the money, I'd say keep it..but know he does well with his construction firm and if you looked at the house he built next door to ours, you'd see he was not hurting..1/2 of me says 'let it go' the other half says 'but it was my money' and just maybe I could put in a pool...and more gardens...AND visit you my friends...

Richmond, VA(Zone 7a)

Betty, love my new job! Great people!

Victoria Harbour, ON

I'm glad Jeannine..you so wanted to be back working there..

All the bad news of the past two weeks must be getting to me this morning..sitting here crying at my desk..was rejected from participating on a group..not that it bothered me or that it's any big deal, the other day when told I simply shluffed it off, but with everything happening it's brought rejection to the surface and has made me sad..so stupid, here there is an office full of men in a meeting..I'm getting them coffee and I'm wipping tears...funny how these little things get to you...

Victoria Harbour, ON

Just checked in on some of my other groups and had an answer with regards to the windchime made out of beads, left over pieces of stained glass and ice-cream sundae glasses...she's trying to post a photo..let's hope I can get the photo..they'll be so much fun to do..Mother's Day is coming as well as a few birthdays..great gift idea..

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

oh etty, i know what you mean.
it will pass.. im not sure we ever get passed it, every now and then rejection nips at our heels, we are human!
just rememeber how much you ae loved here!
we wouldnt have you any other way and be lost without you!

and so say all of us!!!!

Good Afternoon Everyone!
...Ahhhh, so good to be home. Thanks for the nice welcome back.

Oh goodness, took me better part of the evening to catch up!
This morning tried to recall what I read and guess what? Not really with it on the memory with so much going on...You all have been busy!

So, will tell you I sure enjoyed the photos! You know me love seeing them.
Was good to see our young one's my, how they are growing!

LOL, Liz-we are still laughing about our bet too! So..for everyone a funny story.
We were having lunch at a really comfy place. They were playing some really cool music, oldies. So we sat singing along. Well now, the song Our House began playing…
Humming it as I type…Our House is a very, very fine house, with two cats in the yard…
Life used to so hard, now everything is easy because of you…la, la,lalala…-remember that one? Anyways, DH says who is this? Had to stop and think, when we played this so many times, Dunno but Moody Blues popped into my head and couldn’t think of anyone else…Of course DH disagreed and Said no it’s Crosby Still & Nash, LOL we argued over it, all in fun of course, asked the waiter who was like 21 so he didn’t know. He asked the Bartender who though it was James Taylor! Asked another lady who was singing along too…can’t remember who she guessed, but we continued and insisting our suggested artists…well me and my mouth bet DH 10 bucks it was Moody Blues, right there in front of the kids…they were laughing at the silliness of it all. Later that day, Tried making a post, but –the computer just wouldn’t take, so in my frustration gave a call to Liz. I just knew she would agree with me, Boohoo, she didn’t. As we laughed over this bet her DH got on the computer and looked it up…and ARGHHH, it was CS&N!!! So had to Cough up the 10 big ones, hahaha, said it’s ok you’ll be giving it right back when I need a buck or two! The kids were rolling and so were all of us! So…glad to keep you chuckling Kenny…ehhem, Gloating, now is that a “Manly” thing??!! Hehehe, today at work-asked our resident jukebox and immediately said CS&N too and filled me in on the Our House by…tadumdum Madness!

I am enclosing one of the Best sights I have seen! This is called the Love Tree.
It’s a Palm tree growing right out of a Laurel Maple!! Just incredible.

So here I am sitting at work…ho-hum. It’s lunch time and my favorite fast food place surely missed me! I know I was missing my daily RC. LOL

I really loved walking around Old Town St. Augustine. I was right too, I so enjoyed the buildings.

Better get back to work here…talk later.

Judy, I am so glad you had a good trip. And glad that you made it home safely.
Great picture, really strange tree growth. More pictures, please...from you and Betty too.

OK, I have a question.

some time ago, I guess I could look back and see, but didn't one of you make watercolor quilts from the kits that you can get from Whims?

somehow I was thinking it was GG, but maybe not.

