Nice folkwear.
Victor Should Write a Book
Iron???? I own an ironing board, but.............
I would be much more worried about the kids who expect to wear expesive clothes than the ones who can't make them. Paris comes to mind.
Wait a minute. Wasn't 'we'll still have Paris' from another thread?
I have an ironing board and an iron. I use it to press quilt material before I cut it. and that's all I use it for.
Victor, you're just jealous because you don't have a cheesemaker smock with French seams.
AYC, it's funny. I stopped making clothes when I started quilting, too. the best part is that they don't have to be fitted. I like squares :)
Paris seems to make it on every thread. (She also seems to make it on every...)
irony - yes.
ironic - yes.
iron clothes - you gotta be kidding!
Iraq
Iran
Iron
The axis of evil!
No - cleaning, cooking and ironing - that's the axis of evil.
I will cook
I will clean
But never, ever, ask me to iron!
When I shop for clothes I wad the fabric up in my hand and squeeze it for a few seconds, and if the wrinkles remain, so does the garment!
LOL!
I thought I was the only one who squeezed the clothing!!
'Please don't squeeze the jeans!'
Jean squeezer!
LOL!
Don't they make a kitchen appliance for that?
My ironing board is set up in the basement and it's a good place to set things!!! Eleanor
Poor Mr Whipple of the Charmin commercials recently passed. At least the toilet paper can go forward unmolested.
Now, THERE'S a point to ponder!
Does TP actually go forward?
I think I'll withdraw what I wrote.

Are you guys snowbound?
Candyce - one square at a time for some.
Not here, Gloria.
Me neither.
Not snowbound here.......I can spare a square of Charmin' for any of my DG friends.......
Ironing is dangerous......do NOT attempt it at home!
I can attest to ironing being dangerous. I never iron in the nude - after that last accident . . .
If ever there was a setup...
LOL, Cat!
Victor - is your book about ironing? Eleanor
There are a few wrinkles in it!
"The Boy Who Lived Under the Stairs...memoires from the basement" by Victorgardener.
"....tormented by his demons, and managing to survive by virtue of his wit, VG tells the incredible and gripping tale of banishment to a life beneath the floorboards.
Powerful and gut wrenching. A "must read".
Martha Stewart.
I hope you get them ironed out or we will have to come up with another topic for you!! Eleanor
I think we might be able to keep this going until spring. You guys are hysterical. It's 6:30 am...I'm LOL' ing, literally. and if you made me wake up DH I'll kill you. This is my 'me' time.
It's my 'me' time, too ... and the youngest DGD just woke up!!!
I love early moning too, sometimes a walk, today it was shoveling snow, but then come in to coffee and DG. All while DH is still asnooze.
It sure is darker than usual this morning, isn't it?
Yeah - oldest DGD and I got a bit of shoveling in already. We had to. The dog would NOT set one paw outside until she could see the steps!
My dog loves to tunnel under the snow with his face, puts his face right in the snow and runs like that.
Our Sheltie loves to do that, too. But, she hates stairs!
It looks like we have gotten about four inches of snow already. I see, on the TV, that even most of NY state is under the same winter storm warning.
Enjoy that white stuff! All we got down here is wind!
It has been sleeting here all night! I get up at 6 am on the weekends just to feed the cats and then I can go back to sleep for a couple of hours. I didn't see the charity cat at the front door at 6, but left the food in the most sheltered spot on the porch. When I opened the door a 9 - there he was - covered in sleet, looking like he was sopping wet. I carried him into the bathroom and towelled him off and fed him. The cat is so fluffy that only the top layer of fur was wet! He stayed in the warm for a hour and then I had to put him back outside as the sleeting seems to have slowed. He has a home - somewhere - he just loves to eat at my house and Holly is frightened of him and Wallingford goes on the attack when he sees him!
AYC...that name Wallingford is the BEST cat name I've ever heard !
It is long for Wally. My cats are Holly and Wally. (I like rhyming names.) Wallingford is also a city in Connecticut that I go through to get to the airport. But the charity cat - I call him(?) Me-yow. LOL
Now you need a Polly!
2 is enough!
