Hi there, popping in to say that I'm having a wonderful day..everyone is gone to a 'hockey' game..Noah plays at 5:15 so they've all gone and I'm here going through all the paper and wrappings so nothing gets thrown away..

So what did I get today so far...

Beautiful Angel from Diane

Hope/Faith and Love angels from Marg
Crystal candle holder, tree ornament, and $100 US from Suzanne and Lenny

Blanket that Kyle actually made for me out of fleece

$150 from Greg and Mel

$150 from Jeff

$50 from Aline

$100 from Darlene

$50 from Mike..

So, to say the least I'll have to watch that I don't loose my wallet..lol...and Art/Mae sent $300.00 USA funds to use while travelling...

Tomorrow will be a quiet/quiet day as the storm will be hitting our area later tonight and all day tomorrow..unless it changes path which I doubt, I'll not leave until Monday or Tuesday...Mike and Darlene picked up my vehicle so that it could be put into their garage so I'm without wheels...thanks goodness for restaurant and variety store for Sun./Mon.

Aren't I spoilt...

Well better get things cleaned up before they get back...

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

goodness your all busy as beavers!
so much happening getting ready for xmas.
had the DD's and their partners over last night and the grandchildren and had roast lamb. mmmm it was marinated greek style! yum.
then we played a dice game called 'zilch'. it was a lot of fun.
my youngest son is coming down again today with his new girlfriend, thats twice in two weeks! thats more than i have seen him in 6 months so that great.
all the family seem to be coming around me and all seems to be well.
i had a lot of trouble when my ex left me as he had said a lot of nasty untrues and it fractured the relationships i had with them all.
BUT! good won this time and old father time has mended it all. so i am happy that its over and the new 'shoots' are beginning to show.
been playing wtih my new cuttlebug, its cool. i got it as an early xmas present!

now was it liz that asked me about the shells? hmm no i havnt thought of doing that but many of them dont have holes and im not sure i have the patience to do that! lol

9:45 and I'm ready for bed...Jeff/Caleb and Braedon just left for the city..bad weather brewing so although it may be past midnight when they get home I've asked him to call..he managed to scam 2 of the light boxes for friends..how did I know he'd do that and made the extra...lol

Greg has to fly out tomorrow to Calgary so he just left on his skidoo to check out what he has to bring with him for work

Melanie/Kyle and Noah have left as well..here I am, everyone gone, exhausted from all the Christmas prep

It was a marvellous day..everyone got mega spoilt, including me..

A warm bath and off to bed..

I'll be gabbing with you all tomorrow...

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

glad you had a nice day betty, sounds lovely. Im ready for an afternoon nap myself but have guests!

guess what? i found out all my family (brothers and sisters and such) are getting together for a family xmas and woops, wouldnt you know it, they forgot to invite guess who??!! I found out by accident. they are hurtful, nasty, spiteful people. I know i should just go. well, its their loss and shouldnt care, but it doesnt stop the hurt of it though i would never tell them.
i wish i could just move away sometimes and forget they even exist, horrible people and one in particular and poor excuse for a proclaimed christian! sigh.......i know we are not perfect none of us, but ..... anyway....

dont want to bring you all down....

now, get into that festive spirit you all and have fun for me!

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Ahhh, Laura. Family spites are the worst kind. Just don't forget you have a loving family here, and that doesn't make up for your own family, but it might ease the hurt a little bit.

And think what you are doing for little Gunnar.....you are reaching out to a child thousands of miles away......who else in your family is doing that?? but gunnar will know and all of us on here will know, and you will know. that should count for something.

You are a kind and loving person. Just be yourself, and try to not let others get you down.

I hope your day tomorrow is really surprisingly great!
hugs...
sharon

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

thanks sharon,

i was so hurt, but your right!
I got him a little pen and keyring set too with australian things on it just for a kick.
hope it doesnt take too long to get there but you know how the mail can be!
One of betty's parcels didnt even make it!
fingers crossed eh?
and thanks again.

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

Good Morning all,
Well..there is fine hail falling..I can see some of it it bouncing.
Good thing Betty is waiting till tomorrow to set off on her trip.
Betty..sounds like everyone was thinking alike and decided to give you some spending money for your trip...but I'll bet you will treasure the fleece blanket the most.
Now do be careful with all that cash. Nice to see your "rugrats"..having fun what is the long black thing on your couch?
I hope your trip goes well..you are a brave soul..

