Nope, didn't work. I'll type it out.
Stop and visit, talk all you want. pt6
No pic yet, but I will when I figure out where to hang it up.
Kwan: If your recipe is in your word processing program you can copy and paste it over here. You probably already know that, though.
She is too busy typing it up already! ☺

Yup! Has all the stuff I love!
LOL :)
Tammy, did you MIL get home?
Janis, haven't heard from you in awhile.
Terry?
Marilyn?
Lynda?
I am assuming she has, no one has said otherwise.
YES, where is everyone!
Did you remember, Celia? ☺
I'm here, just checking in now. Tried putting another coat of Milk Paint with Extra Bond over the primer I had done on my cabinet, doors, etc., and the dang (oops, almost cussed!) stuff is peeling again. Soooo....off we go to another town and buy the Rustoleum furniture spray paint. Hopefully I can get it sprayed tomorrow. Then at some point in time, I can get the urethane on it. I thought I'd have it done long before Christmas. Guess that isn't going to happen. 1 step forward, 3 steps back....story of my life with this house.
Yes Mau, Krista got all her hair cut off. Well not all of it, it's just below the shoulder. 10" I'd say was cut off. The gal wanted to blow it dry straight, since everyday she's got the curls. But Krista doesn't like it much when they put all that product in there. So tonight she was in the shower washing her hair. We don't like the nuts in the bread, so make sure you send me the one with no nuts. ☺
Tammy....here's a little something just for you....

Well girls, it's past my bedtime...nighty night........♥
hey terry, thats cool, thanks! nighty night!
I did remember!
Glad MIL is home. It's always good when you can be home. Always makes ME feel better.
13º...brrrrrr...
Busy, busy, busy, today...bzzzzzzzzzz..............
That's cool, Terry. Now we know.
EWWWWWWWWWWW 13º! Its like 60 here today! It is suppose to start raining, then turn to ice and snow. Shaun just went for a ride on the Harley while it is pretty and dry! LOL
Sorry, Terry--the pumpkin bread is almost goneI have to make another batch.--Pau got into the loaf with the raisins and nuts and I gave the other loaf to his aunt this morning. So I still have more baking to do. I wanted to take at least one loaf to some friends who we are going to visit tomorrow but Pau has already scarfed down at least 1/2 of the loaf so it looks like I may have to bake TWO more batches of the pumpkin bread so I will have two loaves to take to our friends and two loaves to keep. I should have put the first two loaves in the freezer to hide them from Pau! sigh --LOL
It's not cold here today but it is about 58ºF and raining. Hpefully we will get some sunshine tomorrow.
Celia, the french toast crunch sounds good--how many people does it feed? Probably makes too much for just two people to have for breakfast.
Well, I better get to making the next batch of pumpkin bread. Be back later.
Hello Marsue and all,
Sorry haven't been posting, I have been insane making gifts! Stockings, mini sleighs, Snowmen.
Also keeping house in some sort of orderly fashion. Just had my last day of work until 1-8-08!!
Now finishing up my shopping, preparing for a house full for Christmas Eve and then We are going to Florida for New Years...Hoping to visit 2 of my DG friends Bettypause and Shar, very excited for that.
...You all have been in my thoughts and prayers, have missed chatting with you. Will get back into my routine after holidays...Wanted to come in and say
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Healthy New Year!!

Judy/Seedtosser1
Ok sorry I have been missing in action so to speak. I have been so busy, I have barely kept up with the posts!!
My Christmas shopping is officially done, I finished today, got a couple little things (whoopee cushions of all things) for stockings, and picked up Jeff's helmet, goggles and gloves! His dirt bike got here Thursday night, it is buried behind a pile of drywall in the basement! I haven't even seen it yet LOL
Thursday was Zoe's appointment with the ENT, we didn't get any good news. It is definitely not a blockage or liquid in her ears causing the hearing loss, but the ENT couldn't do the brain wave test. We probably have to go to Pittsburgh for it. So that was a blow, we were really hoping it was a blockage or fluid causing her to fail the hearing tests. She definitely has at least some hearing loss, we just don't know how much. Sigh.
I went to the ENT Friday morning, and it was another wasted trip. :(( According to her, the pharyngitis is being caused by Reflux, and my smoking (I know I should quit). I don't have reflux. I only have heartburn a couple times a year at the most. She told me to buy a warm air humidifier, to start taking Musinex, and quit smoking. Sigh.
I can't even begin to comment on all the posts.... but I hope all is well for everyone, and I'm so glad Tammy's MIL is coming home.
Not sure how much I'll be around until after Christmas but everyone have a great and safe holiday!!
Hugs,
Janis
Welcome back, Judy, if only for a moment. Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy your trip to Florida and be safe! We'll welcome you back on a more permanent basis after the New Year.
Been missing you, too, Janis, but know you have been busy. Sorry to hear that you didn't find out what was causing Zoe's hearing loss. Hopefully you will find out more after the trip to Pittsburgh. Keep us posted.
Got my two loaves of pumpkin bread in the oven--will have to hide these from DH to keep him out of them! LOL
Check with y'all later.
I know what Janis has been up to. Same as everyone else! LOL
Hi, Judy!
Hi, Marilyn! The french toast is supposed to feed 8 but the way my DH eats, it could feed 4! LOL
Hi ALL! So glad to see you all have come back to at least say hello! You have been missed!!!! I know everyone is busy with the holidays and all, but I will be thinking of each and everyone of you! Mau, I will do my best to behave, just for you, over the Holidays!
Love and Hugs to all!
Tammy
I think I had mentioned the Buckeye Cookies on here and went and found the closest recipe to how I make them. I do not make them into balls as they say, but a regular cookie shape, or you can cut them into squares. If you decide to make em, you will never eat another Reeses Peanut Butter Cup!

