Maybe . . I have to find a conference, then write a paper, then get the paper accepted. :-)
12th Step Recovery Program for plantaholics. You might be ..
Oh sheesh, all these strings attached to a free trip to the UK! Start writing right now Seandor! Write write write! Write until your finger tips are numb!
Are you kidding????? Right now I have to mark, mark, mark until my finger tips are numb - there are only 2 weeks left in the term!

you may be a plantaholic if you email the hyperlinks for newly discovered rose companies, with specific lists for each company with a reminder that Christmas is coming!

omg, now that is just beautiful and clever, an indoor greenhouse with a pond!
i have never seen anything like that before. very cool!
Georgia, that is flat out beautiful. Praise for the plantaholic in you:)))
Uhoh! I might have to post my "Rainforest" in the basement:>)))
georgiagarden3, what a beautiful green house and such a lovely idea, thank you!
Thank you all for the wonderful comments, But I can't take all the credit DH is the Master of that Paradise,He has designed every layout and the pond, We have a great system, I research, hunt and buy the plants and he places them(with some help lol).
Here is a better view of the GH

Rainforest basement? pictures PLEASE..
Everyone who has winter depression should have a greenhouse like that. Do you lay around on the round bed in the center? I'm lusting here.
Cathy,The lounge chair is well used,LOL The hanging baskets you see running along the top have small night-lite bulbs in them and they put just the right amount of light for rest and relaxing..
OOOLALA!
Relaxing surrounded by plants while hearing a waterfall. Hum Hum... Paradise in Georgia without the gnats!. Sounds wonderful, GG3!
Georgia, Because of health problems, I have to rest in bed for several hours each afternoon. When the weather is nice, I go outside. I'm not kidding when I say I WANT your greenhouse!
Georgia, that's beautiful!
You might be a plantaholic if you purposely save at least two weeks of vacation each year so you can get "paid out"and then put it aside, along with Christmas bonus and annual bonus, to be used entirely for next spring's purchases.
You might be a plantaholic if, after the winter savings is long gone, you continue to buy plants, but hurry and plant them before DH comes home so he hopefully won't notice...
Wow - is that sooo true, SongsofJoy - especially, trying to plant the stuff before DH notices! - Except my DH is retired and he gets the boxes before I do!
Seandor... that is poor planning. You need to settle him in with a little job or some volunteer work somewhere so he won't know about the boxes!!!
psychw2, I do so love a woman with an evil twisted mind............You my kinda gal! Yep, the boy needs something else to do for awhile.........LOL
Gosh... Whatever do you mean??? (With wide open eyes, blinking in atonishment. Its my innocent looks that help me get away with my devious plans.)
OMG - ya'll are just too funny...thank God it's only a couple of teens that I have to "semi" hide new plant purchases from. And after bringing in all the non-hardy ones...let's just say there's literally NO room in the inn for more...LOL. Hmmm...wondering if I can make some more room at work - the patients seem to like the unique plants. ;-) That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!!
I just happened to come across this thread while doing a Google search. I definitely qualify as a plantaholic as evidenced in the confessional article I wrote on DG a few weeks ago. If you haven't read it, you may find some comfort in knowing that your addiction may not be as far over the edge as mine.

Jeremy....your story is priceless...thanks!
Jeremy, I had a close call at Lowe's this fall, but I remembered your article and stopped at one car load. Thanks plantaholic buddy.
Jeremy, how did I miss your article the first time it ran? Oh, you should be writing gardening novels for a living because this one is a best seller!
Jeremy, I just read your article and am still laughing! Boy did you hit it on the mark! LOL