Liz your decorations are wonderful..your mantel is full and lushcious.

Laura..I have a friend who is in the same postion..not invited to her brother's family get together..but her brother is taking her out for dinner alone..must be some old disagreements there with the others. It must be painful..but just concentrate on your own close family now.

Have a good day everyone..I'm hunkered down here..so glad I don't have to go anywhere..snow is falling now.

Cheers,
Carol

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning, woke up at 4am and almost every hour there after but talked myself to staying in bed till 8am as there is absolutely no reasons for me to be up, to do anything, to go anywhere (can't because they put my car in Darlene's garage yesterday!) so, am housebound but that's ok...

The plowman just did my driveway and said it will be a long couple of days for him..snow is falling heavily and winds are blowing so, the best that might happen is if it dies down we'll leave for the city later today so we'll have that 100 miles of the journey in, but if they call for bad weather tomorrow guess we'll just wait...

Yes, fun was had by all, so nice doing it before Christmas as there was no rushing from house to house..spent personal time with all...that was the best part..as for the $$$, I'll hit a few craft shops like Michaels/Joanne Fabrics etc. am sure something will want to come home with me..

Talked to Cathy last night and she's coming over today so I can show her everything and also give her a key..I'm washing all the bedding as she'll probably sleep in my room, will spend a good part of the day just dusting, washing the floors taking mini-breaks .. it's almost as though Sailor knows I'm going somewhere, she keeps close by and puts her head on my lap! Am so pleased that she and the cats can stay in their own home while I'm away..that's such a plus...

Must get a suitcase out and pack it, also, will bring something with me to do as it would drive me crazy JUST sitting all the time..many unfinished projects so am sure I'll find something...

Enough about me...

Carol..guess the worst is yet to come this afternoon..glad you'll be safely tucked in..so enjoyed your photo's..so nice to have great friends to enjoy festivities with..35 years working in the same place-wow- that's a lot of time...must have enjoyed it to stay there that long...

Laura..been in same boat with in-laws since Roger's death (only because I obeyed his wishes) anyway..used to cry a lot about spilt milk, but you know, I left it alone, went on and put my love into my own family and friends and it was well worth it..put it behind you 'sweetie'..the cream of the crop (2 sisters and 3 brothers) have come to the top in these past years and we've mended most fences..same will probably come true for you..YOU just can't make it happen...look at all the positives..you've your own family back in the fold, lovely grandchildren and as Shar says, we your friends on the Best/Worse and What did I learn Today....when anything happens in my life of late the first thing I want to do is share with you all, so that means ties of friendship are well grounded...who better to spend my morning coffee with today..lol...

Liz, want to go back and look at the card tree again and your victorian santa but know I'll loose this post if I do so will comment later on it..wouldn't mind the pattern as well if you can...oooohhhh heights frighten me, not my thing so my dear you should be staying OFF that roof..there's enough to be done on your 2 feet planted solidly on the ground..stay there...but am glad you got a few of the trouble spots on the roof looked after...how is DH doing?
and the in-laws..lol..will have to tell you my tale of the Aunt and Mom later today..nobody thinks I'll survive the 2 1/2 weeks..Jeff said he'd rather have 2 root canals without pain relief meds. than take that trip...lol ..

Shar...read your story several times...what an honor to have it listed for all to read...pat yourself on the back...how is Gunnar? Family doing ok...when will you be starting your mural..that's quite a hike to Nashville hospital isn't it? Sure wish I could con mom and Aunty to take a tour to see all the light at Grand Ole Opry..(then I could get to meet you) but doubt that's an option...how much time over the holidays will Ethan be there?..having your family with you this Christmas will help ease some of your pain...especially having that little Angel..he keeps you well occupied...funny how they seem to look after us rather than we look after them..before all left last night, Noah took out his chocolate fondue and we all had fruit covered in chocolate..all enjoyed...

Judy, haven't seen you on this weekend, bet you are busy as a bee, so much to do before Christmas and the Florida trip...

Gita, I also cut up old Christmas cards for my packages..bought from Michaels one time a pkg. of scissors with different cutting designs and a hole punch..works wonderfully..at one time, the seniors and I made placematts with them all directly after Christmas using clear mactac..they were wonderful...you sound as though you recycle quite a bit as well..

