CLOSED: UNUSUAL SEED SWAP #2

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

did you get any split personality? I grew those this year and they are awesome. Look like clematis almost!

Nelson, NH(Zone 5a)

No-I've seen pics-they do look VERY cool. I'm in love for sure!

Nelson, NH(Zone 5a)

I just posted this on the geranium forum-but thought I would here too.
The tag says 'red feather' I figure it is a kind of fish geranium, but I can't find anything to correlate on-line. I have even checked cats. that specialize in geraniums???

Rebecca-I'm so glad you liked the pics! I love the south!! I have been going to an island in SC since I was a kid and I have quite the spiritual connection with that area-far from you though-it's close to Charleston. I love New England though! I have lived in New england for 17 years now (WOW) And despite the fact that I love it when it is hot and humid(many people stare at me in disbelief when I say that) I WOULD miss the snow

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

Rebecca30 seeds arrived today. Will log them in later, after the g'kids take a nap or go to bed.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Buy more dirt!

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Do what I have done - find a neglected public park, and ask local neighbours if they mind if you start a small garden - once that is thriving, you might be able to slowly make more small gardens. Keep the gardens off to the side so people can play frizbe with the dog, etc. As long as you (1) don't ask for money, and (2) don't ask for help, you can probably get away with it. Just call it a local beautification project. Oh, and make sure you only plant family friendly plants - don't want anyone scratched or poisoned.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

What a great idea!!!

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

hey! I finally found a pic of those dianthus morning glory seeds Hillbilly Gran sent in. Im keeping a pack for me....wow they are cool... http://cgi.ebay.com/WILLOW-DIANTHUS-Japanese-Morning-Glory-seeds-RARE-D-MUT_W0QQitemZ110193735039QQihZ001QQcategoryZ75624QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Chickenville, FL(Zone 9a)

Wow those dianthus MG's are awesome!! I want some too lol :P

Seander,
I would also like black current swirl datura (those are the tall ones right (5 ft or so?). I have double purple ballerina datura (they have a large double purple flower but the plant remains dwarf sized). So taller ones would be nice.

Edited to say : I wonder if the sunrise serenade and split personality MGs are the same thing? They sort of look the same. Does anyone know?

Well, I'm trying very hard to just hold off with my wants until Theresa gets them all like she asked, but after viewing that Dianthus Morning Glory I'd just like to say I'd be happy with even just 4 or 5 seeds of that one. :-)
Never seen anything like that. WOW!!!!

I probably won't be getting my seeds in until the first part of Dec. I've been so busy I haven't even had much time at the computer. Things will slow down for awhile after Thanksgiving though. I'll get them in by the due date for sure.

Joy

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

thanks Joy. I will be announcing to email me with requests after all seeds are here.
Hope you, and everyone has a great Thanksgiving....