I finally gave in and went to the pain management center today, one that was recommended by my neurosurgeon since I don't want to have surgery if I can manage without it. I was there for nearly 3 hours, and feel that maybe this might help. The doctor is a very nice, attentive man, and while we discussed the medicines that I have tried taking in the past, he also was trying to find a combination of new ones that might work. In the course of the conversation I told him that most of the meds of the past made me nauseous, but that it might be the combination of pain and anti inflammatory meds that I was taking. I told him that I had tried eating before taking them, but didn't seem to work because I wasn't a very big eater.

He looked at me in all seriousness and said: Well, yes, you might weigh almost as much as my left leg.

I laughed till I cried, but that broke the ice, and from then on I really liked him. In addition to changing all my medicines, he is going to start a series of nerve root injections. He would have started them today, but I didn't have anyone to drive me home, so will have to wait till next week.

Chronic pain is not fun, but I think this is a step in the right direction.

Now....whoever does the little quilt thingies....please tell me because I have a couple of questions. Thanks.

Hugs..
Shar

everyone have a great evening

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

I was just sitting here thinking about what Betty wrote, people that we care about dying, getting hurt very badly...all bad things that make us hurt and sad and dread tomorrow. But the thing is, those of us who know and care about so many people....all of us on this thread.....when you care about that many people in every age group, there will be deaths and heartaches. Now if we narrowed our caring down to only 2 or 3 people, which not a one of us could do......but we would rarely be grieved by the loss of them. I can't control my caring, nor can I control the number of acquaintances I have. I like everybody. I cried when I didn't get to meet Judy for breakfast. Somebody I don't really know, have never seen, but I can tell you in a heartbeat a lot about her. And Liz, same with her. I worry about her. I worry about Laura, think about Gita and am doing three happy dance cheers for her right now. It is funny how wide our world is, and because of that, sure we're going to hurt. the more we love, the more we get hurt. But not a one of us could turn it off.

OK, off my soapbox, now. Loved the hot tub story....that would only happen to Betty!

And where are all the Florida pictures??? I am waiting for the fashion show.

Did I tell you my camera died. Well, it did...so I will be getting a new one very very soon.

Starzz...you OK up there? We have been having 70 degree weather and tornado sightings here. Strange for January.

Liz, the shots are steroid injections into the specific nerve root. Should not have side effects, and I will have a series of 3, each about a week apart. Then 3 weeks off, then start again. There is no end in sight, no recovery, but it might make my life a bit more livable without so much pain. I try to not talk about it, and not dwell on it, but it took over the past couple of weeks and so it was hard to be quiet. Even my cats knew to stay away from me! the shots are combined with a new group of meds, an anti inflammatory, a mild pain med, and one that is supposed to relax my legs enough at night so that they don't cramp. Sometimes they curl up in a sort of fetal position and being alone, that can get scary.

GG I hope you are feeling good, and I am so happy that you love your work. Your little mini vacation sounded fun and interesting!

I know I left out a lot of people, I don't post often enough to keep up, but I get too long winded when i do post and bore myself.
You all have a good evening, and a great tomorrow.
Hugs,
shar

Victoria Harbour, ON

Went shopping after work..got carried away at the stained glass shop lol
Already had a Georgian Bay scene pattern but kept thinking of the new one I saw that the owner had created so went and bought it..will take it into the office in the morning and let Paul pick the one he likes best..they are the same size but one hangs vertical and the other horizontal..anyway, layed on the chesterfield and quickly fell asleep..now I'm up roaming..lol..

Remember I said that mom had a sore on her shoulder and of course she immediately thought it could be cancer..well, she went to the doctor's down there and they will take a piece of it today and send it for assessment..she said the doctor was worried..so let's hope..normally I'd say she was panicking again, but with all the calls I've received I'll say a prayer..

Oh Shar, you are such a sweetheart...we all worry about you...you know, being ill and having no one around or eating by yourself in a restaurant to me are the two things that really bring home how totally alone I am...I'm so very pleased to hear you are comfortable with this new doctor and that the new shots might just help..they've improved medication and therapy so much lately that surely something can ease your pain..

Didn't take a whole lot of pictures down South, don't know why, in previous years I'd have taken hundreds...will post my walk on the beach Christmas Day though and the 2 young ladies making their octapus out of sand..they had worked the better part of the day on it....as for the wardrobe..I'll post photo as you'll not believe the bright colors I've purchased...