Dawn, the police were asking for help in finding the shooter..thank goodness the driver of the 18 wheeler was able to keep the truck in control, he was badly shaken and injuries due to breaking windshielf but he and passenger are released from hospital..they closed that part of the highway..where we travel each and every day looking for clues..some stupid person just out to create havoc..must be something better to do with their time..how are you feeling today, getting better I hope..is Greg back at work?

Rachel, how are the renovations going? Guess you are in the drying mode right now? How is your weather?

Vicki, will you be getting any additional hours off for the Christmas holidays? Sounds like your work is stressful during this particular time as well...

Cat..nice to see you back..would be fun wouldn't it, using the cards for a 'tree' .. will have to put mine in a special project box or even better, try it in January when all is quiet...

Oh won't it be fun, once the Christmas holidays are done with, we'll all be so busy planning garden things, looking forward to it...it's a little bit of heaven being in one's garden...

well, off for a bath, do my hair and imagine, even going to do my nails..lol...I'm a lady of leisure today...

Good Morning My Friends!

...Wow, how exciting with all the festivities going on!!

Carol, beautiful gathering you had. I've enjoyed your pictures lovely friends you have.

Betty, Sounds like you made out Great and all of your planning was huge success. Now, you can kick back and relax, until travel is safe, then go and just have fun!!

Cat, Was great you got a chance to come say hello! I can surly imagine you are quite busy with your new house and holiday preporations.

Shar, Awonderful article you wrote! Fun reading a bit on how you grew up and must have be great to remember a time like that. Love the wreath and recipe to feed the little critters of sky and ground...now where am I going to find a wistoria tree...thinking on that, smiles for that.
...Got a special little cup for Gunner-I painted his name on it and got my tobacco started, will send my offerings (special prayers) when it is full.

Liz, I sure enjoy you inside deocrations!! Very, Very pretty. Your tree of cards is something I have never seen or heard. Waht a wonderful idea!! Now you know I am trying to figure out how it is built.
Thank you for the Christmas Card!

Gita, another great idea with the gift tags! I sure learn some really nifty ideas from everyone here!

Ves, was glad to see you are getting into the Christmas spirit too. Thank you too...Received your card the other day, made me smile!

I have missed posting regularly, but you all are in thoughts on dailey baisis. Talk of you all to family and friends.

Ok, so lots of "stuff" going on in my world, some good, some bad...But We are are all healthy and hope for good outcomes is what I am thinking. not much else I can do. Will be so glad to go on vacation and for get it all. Shar -I am on leave as of Friday, however if I don't use the last 2 days of vacation time I will be done as of the Thursday the 20!! Woohoo. And I am taking Monday off to get things done...hahah, like my christmas shopping! In mean time I have been spending my every free moment on my ornements! Will be sending off another batch tomorrow and pray they make it in time..LOL
We had our Family gathering yesterday...Very nice until gift exchange. Then I was so angry at how rude a particular family is I just couldn't even contain my anger, It started brewing at the fact that NO prayers were said at the begininng of the meal! I said since when do we not say grace?? Then My family said a grace amongst ourselves. Then the gift exchange was just complete joke...now I have always said to children, gifts come from the heart, the time you take to go and find a special present, right, Well this particular family members laughed scoffed at what my kids got them, which was very nice, shirts, a jacket and other nice things...Heres the thing that really bother my feelings...
my kids, presents were forgotten!! So, they were each given a nice card with a special note and 5 dollars...I was given a pre warning about it so I gathered them and told them...they waited patiently, oohed and ahhed about everyones gifts...So came their time to open their card and these so rudley laughed and continue like they weren't even there!! My little guy, who is the youngest...trying to read his card among the noise finally gave up and just said thank you...made me proud and my anger burst told DH We got to go NOW!..My anger is not about the gifts, it is about how rude some people are, they didn't even care why we left so early! it's over, thanks for listening.

Snowed all night, so very pretty and ever so peaceful to watch.

Well, I hope i didn't bring anyone down...enjoy your day, I am off to continue sewing while watching some christmas shows.

(Cathy), MO

Good morning everyone.

Holidays can bring out the best in some people and the worst in others. I never really understood why, but try to think of it as being their loss. I also believe people eventually reap what they sow.

Seedtosser it sounds like you have kids to be proud of!