Happy Holidays to all my dear friends!
Tammy
Happy Holidays from me to all of y'all, too! and Tammy, just remember: "he's making a list and checking it twice, gonna find out who is naughty or nice!" LOL
We're off in a little bit to visit friends for the afternoon. Tomorrow won't be so busy for me and I will have time to check back in and wish you all a very blessed Christmas Day.
Ok Mau, I will TRY my best to be naughty, oh no, I meant nice! HA HA HA Don't let Santa get his hands on the list!
HUGS
Tammy
I used to make these things called Buckeyes, but mine were different than the recipe in the link. Mine had graham cracker crumbs (the kind you buy in a box), powered sugar, melted butter, peanut butter and coconut. Think that's it. Then I made them into balls and dipped them into the chocolate almond bark, melted. I don't have the recipe, it's at my parents house. But they are yum yum good! The above one looks tasty too!
I bought our daughter a stocking from Pottery Barn a few years ago. One side says "I'VE BEEN VERY VERY VERY GOOD" the other side says "I'VE BEEN VERY VERY VERY NAUGHTY"...LOL!
I'll be busy all day tomorrow and we go to my parents house for Christmas Eve and turn around and go back on Christmas Day. I won't be back on till the day after. So.....
HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Terry, I want your recipe, too, they sounds YUMMMMMMMMMMY! So, which one has she been? LOL
Be safe, be happy, be Naughty, oh shoot, did I just type that! LOL Don't look Mau! HA HA HA Merry Christmas!
hi all, when you get a chance check out this thread-maybe would want to be a mentor, but I know I am a newbie!
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/798958/
Well, I was going to watch 'Miracle On 34th Street', but my SIL called. So much for that. I called my sister to see if she had the recipe and she did.
2 1/2 c. graham crackers crumbs
1 c. peanut butter (I always use chunky)
2 sticks butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 c. coconut
Melt the butter and mix everything together. Make balls and melt something like half the tray of the chocolate almond bark in a glass bowl. I stick a toothpick into the ball and dip it into the chocolate and set on wax paper. Let the chocolate on each ball harden. Then eat and enjoy!
For the most part, our daughter has been good this year. That's the way I hung it up. Last year I hung it up saying she had been very naughty...lol...she wasn't happy with me.
Thanks, Terry! I will give that a try!
Glad to hear she has been good!
☺
We got back home about 7:30 after spending about 4 1/2 hours with friends in Bryant. We really enjoyed our visit with them. There were 17 of us, I think, if I counted correctly. Food was delicious and there was too much of it but we all managed to put a dent in it! The best part, of course, was the hugging and kissing and the "I love you's". These people are not related to us in any way--but they are as close, if not closer, than our own family. It was a good afternoon and evening! ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺ In fact it was a 10 smile day, at least! LOL
I checked out that thread on the newbie/mentor, Tammy. It certainly sounds like a good idea to me. I could probably join up as a newbie but I already have been in touch with several people here on DG who have been most helpful and have sent me seeds already. I will leave a newbie spot in my zone for someone else.
Terry, you and John and DD have a great day tomorrow and on Christmas, too! Give them a hug from Pau and me and one for yourself, too! We will be leaving early Christmas morning--have 3 different places to go and will end the day by spending the night with Pau's mother in Clinton. We'll be home sometime on Wednesday.
I think I'll go hunt up my tape of Miracle on 34th St. I haven't watched it in a couple of years. Thanks for the reminder, Terry! and those buckeyes sound good! but I have had enough sweets for awhile! LOL
Oh no, always room for buckeyes! Merry Christmas, MAU, and all of your family, too!
Merry Cristmas, Tammy, and to all you others who are currently "off-line". I'll check in tomorrow. Bye for now.
G ahead, tell Santa I've been bad. HE already knows. I haven't been by to say "hi" to anyone. But I'm here now so...Hiiiiiii...
Tomorrow is "The Big Day" at our house so I won't be around but I wanted to wish all of a you the merriest, happiest Holiday there has ever been! I miss talking to all of you. I've grown to care about all of you.
"I love to laugh
Loud and long and clear.
I love to laugh.
It's getting worse every year...
The more we laugh,
The more we're a merrier we."
Uncle Albert (I think)
Happy Holidays to all my friends!
Just a quick check in!! Sounds like you all are going to be very busy!! After work today we have our annual Christmas eve dinner with my bf from highschool and then home for Christmas day.
Merry christmas to all!!!♥
♥♥♥...XOXO...☺
XOXOXOXOXO to all of my dear friends! I probably won't be around much either, but I WILL be thinking of all of you and all the fond memories I have! Could someone please give me a boot cause I just don't have it in me yet to do what needs to be done! HA HA HA
Love ya all!
Tammy