Judy, knew you would love the history of St. Augustine..I could get lost there and New Orleans..especially in the graveyards..love walking around reading tombstones..isn't that a weird thing to do..always calms me down....could have visited Roger on my way home, but don't think seeing my name on the tombstone with my birthdate imprinted waiting for the final date that it would have cheered me up...smile/smile/laugh/laugh!!! Think I'll keep that visit for another day..

Rachel don't you just love it when the 'furries' come to help out..

Laura, when I was at the Stained Glass Studio last night she had on display beautiful beadwork..earings, necklaces..she has been taking lessons in Midland and is quite enjoying it..was telling her about your bracelets...I'll have to make a trip in to that shop and see what's different that you might like..

Dawn..are you back to school..feeling better I hope...you and Jeannine must have caught the same virus..

All the animals have followed me downstairs, they must wonder why I'm up so early..must go back to bed though, lordy I have classes to teach tonight and I'd never stay awake if I don't get a few more hours...talk later... today's a new day..sleep well my friends..

Hope Suzanne is feeling better..driving in on ones own isn't the same..miss the gabbing, makes the trip so much shorter...

Victoria Harbour, ON

Forgot my post..

Best of the day...finding some dychronic bevels for the piece I'm doing for Paul
Worse..getting a call from Mom saying she has to be at the Doctors early Wedn.for a minor procedure to check out the sore/growth on her shoulder
What did I learn..hmmm have to think about that one .. little early or late in the day to remember..lol..

Now I wonder which of these two Paul will pick..photo doesn't do it justice, can't see the bevelled finish..

Hi, Betty...
It is almost 1 a.m. for me, so maybe 3 for you??
I think my favorite of the two is the vertical one. but they are both lovely.
Now, go back to bed, my dear.
Sleep with angels.

ughhh hideous day.. palpatations all day!
scares me and i hate it.

Morning all,
Well I am still without my car..they said they couldn't get to it yesterday..they will try to have it ready today.
No problem though..I didn't need it to go out yesterday.

Sharran...sounds like you and the new doctor will be a great team, to get your pain under control.
I really enjoy reading your thoughts on life...you write very well.

Laura..must be anxiety that is making your heart beat fast..but I can understand how scary it must be.

Hi Trop..waving...

Betty..yes it is a bit hard to see the glass pieces properly. They do look very vibrant.
Do you know about Balvenie here on DG that does stained Glass work.
He keeps a journal on his work and I stumbled across it..
I have no talent or desire to do these things..but I do admire the patience that must go into it. My friend just ordered a hook rug kit to do.

Have a great day all

Storm is a brewing..wind watch in my region this morning..gusts to about 90-100..no one said it would be snowing but it was until we hit Barrie..Suzanne isn't feeling the best but she's here..with having her computer down for 2 weeks before Christmas, being off 2 weeks at Christmas she says she has to deal with client issues regardless...in our other office next door, which does mortgages, there is a room with a couch..she says if she's feeling frightful she'll go lay down..was nice having someone to travel with..

It was so exciting to hear she's going to be a 'mamere' that's grandma in french..I'm hoping for a girl so I can spoil her..my ex DIL is having a baby any day..she has 2 sons with my Jeff..hope it's a girl as well..I can get some knitting done and throws done on the knitting machine..that will keep me out of mischief..

Feeling better today, think it was being tired after the trip, the continual calls of bad news mixed with some disappointment..but, making my list and checking it twice for all the good things in my life and time to move forward..easy as that...

Brought in the 2 pattern packets..the vertical pkgs. is ready for use, but the horizontal package I must do up so that will occupy some of my day..Paul did pick the one with more lake and pine trees..horizontal one..can't wait to get started...would love to have it completed by Sunday and drop it off to have it framed..I'll challenge myself..

No canary yellow Liz, but every other color including lime green..lol..will put them all on the bed tonight and post...I'll have to keep my eyes open for accessories...not a jewelery person but think I might enjoy the dramatic fun look for a change...

Laura, think the palpatations are due to stress..you've been under so much of late, most likely it's catching up with you..you'll really have to focus on some relaxation techniques AND do things for yourselve...get to the closest beach..do some walking, enjoy the view while thinking only positive thoughts..get a pencil and pad out and as soon as they start, start marking things that are in your life to be grateful for....I just had to tell the brat that is within me to take a hike, I've much to much going on that is positive to be bothered with her thoughts..works..worry about you..