And Laura, if you gotta run away, come over here!!!!! :-)

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and Betty please be careful on your trip!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Judy Babe, Christmas has become so commercial that a good portion of the human race can only see the monetary aspect of Christmas (me saying that after saying that after posting how excited I am about getting $$$) but it's just so exciting when openeing a gift to see the thought and love that went into each of them..and to receive a gift from a child, omg, how very rude and yes you have every right to have left...bad manners to say the least! Chear up sweetie, am sure they'll give and receive gifts which truly are heart felt... think everyone about this time is tired and fretting, hoping that all their expectations are met and it doesn't necessarily happen that way..the best of Christmas has yet to come....

Jeannine..what are you up to? Probably resting on that new mattress, snuggled in not wanting to get out right?

Liz, went on a thread yesterday, the title lured me in..lurked around and all of a sudden I got so very excited..saw that Tangiegirl has posted, then, looked at the date and it was a very old post from the summer...sure do miss her....

Judy, you've just reminded me of something, better go call Kyle and tell him I'm on the couch, snuggled into the blanket throw he made me...

Victoria Harbour, ON

Cat, morning...are you getting some of this storm..is it freezing rain you are getting??? be careful out there today as well...

Christmas I think brings back childhood memories as well, wether they be good or bad..they make an impact throughout our lives..sometimes, some are not taught the true meaning of Christmas nor have they experienced the love that comes from giving more than receiving...

(Cathy), MO

Hi Betty. We have about 5-6 inches of snow but no ice. I went out earlier and shoveled the deck off again for the cats to have easier access.

I agree, Christmas is so commercialized anymore, it seems like 75% of people have forgotten what it's all supposed to be about.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Is that a lot of snow for you..do you normally have as much...for the past 3 or 4 years we've been lucky to get a few inches for Christmas...my boys are snowmobiling and if it continues to freeze with weather conditions as is, they'll be travelling the lakes..not that I like that but that's the norm for up here...already my snowbanks from snowplowing are about 4 to 5' high..I must get out and do shovelling as well, but it's so cozy here and I'm so comfy with all the Christmas festivities behind me..

I've about 10 bags of wrapping I want to burn but the pit is quite a distance from the house so I think in order to keep my boots dry I'll wrap garbage bags over them and tie them to my knee..lol..won't that be a sight, but need to burn it all..

(Cathy), MO

We are lucky if we get a 6 inch snow anymore. Most of the time it's 1 inch or maybe 2. Winters are warmer here than they used to be. We got a 12 inch snow last year, but that's the first one I've seen that deep for years! It's supposed to get back up in the 50's mid week here, so it'll all melt off. We don't usually have snow for Christmas anymore. Maybe we'll luck out this year and get more!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Still in my nighty, just a blowing and snowing out there..mom called and she's and aunt have settled in for the day and understand it's not worth taking our lives in our hands or that of others just to travel 1 or 2 days earlier..they will spend the winter there so what is the rush, I'll miss out on a few days holidays..oh well..

Got my little pocket computer that tell you when you key in the mile marker where you are what's at each stop, where there are hospitals, shopping, attractions, what hotels/restaurants, how long it should take you to get there etc...just a fun thing to have...batteries are dead, will pay tripple next door but it will give me something to do..must talk with them anyway incase Cathy who will be staying here needs something I haven't accounted for, she can pick it up and I'll pay the bill when I get back...

Richmond, VA(Zone 7a)

Good Morning Everyone!!! I have been very busy since Friday. I left work early (I went in at 7am so 2pm wasn't that early!). DH came home early too so we had quiet time for approx 7 mins.

Went out with one of my friends Fri night. She's going thru a divorce so she wanted to get out of the house since the kids were at her ex-2-be's house. Went to dinner and then shopping. Was nice to get out.

Sat morning, hit the grocery store then took DD over to her friend's father's house (my friend's ex from last night). DD spent the day over there and went to her friend's cheering competition with her mom (my friend). The ex refuses to go because he didn't want the daughter to cheer in the first place. Ran a couple of other errands and hit the craft store. I was looking at the paper mache' stuff and decided to try something. I bought 2 of the reindeer and I'm covering them with scrapes of fabric from my quilting. I'll post when I'm done - it looks really neat!

Went out again last night with my two neighbor friends. Ate at Maggiano's then hit a couple of stores. Again, nice to get out. DH gave me a hard time about going out 2 nights in a row and I gently remined him about his camping trips where he's gone for 48 hrs straight. He shut up after that!

