Cherry Pie is in the oven. Was suppose to be a cobbler, but I don't do the crust, so that is what they get! LOL

Merry Christmas everyone! I baked 6 dozen cookies today, babysat 5 kids other than mine (so I had 8 all together) from 8 this morning til 3 this afternoon LOL I had Tori and Ashley, both 11, Leigh-Anne and Sarah both 9, Jeff and Kodie Lynn both 6, and Jackie and Justin (the twins) who turned 3 yesterday LOL I should be in a straight jacket by now

Got the kids gifts to each other and the family wrapped (they have a "Santa's Shop" at school they can buy stuff for 1-4$), and Mike and I have maybe a dozen or so gifts to wrap tonight, plus stockings, but the majority is done :))

I'm exhausted though LOL 8 kids is about 7 too many They were so good, other than my Jeff's temper tantrums, and Tori being bossy! My 11 yr old niece Ashley, helped with the cookies. She is so grown up for 11 :(( And she is me all over again LOL

Mike just got the station closed, he wanted to close between 2 and 3, but was swamped. He still has to go buy buns and gift boxes and pop and tomatoes, then come home and shower and change so we can go to my sisters house for Christmas Eve. My mom, and her boyfriend (who has actually been really nice and pleasant so far) and my sister and her Hubby and their 5 kids, and me and Mike and our 3 will be there tonight. We all open the gifts we got each other, so that will be done.

Last night Jennee had the twins birthday party at her house too, so she is frazzled. There were 13 kids under 11 there, and 13 adults there last night. It was a mad house!! Her hubby (Brian) had to work half a day today so that is why I had the kids. I guess I didn't tell you guys that his doctor took his driving privileges away last week, so now Jennee has to take him to work and drive him for his inspections. Brian's vision has gone funky, he gets double vision, and what the eye DR calls kaleidescope vision, where his vision to him looks like he is looking through a kaleidescope, hence the name :( I really hope they find out what is going on with him soon.

Well, I probably will be able to check in tomorrow, since Jeff comes to get the kids at noon or 1, and not sure what Mike and I are doing, probably sleeping LOL

Anyway, Christmas is over for us now. Lots of people over, and lots of yummy food. My mom and DH's mom were supposed to be here but they're both sick today and didn't want to come. Can't really blame them. We're going to deliver their gifts tomorrow.

It snowed here today. Six inches in two hours! Everyone was nervous as they left but they've all called and they got home okay. Whew! Dh is clearing the driveway and sidewalk now.

Good Christmas morning ya all!

Christmas day is over now. It snowed again last night but not very much, only an inch or so. went to my mom's and gave her her gifts. My DD made an afghan to throw over her legs because she gets cold. I gave her jammies and my DBs gave her a very soft and fluffy robe. She'll be warm now! LOL

After that, we went to DH's moms. Spent a couple of hours there while DH cleared her walks and driveway.

We came home and I made my "famous" Xmas tacos! LOL Mmm...

Well Good Morning!

What a fun last couple of days! I am suprised I am up this early...Everyone loved my ornaments and sleighs, I made soi was really just beaming with happiness.

Kids took over computer and well that was that. Went to cousins for a visit and when we returned the kids had the tree dismantled and out to the curb!! Nice suprise so I don't have to do it today. They even vaccumed!! We leave for Florida tomorrow Morning!

Morning all, Santa baby was good to me, with new garden shears that pop apart and turn into knives. Woohoo, the lethal gardener! Also got gift certificates for big box store, so I can go buy seed, plants etc. what ever I want. So nice. Spent most of the day at DS and DILs house enjoying the grandbabies and having a wonderful time. I passed the "who is fixing Xmas dinner" torch this year to the DILs. I'll be happy to bring dishes, offer assistance etc, but am letting them take over the main job. We stared doing Xmas breakfast at my place last year and did that this year at their house. It was getting to complicated timing wise for multiple big dinners. It's much more relaxed this way and we all had a good time. DH and I came home and I took a little nap. We had some leftover ham and beans I had fixed earlier in the week and I whipped up a pan of cornbread. We "pigged out" and watched some DVDs we'd rented. Peaceful and quiet. Very nice.
Understand from my DIL who is a manager at one of the big box stores, they are having a 75 percent off sale today on a lot of their mechandise. So I'm taking the gift certificate and going shopping, plus she's working today and said to holler at her and I can use her discount as well. Don't get no better than that.............LOL

Hello, all! Power issues last night. Not mine, the houses! LOL

Dr. appt. early this morning. Just got back. Things are fine, just new meds for the high BP. Snowed AGAIN last night a little. 22º and feels colder with more snow expected later.

I have to work today so I wanted to check in and let you know I'm still here. Got a hot cup of java and DH by my side. I'm good. He's standing over my shoulder reading what I'm writing to you all. So I'll just go on and on until he gives up. LOL He left.

I love him. He's so cute. Now he's asking if I want to play a video game before work. Yes, I do, so off I go...BYE! LOL

Glad to see everyone is still good after the Holiday! I am whooped! So much that I have taken two naps on the couch since waking up this morning, and, I am STILL tired!

Hey, what did happen?

Work was a madhouse today! Kids running around, parents running around, me running around! LOL Sheeesh!

Everyone had time to rest up after the hectic day I'm sure we all had? Tammy, I know you did, what with TWO naps! LOL

been really really sick, ER today sinus infection and phrangytis again.... but here are a couple quick pictures I had to show you guys!!

What you can't see, is that there are 3 more big presents unwrapped on the other wall. Tori's Barbie house, Sarah's Kitchen set, and Bubby's train table with trains. My bestest gift? Toss up between my 6 and a half quart crock pot (the old kind with a knob control) or my 6th row tickets to see Trace Atkins with Bill Engvall in March :))

Thanks Kwan! I loved your fairy (?) that your DD (I think it was) gave you. If we don't keep the fairy pics you mentioned in the pic of my tree, I'll send them to you.

My little man did great on his bike! He laid it down 1 time (forgot where the brake was) and ran over Sarah's sled, Sarah's bicycle and hit the side of our tracker, but he jumped right up said that he wasn't hurt, and got back on it, and took off again. He ran it out of gas LOL Mom is still pretty nervous, though. It has a throttle control so he can only go about 7 miles per hour right now. It will do up to about 35 when we take the governors off. YIKES!

We had a great day. My concert tickets made my day. I had no idea about them. Mike also got me a t shirt that says "lead me not into temptation, I can find it by myself" LOL

Mornin all! Glad to see everyone is still a kickin today! Those two naps sure was nice, Kwan! Even went to bed at a reasonable hour. LOL Woofens, your kids are dolls, and everyone got such wonderful pressies! I bet bubby is having a blast on that motor bike, I know I always did! I won't tell you any of my horror stories, though! :( I sure wish you would get to feelin better, too!

Sun is shining today. No clouds at all. But...more snow coming. Thank goodness it's only a small amount at a time. Very cold at night; it's been getting into the teens. There's a little stripey kitty that we've been seeing in our neighborhood for a while now. He's left out all night! Don't know how he stays warm but he was here again this morning. I know he's out at night because when I can't sleep, I watch the street out the window. I see him walking around and sometimes he comes onto the porch and sleeps on the window sill. Poor little guy! I feel bad for him and want to bring him in but he only lets us get so close and then he moves on.

Work this afternoon. We're back to decent hours; no more midnight closings. YEAH! Returns, returns, returns! Ya gotta luv it.