Trop..how we've missed you..what's going on in your life..glad weather is co-operating..good luck with the clean-up..winters' not over yet though..imagine you'll be starting seedling shortly right?

Shar..hope you are sleeping in this morning..makes for long nights when you can't settle in..can't even imagine what it's like to deal with that much pain..you have so many interests it has to be frustrating that you have to put them aside..
Any word on Gunnar - the painting project you were going to undertake? Can't do so in your condition though..you come first..will Ethan be coming this weekend? Shar wasn't that a new camera you just got?

Everybody here is on a roll today..involved in chit chat..laughing etc. good feeling..they asked me where their Dad would put the stained glass piece..I said 'not MY problem' the cottage that he bought from my SM after dad died is all glass front so am sure he will find a home for it..

Carol, what's the weather in your town life? Did you get your vehicle back..sure hope it didn't cost you a fortune...

Well, will go photocopy my pattern and start playing cut-out..might even fit in an afternoon nap..lol..1st night back teaching painting so need my energy..talk later

Do enjoy your day!

Liz

We crossed posted Carol..yes, I've been in conversation with Balvenie..wonderful work..am still having trouble with strength in my right hand/wrist so will take it easy, if I find cutting by hand a problem I can always use the new glass Taurus3 saw Jeff bought me for Mothers' Day a couple of years ago...makes thinks so much easier..no breakage etc. shouldn't take lone to do..if there is a tool for stained glass I've got it..I'm so bad..IF there is a contest to go to heaven if you've the most toys I'm sure I'll be in one of the front lines.. don't drink, don't smoke so have to have one bad habit right? lol thanks for the link though, I'll go back and check it out...

Judy,so sorry that things did not go better with regards to our schedule..I had thought we'd meet up south of Atlanta..when I got my book out to call, I realized I had the wrong date...I was so angry with myself...anyway I'm going on map-quest to look for a few locations which are mid-point..now that you have that van you are ready for the road right?

must remember to go to another of my groups, found the windchime and Dollie was going to try and figure out how to post a photo last night..hopefully she's managed to do so and I'll post photo..so interesting..know quite a few who would love one of these treasures...

well off I go...don't work to hard..always seems when you have no car you can come up with 1,000 things to do...

Judy, just checked mapquest...if we arranged a meeting in Frankenmuth..largest Christmas year round village (been there - love it) we could meet on weekend in the spring for an overnight visit...it would be 5hrs. 4 min. for you to drive and it would be 5hrs-46 min. for me to drive..so basically 1/2 way mark..and probably if I left on Friday night it would knock off 1 1/2 hrs. off the drive..wouldn't that be exciting..please think about it...then, we can arrange a weekend so neither of us books anything else....

I'll send a prayer for your family Jeanine. Betty you have a plate full of tears bbecause they are earned. it is funny how things build though and release without warning at times with no provocation or little. I am praying for your Mom too. Saw it on the other thread.

I get so far behind with you guys. It frustrates me because I leave out too much trying to post here and there. If I comment on all of it, (If I even tried to keep up) then I'd have a novel for a post.

Found out someone has been using our wireless router for internet and it is causing problems for us so I will be down for a day or so after tonight. We need to do something or we could get in trouble if people are downloading movies or porn or something and it will look like it is us, I guess. I told the company to make note of it for us in case though.

You'd wonder how that could happen wouldn't you Dawn..no need to post and reply to all you've read..just your dropping in is 'great' we miss you when we don't see you post...have you returned to your studies? How are the newlyweds..any photo's for us to see...

Kept busy today playing cut-outs for the stained glass piece...that usually mellows me but got a call from DS to say they were pulling the plub on Trevor today..they feel he has severe brain damage..should he continue to breathe on his own then I guess they'll try everything within their power to keep him alive...if not..his pain and suffering will be over but not that of the family..

Then I got an d-mail from a friend who I had come into contact with quite some time ago..if anyone needs prayers she does..things have gone from worse to ...can't even think to what...she's alone, no one to turn to..hadn't spoken to her in some time so dropped anote to say 'hi' boy oh boy I've been in some terrible situations but none such as this...I've renewed her subscription so she'd be able to stay in contact..so prayers would be helpful..the good Lord knows who she is..he'll direct them...