Got up this morning and took DD to the doc-in-the-box (Patient First) to see if she had bronchitis. She's been coughing for a week. Just viral the doc said so I bought some Musinex DM (EXPENSIVE!) and a vaporizor (oh, the memories!!). She's now upstairs cleaning each bathroom to earn so money so she can buy her Sperry Topsiders that are the latest fad.

So I'm just going to hang out today. Sew a little. Maybe take a nap. It's raining so it's a nap kind of day!

Betty, when do you leave? YOu have a safe trip, you hear! When do you get back? We will really miss you!!!!

Carol, Vicki, Judy & Liz - Thank you for the beautiful Christmas cards!!!!

Y'all have a good day - I'm off to be lazy!!!!

Cheers!
Jeannine

Hi Betty,

...so nice to see you are relaxing and keeping cozy!! LOL don't forget to add me on that little computer.

You and Cat are right! Got to share this with you...my boy here sure knows how to put me back in the spirit. You know what he has done? Put a Christmas station on the radio, We are singing and whistling while sitting at craft table creating his mini sleighs to continue his gifts...They are so much fun our list just keeps on growing!! Some of them are being made with old Christmas cards, yet another wonderful idea came from Liz and Gita...Plus it is fun to reveiw them.

Break over see you in a bit!

Crafting/crafting oh what fun..nope, not me, did it since Sept. so now I can listen to all your fun filled hours of crafting..Jeff brought in the box last night that he ordered for me..full of santa hair..going to look for supplies while in Florida..you know what..maybe that will entertain me..I'll pack up my mold now...that way, if I see what I need, I'll purchase it on sale and be one season ahead...hmmmm...minds a ticking! So much fun this morning to drop in from time to time and enjoy you all...

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Jeannine- Hope you got a nap in! Murphy is so sweet and posed so well in front of the tree!

Cat- Hope your staying warm and dry and enjoying the snow.

Friday helped our friends take out the old chimney that was in the kitchen, Cindy figured since we had the walls down to the studs might as well make the kitchen bigger while she had the chance. Have three big propane heaters running and a dehumidifier running to dry out the house. Going back to help tomorrow. Went over to watch my nephews friday night so mom and dad could go to a christmas party. We had a great time, they are 8, 5 and 3. Got together for lunch with all of hubby's family for lunch yesterday and had a chance to catch up. Went to a christmas party last night with friends. There was a gift exchange and I got a Starbucks gift bag (coffee mug, xmas blend coffee, biscotti and a Starbucks gift card) and hubby got a darling bird feeder that looks like a fishing reel (he's loves to fish and loves to feed the birds and squirrels in our yard.) Going to see the Nutcracker and to dinner with some girlfriends this PM, looking forward to it. Talk tonight. Hugs, Rachel

Victoria Harbour, ON

Rachel sounds as though your world is pretty busy as well... your friends are correct..now is the time to do a few changes in house design seeing it will all be drywalled so expense probably no more than if you left it as is...

Is the wood drying up quickly? Hopefully no more rain...

I'm just as comfy as can be..not sure I want to get dressed today..lol...

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Betty- No rain yet today. It is dry fairly quickly. They will be running the heaters for several weeks during the day when someone is there so keep an eye on them. Now it's time to start cleaning up the shop and the machine shed.

Yes, busy time of year but I love it. Better wrap some presents now. Rachel

Snow/snow and more snow..can't even see where the plow did this morning...please/please let it stop snowing so I can get south..

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

morning all,

thankyou for your encouragement, it really helped. feeling much better, your right i have so much more to be thankful for and i love my DG family. you guys have always been there for me and i am thankful.
Oh if only i COULD come over! lol

seed, i totally understand how you feel, xmas is so much about the children. what cold hearted people. your children sound wonderful and i sure would be proud of them as well! you tell them how proud we are of them and that they acted with grace and dignity, they remember what xmas is about and who is most important in the middle of it all, niot the gift but the reason for the season. we send our love. i understand the hurt tho/

actually, every family xmas that i have gone too stuff like that has happened so its a blessing really that i dont have to go this time isnt it?!!
i have a wonderful loving family both in my home and here, im so lucky and so are you.
x

well sounds like winter has set in for sure for you guys. goodness your snow seemed to start suddenly!
its been warm here and summer is setting in. looking forward to 3 weeks off. only 4 more days!

well thanks again, i would be lost without you all. i wish you all happiness..

