Fall Color 2

This one is on our back 40 and I love it but know by the weekend I will be raking those pretty leaves.

Great shots Celeste! Yes those two nuisance plants are beautiful in the Fall. I hope to see some good color this weekend. We will be in CT.

I love your "Country Roads" pixie! This is a wonderful time of year here in the NE but it doesn't last long enough and it is what comes after that gets ya, oh well, good thing we have all these pics to enjoy over and over again. :)

Celeste - those are lovely, bright fall shots!! We took some photos on our morning walk by the lake. It is very pretty now, but the colors still aren't as bright as usual. This shot is now my computer desktop background for awhile.....

Deb - those are just beautiful! I would never have thought to take a shot of the rear view mirror! How interesting that shot is!! Where is the second shot taken? That is so nicely framed!

The second shot is near Baxter SP in Maine, or maybe in the park. I keep telling myself to take a vacation journal with me because it's so easy to forget everything you see along the way.

Maine is such a beautiful state! And I can relate to your journal comment.....Even if I take one, I get distracted from writing in it too easily.

What I want is a camera like Andy's, where you can take a shot and then speak into the camera. Now, THERE'S a way to keep track of the photos!!!

DH & DS went bird hunting yesterday and took a few shots of the foliage and wildlife.

They really didn't do to bad......considering they took my camera!

I asked DH why the tree is positioned so awkwardly to the left of the photo....he didn't know. He said it was the camera's fault as he had it on Landscape/Zoom. Umm....OK

Neither one of them plays with my camera very often so they aren't familar with the settings.

So this is all the camera's doing.... DH & DS just pushed the buttom.

Looks like the guys did just wonderfully with your camera. Those are great colors.

DH was pretty sure this was an Eagle, he could tell by the shape of it's head and the size of the wing span....he just wasn't sure what kind.

I was really impressed as they not only zoomed in on the Eagle...but it was a Golden Eagle!!

A pair of fawns were playing in the meadow.

Momma wasn't to far away.

You will have to excuse the blurr.....DH has to take most of the shots from the truck as he still can't walk real well. But it got him out to places he loves to go and watch the wildlife which he has so missed.

I am impressed with the deer and especially the eagle photos!!
I love just sitting and watching the eagles ... he's a lucky man.

I told my DH I wouldn't mind retiring to either VT, NH or ME!
Nice pics, love the eagle. I like the awkard tree too, how it stands out in front of all the other fall foliage.

He was feeling very lucky after seeing the G. Eagle, those are rare and he felt blessed. It made his day! My DH is very much an outdoors kinda guy....loves hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and hasn't been able to do any of that this summer. It has been a very long hard summer for him and this little trip did wonders for his spirit. When he got home his foot was the size of football but his spirit was soaring with the Eagle!!!