So my day hasn't gotten any better, well in one way it has...there are far more people worse off than I..

(Cathy), MO

Hi everyone. Sorry you're having a rough time Betty. And I agree, there are always people worse off than we are. Hard to see that at times though.
I'm still watching for an update on Gitagal's story!

HI
Betty, I will indeed talk to DH about meeting in the Spring.
No need to feel angry at yourself, was just one of those things that simply couldn't be worked out. Although it was disappointing not meeting you and Shar, I too shed some tears on the way home. But, you know I also had to smile at the very fact they we tried to make it work. Gave me a great feeling that you were able to meet one of your friends from DG and am just so Happy that You and Susan had a nice visit. (hope she is over being sick) I do look forward to meeting you and hopefully many if not all our friends here. One way or another, I beleive it will happen. So, yes lets plan and why not open the invitation to all who wants to join us...What do you say all, A road trip to Michigan? At any rate I am there.

Shar, So very glad that you found the right Doctor for you. I hope that through the plan you have set forth will bring you comfort. Did you hear me saying hello as we wisked through KY on way home? I will add some pictures from trip as soon as I get an extra minute. We are going through a few difficulties on the homefront. Nothing Major but enough to keep me from a normal routine at the moment. Sigh...

Brings me to Wonder, How you doing kiddo? I think of you often and send good vibes and hugs. I hope you are enjoying your time off. Just know we love you. (did you get my dmail?)

Carol, Was bummed to hear of your car issues. I am sure after just having her serviced this was a little aggetating...Any word yet? Loved your photo with your friends as well as the winter pics.

Gilli, Was so nice to see you! You and the kids looked like you had a ball making the sleighs. I know, we did. Do you think Sonora would like to make a stocking? I could send her a kit, many left over. Also, what a wonderful photo of you and family.

Dawn, Always so nice to see you post. LOL, I know the feeling of trying to write everything...I too can write long chapters on things, hehe just ask Betty and Liz. So always interested in what everyone has to say. So sorry to hear on you computer issues, how frustrating that some people have to ruin a good thing-hope it all checks out ok though.

Hi Ves...How are things in the great North woods? Still got snow or did you have a great melt down too? We have none at the moment. Whew.

Let me see...Tropi waving Hello good to see you. Hope your holidays were fun.

Gita, Got to say WOW! how exciting for you. Wondering how your search is going.
...Just think it is so neat to find a long lost friend, hope you are successful with it.
Plus, i was glad to see you had a nice holiday season with the family.

Ruby, you still with us? Hope you are well...chime on in anytime.

...Hello to Aranas! Hope you can join us soon and tell us how you have been and what you are up to.

Always thinking of Tangi too...Hope you are well, come back soon, still missing you.

GG-I enjoyed the photo's from your trip. Looks like a wonderful time. Also, how nice you are all on the getting healthy together, make it more fun.
Also, sorry for your loss.

Liz, Did I mention that I love your Shovel? it is wonderful. So what's next on you creative mind?? Do you decorate for Spring, already anticipating here.LOL.
So my kids are doing alright. Oldest is having a bit of Boy trouble, infuriating to me but got to let them settle their own issues. The girls are both preparing for their final exam's next week...DS is also preparing for tests. Doesn't stop him from getting into mischiff tho, LOL...We are all glad to be home in our own space.

...well would you look at this, I have written a book again. Probably 10 other posts already...hahaha and i haven't even told you about my trip!

But do have to go now, got a small project here staring at me. have a good afternoon talk to you later.

Hi Judy, yes, now let's not let it slip through the cracks..5 hr. drive and chipping in on a hotel room for 1 night can't be too costly..remember, we can sit on the bed and have a jammie party and of course. I'll say like my SIL Barb use to say..'the more is the better' right? Now think hard, when would be a good time..for me it would be April..as the weather is starting to get nice and I would have itchy feet..Carol..if you drove to the city you could hitch a ride with me..you'd enjoy Frankenmuth if you've never been there...

Got another project from friends of mine on msn group..what do you think of this for windchimes...
