well its 5.00 and three more props to the shed in the back yard and ITS ALL DONE! whoo hoo gosh its been a long day dh came home mid morning and helped so it was a breeze.

judy, glad your son can hold his own too funny save me some seeds from that whopper i'd like to try to grow some here, sawsall i cant wait to see that lol

Betty I agree 100% with Laura and thought the same myself. One time a patient who was a police officer was very depressed, acted real strange and was giving things away as he left the office. I didn't know he was going to kill himself but I knew something was DEAD wrong and thought of a couple of things I should have done, one would have more effected my job than it already had (I kept him in my room talking to him long after his appointment and people were banging on the door to take the next patient so I let him leave though I was worried and it was against my heart. I wanted to call to check on him but thought his wife might have thought it funny since he announced she was leaving him. He shot himself. I will never forget that and so now, WHATEVER YOU FEEL LIKE YOU COULD DO, YOU MUST DO. NO DO OVERS ON THAT ONE. WISH THERE WAS.

OMG that was the most horendous experience... i wont go into details but i am exhausted. it was horrible. the things they said about me.. and non were true, i am just dumbfounded. the one who told me to go for it, helped me, made suggestions, stabbed me in the back! my trainer, told them i didnt fit into her car and that she couldnt change the gears with me there and all sorts!! it was a freaking huge ford for goodness sake with a console in the middle!! i was no where near her! iam so upset and hurt.
they wouldnt look at me or answer me directly like i didnt exist.... im just too upset to talk about it....
i have no idea what future i have at work.....aweful, just aweful

Laura, wish I were closer so I could wrap my arms around you and hug you to death...OMG NOT how we had hoped it would end..you must be so sad and hurt...cannot imagine people such as this...God is watching .. He knows the truth Laura!!! Laura it is so hard to believe people can be like that! The sad thing about that is they are thinking of their jobs not yours. So hope it ends well for you though and that the others see thru them. Many hugs and wishes for a good outcome.

Bright morning but on the cooler side...in the house till 1:00 so it's given me a chance to fill get the 'Santa Sleigh" workshop materials organized, in pkgs. ready to send out this aft.

I am including Santa's for you to finish cutting out/sparkle snow, diamond dust, pattern for top of sleigh and runners (but you can make your own providing of course the santa can fit on it)..I will try to add 'dap' which will be put on as snow in final stages..you don't need much so hate to see you all purchase a container, so will put some in zip lock bags in hopes that it will not harden..we'll see...so after I mail everything out and you've received it..we're ready for our project together...

Greg called me last night to say that Allan, remember Irene that I grew up with, although an Aunt, we were like sisters and she passed away recently, well her hubby was rushed into the hospital yesterday, they thought pneumonia but last night they operated and took out 4 or 5 ft. of intestines..not sure what that means, but will be heading to the hospital this aft.

Sister in law called and reminded me that this Sat. project that I had given 5 of them the same Santa as I'm doing..so it's into my project books and idea bag for something that they can do different...lol...ok, that will be fun...

Vicki, that's a lot of years since you've shelled out..were the children young or in their teens??? regardless, it was nice to see them at the door...

Laura, please know we are all praying for you! I am a firm believer that God does not put anything in front of us that he doesn't think we can handle so keep the faith. You may not be able to see the reasons for the way things are going now, but one day you will. I am sorry you are having to go through this.

Well, it's friday and I've been at work for almost 2 hrs. I plan on leaving around 2:00 today cause we're going ..... camping! whoo hoo! Joy to the world! NOT! This is our annual camping trip where we take the boat to be winterized. Last year we camped in a cold tropical storm where the site flooded and our brand new tent leaked. This year, we've sealed the seams to the tent and no rain is expected but we undoubtedly will freeze our buns off AND the state has a ban on camp fires because of the drought. So.... I went out the other night and bought one of those portable fire pits to keep warm. I'll let you know if we survive!!

Jeannine, you have a wonderful 'camping' weekend..know it's sad when you put the boat away..we're doing same on Sunday, well not really 'we' - Greg is..then into the yard it comes...you sound as though you are well prepared..you'll be okay...p.s. funny you posted because I just filled an envelop (this time it will get to you..ornaments still coming..lol..) for a mom and daughter project...if you've no time that's ok, but just incase thought it might be something for both of you to enjoy..daughter may want to give it to grandparents or teacher or just keep it...

Liz, yes it should be ok..doesn't say glossy though does it? Now remember, when you are working with the stardust, it can get all over, looks so pretty, BUT be careful not to overdo and DO NOT open till class as not to have sparkle city within your house...

