No problem here either-take your time. It has been really crazy this year. I think we are all really busy. The other day I left to go grocery shopping. I had gotten dressed, put on makeup etc. and got halfway to the store-and realized I had totally forgotten to comb my hair at all !!! LOL-who does that? I didn't have a brush in the car and it was really a mess too ha. O well :) Thanks for doing the swap and happy holidays everyone!

Kalama, WA(Zone 8b)

Hi Theresa, thanks again for this delightful seed swap. I should have put down Amaryllis hippeastrum but was tired. Do you have any left? Let me know. If not, no problem. There will be other seed swaps. I sent in 55 packets of seeds & received close to 60 back. More than fair. Merry Christmas to you & your family & all the donors of this seed swap. we must report back next Spring & see how well we are doing with our sprouts. Buttoneer

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

Sorry, no more amaryllis buttoneer.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Normally, I try to respond to everyone from whom I have received seeds, but I was so pressed for time yesterday, I simply sorted them into the months in which they are to be sown.

So - if I missed you this time, it is not because I don't appreciate the seeds - I LOVE them, and I will thank you personally next time.

Cheers,
Michaela

Nelson, NH(Zone 5a)

Hey everyone-This is diverging from the subject of the swap momentarily. If anyone may know Carol Eads, she is an amazing woman and fellow DGer. She was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer a few months ago. There is a site that another DGer, Shawna Khalily, set up for her. The noble effort can not be discussed here on the forums, but if you have questions contact me via dmail. Here is the site-please visit http://ceadsalaska.webs.com/
This is her current thread on DG now up to 12!! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/798521/
It started here http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/779992/

(Zone 7a)

Thank you Theresa and All - received my seeds and am delighted with them. Flowerhead, thankyou for posting those links for Carol.

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

Thank You Theresa!! recevied most of my requests! Great job!! I was looking at the Jap. white berry bush seeds--do you think these could be a variety of Euonymus? Seed pods are very similar to my burning bush seeds-hmmmmmm.
Tommie

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

I will have to check and see about the white berry bush Gran. Lori bought it years ago and its a very attractive bush. I hope it grows well for you. :)

(Zone 7a)

Hillbilly_Gran and Theresa, there's a white form of Beautyberry (Callicarpa sp.), that although may be American (per comment) - might this be a Japanese relative? -

http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/69461/

Would anyone have any idea what "curly pods" are? There is no common name by the description in PlantFiles. A description would help.

Carlisle, PA(Zone 6b)

I'll look it up; brb

Carlisle, PA(Zone 6b)

Adenanthera pavonina (Red Sandalwood) used in potpourri. That's the best I can do. It is zone 8 or 9.
