Celeste & Yankee, count me in as a member of the Lefty League, too! After all, we ARE more creative than righties.

Yankee - I just looked up your name in the address exchange - I love it - Memory! (Hope you didn't mind.)

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

It's OK - just don't tell Carrie - she thinks I am "Emily". LOL!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm a rightie, but practically ambidextrous. I can bat lefty and throw reasonably well. I'm an 'innie' too!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Actually I am like Victor - bi-ambidextrous - some things I do with either hand and some like using scissors I always do with my right hand. No wonder I'm always confused!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

'bi-ambidextrous'?!!! Sounds Gumby-ish.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Opps! It is really called bi-dextrous. See - there is that right brain left brain fighting thing again.

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

Memory, be careful about saying you're "like Victor". I don't know if I'd want that for my claim to fame! LOL!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hey - I got feelings over here!!

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

oh man...is this "Pick on Victor day"? LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Tell me about it! What did I do wrong??

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

you started this thread !!!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I like Victor. I just wish he had more stinking hellebores!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks Cat. I wish I had more too! Maybe someone who sells them will see the article and send me some free ones. If they do, I'll share with you!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

That's a deal then.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Maybe Santa will bring him some this year...

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

- He'd better wear a gas mask!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

They don't really stink! Didn't you read the article, WC?!!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

- They stink! LOL!

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

BTW - Check your accuW forecast VG, storm is supposed to strengthen and come back.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

And the wind direction has already changed 180 degrees. This morning it was blowing from the North. Now it is blowing from the South. But it's still not warm enough to snow just yet. It's only 19* outside still.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Ambidextrous wind??

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Hi! (she said, brightly) I'm back, did you miss me? Shucks, I know you did, because my personality slipped while I was out and it won't slip back! I mean speaking about myself in the third person, Michaela making a grammar/spelling boo-boo and I'm too tightly wound to let it pass, I'm calling Yankee "Emily" when her real name is "Memory" and then who the heck is Emily? Down at the end of the table. I'm trying to put everyone in their seats with their names AND their faces but it's not working! xxxx, Carrie

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

Carrie, CapeCodGardener is Emily - was she there? So I guess we're called the "personality chiropractor" huh?

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

What spelling/grammar mistake? Me???? Well, I never . . . . . lol

And, yes, bbrookrd, I am a Canadian :-) (wish I had a little maple leaf symbol)

I am from Lotus Land.

Edited to add: of course we missed you Carrie -what is a day without your wit added to our delight?

Can I please just be Cat or Yank or AYC or YC?

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Cat, I think "Cat" is just great!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Me too.

Upper Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5a)

Nice to meet you Cat - I like the name too!! Eleanor

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

I might need more choices yet.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I've always used 'Cat' - maybe because I'm a cat person. Since we lost to the South again, maybe we can discuss alternative names for everyone.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Just don't call any of us 'late for dinner'!

PS ~ I have most always used 'Cat' when speaking of, or to, AYC. I love it, and it evokes such a calming picture in my mind.

Pur-r-r-r-r-r

Hi everyone! I’m WaterCan2! You can call me WC! Hi Cat!

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
Oh! You better watch out,
You better not cry,
You better not pout,
I'm telling you …

Here’s the whole song!

http://www.christmas-carols.net/carols/santa-claus-coming-town.html

It’s Christmas Time!! ☺

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Off topic here...(if indeed there is a topic, LOL ) but here 's a good one:

Yesterday I helped a friend pick up her Xmas tree with my truck. While we were waiting for the guy to get it and bring it to us, I was looking at one of the bottles of liquid fire retardants. The directions read:

Make sure tree is dry before using product.
Spray product on tree and allow to dry about one hour.
Hold match to tree.
If tree ignites, repeat procedure.

BRILLIANT !

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I know. I know. You went to the "Dumb Christmas Tree Farm". Did you try it and how bad were the burns?

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

OHHHHHH that's right! Capcodgardener is emily, Cat is Cat. x. C

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

if we LOST to the South then I better do this in separate posts. x, Carrie

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Besides, it'll help me remember to repeat it. Cat, AYC, Yank, M, or preferably just Cat is Cat, and you werre there! (Didn't fix that spelling mistake - I thought it made you seem more feline!) x, c

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Cape, a.k.a. a ranch, a saltbox, a colonial, is Emily, and she was also there! Proving for once and for all, if your mind is like swiss cheese, it doesn't matter how many mnemonic devices you use! xxx, Carrie

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Actually Carrie - I sat between you and Harper. Emily and I are both from California - more trivia.
