Thank you! I was having computer withdrawls - even though I work on a computer all day!
Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor XVII
It's so different when you have to work on one. I used to get withdrawals when I was at work, too, because I couldn't use the computer the way "I" wanted to use the computer!! No one could understand why I was on the computer 8 - 10 hours a day at work, and then WANTED to be on the computer at home for another four or five hours!!
Michelin Man??
Hard to see in winter.
I will bet that your neighbors have a name for you, too.
and secret photos
Nah - the photos are probably on YouTube by now.
'Weird Al' has already been taken.
I would accept crazy lawn guy or lawn nazi. I should get one of the mower guy who has OCD about touching all the cars he rides pulling his mower behind him.
Dave, rutabagas and persimmons are both edible! Too logical.
x C
Al - would be more interesting if the OCD guy had to touch all the women he went by. He could be the Green Groper.
LOL
Wonder if this works on humans?

one of me at work, one online, one in the garden, one sitting on the couch getting yelled at by the wife - the possibilities are endless!
Send in the clones!
well, maybe next year...
Don't bother, they're here!!
heehee.
Sondheim wrote "Send in the Clowns" in all those short phrases (and in a limited range) because Glynis Johns, who originated the role of Desiree wasn't a trained singer and she couldn't sustain longer phrasing without taking a breath. And thus was a modern standard born.

geez, I'd say :)
Impressive, Amy!!
Yes - cool Amy. Do you go to Broadway often?
Pretty often. i have worked in theatre for most of my life - i am a stage manager and lighting tech (sometimes designer). My DH, along with teaching here, continues his work as a production mgr and lighting designer for an intermittently touring artist, and writes software for theatrical lighting applications. In his free time. Of which he has none.
But yes, we probably average about one Broadway/off B'way show a month. I love musicals more than anything, but have strong opinions on which ones. More interesting work tends to be done off b'way. The Broadway shows i see are usually because i am a fan of (or occasionally know) someone in the cast.
We love musicals too. Are you working now? I thought you were in school. What are some of your favorite Broadway shows? I haven't seen any off-Broadway ones. I hated Cats! Liked Kiss of the Spider Woman with Vanessa. Liked Damn Yankees. (Joe Torre's current emotion.)
supercalifragilistikespyaladocious

I love Glynis Johns.
I love long johns.

Do you know The Court Jester with her and Danny Kaye? "the flagon with the dragon..."

The chalice in the palace.
has the brew that is true
What are the kind you eat?
donuts..?
I like donuts but I was talking about the kind you wear.
I didn't know you meant donuts.......

i just learned i can do this!
♥
When we were kids my dad had us all trained:
dad: Get it?
kid: Got it!
Dad: Good.
And there are so many classic actors in there - Glynis Johns, Danny Kaye, Angela Lansbury, Basil Rathbone, I'm sure there are more I just can't think of.
PS I've already got my long underwear on for the winter! DH sews me in in October and takes me out in April....
Sunflower seed bait??
Yuck.