Jim Falls, WI(Zone 4a)

Betty so sorry you are being held up from starting your trip. The wait must be terrible. What a grand day you all had yesterday.

Jeannine that Murphy is growing up to be a beautiful dog! Gave me the idea to try and get a picture of Ty in front of mine for next year. We will see what can be done. LOL

Rachel That is a big project helping your friends and no fun tearing out a chimney. We have had to do that twice in our house. The first one didn't have a liner in the whole chimney. Just the top 3 feet! Yes chimney fire! then the next one wasn't put in properly and cracked!

Wonder-down-under sorry the family is the way they are but more important you have your kids back. The truth will win out sooner or later. What a great gift for Gunnar. That will be a big surprise!

Liz love your decorations. As soon as mine is all picked up I will get some pictures. Yesterday was a long day. Open an hour later and it wasn't worth it! Hope they do better today!

I know I have missed some of you but I have a ton to get done now that I know my youngest sister and her daughter will be here on the 22nd.. That's the good. The bad will be 3 long days at work this week. So will pop in when I can.

Jim Falls, WI(Zone 4a)

seed I knew I was missing something important! so sorry your family had to be that way. I think you handled it very good and so did your children. You are teaching them right and it shows.

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

good job, Seed! tell your children we said so.

GG, great shot of Murphy.

Betty, You will get here, just be patient. don't try to leave till it clears up.
Son left with Ethan at 11:30, because snow all through Illinois and so..........I am a little worried about them, of course, but he is a good driver and does have new tires on his car. Am trying to not think about it. Ashley leaves to go home on tuesday....am trying to not think about that either. We had our Christmas with her last night, and her gift to me was a flight to Fort Lauderdale in March. Yayyyyyyyy! Think I might start packing right now!

You folks stay warm and have a good Sunday afternoon

Baltimore, MD(Zone 7a)

Betty,

Where I live (and check this out once you get to FL as well) EVERY week in the Sunday paper there is a 40% off on one any regular priced item at Joannes and Michaels. They also take each other's coupons. Big savings! If you buy something for--say--$49.99, 40% of that is a lot of money saved.
We also have a third HUGE craft shop here called A.C. "Moore". That is my favorite. They also have the 40% off coupons. Maybe you can call someone in FL that you know and ask them if they have these.

OK! Safe trip! Don't do anything el-stupido!!!!

Hugs, Gita

Well I'm still here, wet and frozen..went out to do the pathways and decks and could not believe it..because everything is so white I thought it might be a few inches but since the plowman was here this morning we've had over 2' of snow...wow lot of shovelling..

Aline called to say she just got back from St. Catherines near Buffalo border crossing and it took her 6 1/2 hrs. and said that the main highway where I live only had 1 lane open and that lane was pretty bad.....just called Greg and he couldn't get to the airport so he must reshedule...

Shar, what a lovely Christmas gift..will be praying for your son and Ethan to arrive safely..worrysome isn't it?

Can feel the house getting colder..temps dropping...Sailor just went outside so I'll have to get her in before I forget...

Gita, will keep an eye on A.C.Moore..never heard of that craft shop..must have one in Florida I'm sure or if not, perhaps I'll come across one in my travels down or back..

Do want to post to each of you but I'm shivering so off I go for a hot bath to warm up and we'll see what tomorrow brings...

Still coming down heavily..

Oh, dear Betty...please be careful.

Just went out to get Sailor and saw that my neighbor was dressed for the cold and had his snowblower in hand in my drive and was going to do the driveway for me..about 200' of it..didn't see my car (is in storage while I'm on vacation) and thought I'd not make it in the drive so he'd help out...gave him thanks but said the plowman would make it shortly I'm sure...I probably made his day...lol...that's a lot of snowblowing...

I will be careful Shar..that accident did frighten me so I'll wait till roads are clean..it starting to blow right now, not much visibility so I'm safe, I'm comfy and what's another day!

Betty, the snow is beautiful but I know you want it to stop so you can hit the road. Feel free to send some our way! We've had rain all last night and this morning then sun and very windy! No snow... :(

Here is my latest craft!

PS - no nap, but that's ok!! No work tomorrow!!!!