Had 2 girlfriends drop in and I'm still it nightly..work better that way..won't dust/dust until all my wood is cut, hate seeing remnants of dust on the floor but it would be a waste of time..might just do a quick sweep as I'm sure my mom will be dropping in..hope the ornament from the swap, and the cross stitch quilt kit is in this morning...would make my day...

Watching the clock for 1:00pm so I can get out and get things done...it will take me most of the day to do so...

I'm looking at my social calendar (now I am laughing) but, it is almost full, so, if I work between cutting projects, getting everything organized..everything halloween put away I just might take things out so that it won't be a chore come decorating time, plus, next Sat. is first workshop and want everyone to feel like it's Santa's workshop..so, know it's early for EVERYONE else but not this christmas elf working in Santa's workshop...lol...

Think I'd better get dressed, imagine, still in nightly...anyone seeing me might think I'm lazy...

It's 10:56 and i am in my Pj's today because Greg went with his dd birthday and Christmas shopping and so I'm just being in no hurry as I have no big plans yet but watering deeply some of my neglected roses.

Laura did you have notes with you? Did the represenative speak at all? ( The one who went to represent you). Documentation is so key in these cases because once they know they are going to be sued they tend to ally together and have a concocted story. One hard to dispute without documentation. People are so biased about weight. I hate that. I have had discrimination made about my weight before too. It is them and their false opinions of how people with a weight problem are.

You are a beautiful and wonderful woman/ inside and out, they are probably not all that to look at and have BAD personalities TO BOOT. Let us judge that. Y O U W I N.

Back from town, Uncle Allan is doing ok..not out of the woods yet but I'm sure the Lord willing he'll be ok...the doctor told him 'Allan, I just saved your life!' so it must have been pretty bad..brough flowers and sat with cousin Dougie, love him to bits..such a sweetheart so aft. wasn't bad...

Picked up all my wood, tired dragging it downstairs..going to organize myself and get up early early and cut most of it..then go through materials needed and take another ride into town either Sat. or Sun.

Was invited out for supper at Suzanne's - my BIL's birthday but think I'll pass...filled myself up with McDonalds....

All envelops of goodies are on their way...

Well...today was the day to finish...I am now up to date with all the projects...
Last night went shopping and got all the material for HW party tomorrow night.
Lots of sewing tonight, will have to pull an all nighter! Spent some of my breaks to see all the photo contest and enteries between yesterday and today...Wow, wow and wow...I am amazed at the talent, it was real tough and changed my mind a couple of times but my votes are in.

Not much except sewing going on in my world...so I'll check in later.

Greg dropped in, should have known something was up because he was smilling from ear to ear..told me to come outside and see what $14,000 would buy..lol...he and his brother both bought new snowmachines and got to pick them up today..no snow, not likely to have enough snow/ice until Christmas at least..pitty Melanie, because he'll have that machine inside the garage, spit and polishing and sitting on it getting the feel..gauges are like those on an airplane..even tell him what altitude he's at..they've come a long way..not sure I like the style, but then it's not mine..right?

At one time they had a large windshield to shield you from the wind but guess now they go so fast it's not necessary...looks like a monster from outer space...so, Halloween done and we are all thinking 'winter/winter' he's hoping for a blizzard!!!! lol

Morning Carol, no snow but ice on the windshields...just got back home from bringing Sailor to have her nails clipped and groomed..on the way home cut some pine and cedar branches so I can take down the hanging planters and create winter ones..figured while cutting allt his wood I'd take breaks and be creative in the floral dept..purchased red poinsietta's at Michaels on Thursday night as well as some wet floral blocks..little ahead of the game, just took the white materials from outside christmas tree that I had set up for the ghost..might as well leave it, only a few more weeks before we can start turning on Christmas lights..after freezing my hands and butt off last year in freezing weather I decided it wouldn't happen this year...

Sounds as though you were able to purchase some great items on sale..I need to shop for shoes, but think I'll wait for my lunch hour breaks this week and do so...

Liz, what temps would you have in California that you would need heat on??? never think of California as getting that cold....

nights drop down to 49 lol thats probably warm for you it warms up to the 60-70's still in the day but its cold at night i can always tell when it gets cold the dog sits in frount of the wall heater and stares at me..
boy im so discusted right now the simplest of projects and a big fat zero, i can remember years ago in places like kmart and your gemco you use to find pillgram people that were made of plastic and painted up and they light up at the frount pourch well forget it they dont exsist in a store anymore well at least out here, on a wild goose chase yesterday so then i decided to make some out of 4x4 wood simple right nope no free patterns on line for a 3 or 4 foot tall one pleanty of patterns for small scale for your table so off to home depot just going to make a pumkpin toppiery instead oh befor i forget out here michaels has halloween at 90.% off so i got 6 pumpkins for under 9.00

carol, its always nice to pick up something for yourself, but even when i go shop for others somehow it becomes oh if she gets one so do i lol

All is quiet here..I am up having coffee and sewed my pumpkin suite together...Nothing fancy for me just so it's orange ha! Stayed up till
about 12:30 but got the purple Peter Pan outfit done and started the Pancake...(last minute idea) Now to begin the Pixie outfi...dress everything up with last minute assessories, yow think next year I'll buy the stuff...Forgot how much time stuff takes to make, once i got started it was better. After making pattern for Peter Pan ...I literally was jumping up and down screaming I made it..It worked!! No time for mistakes, and trying to remember which way to lay the pattern was mind boggling...had to talk myself on all...ok so if I lay it this when its open it will be two opposite backsides, scratch my my head...,should work..LOL take deep breath sew peices to gether and whalla...Leggings!

Checked out the dap package that I kept as a trial..still soft and pliable so let's hope it stays same until you get it..once you get it, please put it in a container so it doesn't harden-that way you won't have to put any money out for it as you need so little...

No Liz...it's pine..12" wide by 5' high..of course once the arms are added he's a wider and dimensional..base is 4" thick wood..was a fun project to do...
The snowman is done on a tomato cage with flickering lights attached to it and the material added..so pretty when lit..it was one of my workshops many moons ago...

however sil is going now im just a little irritated with her she's only going because there is a bday involved dont think to go help out her mother and take the load off us not that i mind but what is so important in her life that she cant take a moment out of her weekend to help! then she says oh and on the way i want to stop at the superwalmart (the nerve) dh is irritated to but im keeping quiet lol

Liz, hate to tell you but pine for runners is better..it's just when you are doing workshop you have to cut back..you are so creative...and you say I never stop..hmmm Martha has nothing on us!

Well it's early morning, Kyle and Noah slept over..Noah's away watching t.v. but Kyle is sound asleep..I'm going to do what I can to stay quiet, making list of supplies needed, CHUNKING off wood pieces (hope to keep my fingers) by then they'll be up for breakfast and on their way home...they love coming to grandma's because they can go over and order pizza,poutine etc. on Sat. night and it's grandma's treat..lol

Got a call last night from the other 2 munchkins in Toronto..they played hockey on Fri.night and 2 yesterday..called to say how much fun they had..Caleb was anxious to tell me that in his Halloween trek quite a few times he knocked on doors they'd say 'Sorry no banana's today!" he thought that was way to 'sweet' new work for cool...

but of all the nerve yesterday get this... drainning the pool dh lets out a yell i go to see what is wrong the sewer line backed up again so he fixes it then i found out from my grandmother that she read in the paper that san mateo is having some sewer problems i cant believe this this is the 4th time this last 6mths its not the house its the back ladderal line that connects to the main geez

how fun to have the boys and to spoil them no wonder they just love to come and visit you lol there they go changing all the lingo just when we think we got it all down lol how funny i bet it took him back for a breif second thinking what banana's

oh im never going to hear the end of the pine dh loves to gloat on such things i guess i'll tell him with a frying pan in one hand lol.

well have to get ready sil will be here soon i think im so lost they had us change the clocks and dh said what are you doing up at three so i dont know what is the real time yet.

Guess there will be one less at my family/friend craft workshop on Saturday..sister just msn'd me and basically told me to shut my 'big'mouth..hmmm...me who is the only one in the family who stays quiet..said Jeff called to offer support for Brian and Brian is so angry that his mother mentioned what happened let alone the 'hanging' part to anyone let alone my children....oh well..I'm a big girl ..I can take it..rather caution on the side I chose than not do anything....just upsetting...

Made it to Midland and Penetang..visited elderly Aunt (like sister-raised together) and then another trip to see Alan in hospital..did a few calls, yup, me and my big mouth..anyway I've a couple of cousins who live out of town and I'm the one who always let's them know if someone is ill or has died..so did call and let them know..Linda returned my call and said 'ok Bet, whose dead' seems the only time we take to talk is when somethng terrible happens...am sure that's the same for many families..anyway..do know, it's the only thing I could have done....Must surely be a case of old age...DO NOT like or appreciate any ups and downs in my life (drama/drama) can live without it, but seems it finds me regardless...

I've finished all the cutting, I've done some shopping for the projects, I've got turkey out for supper, need to dust and clean downstairs re craft room and rec room and then think I'll call it a night...

If I don't fall asleep to early I'll be back to post my best/worse and what I learnt...
