Pixie - in that annual combo with the little daisies and the purple/blue flowers, what are each of those please??? I love the cheery combo!

DB, those are African Daisy's & Purple Verbena . I also have the purple African daisy with a white verbena that has purple spots.

Very pretty, Pixie....do you have a pic of the purple/white verbena? love the colors together!

Here ya go DB....not the best shot. DH says it looks like the daisy is dripping all those spots on the verbena.

oooooh Celeste I love that verbena too..... I can just imagine it planted on a strawberry pot.... I actually have one with Verbenas right now.... love that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I know it's an annual here....but I have known it to survive in z6. I have no idea what the names are, I bought a packet of different colors at my local hardware/yard place. These are what I got but not all lived.

Victor - I sure admire/adore/mutually respect.LOL the Tigers Eyes, you will have to let us know how the spreading is.

I'll keep you posted. It's about three ft H x W now. I tried one last year but it died. I think it was too wet.

Luv the verbena, you should call it daisy dripping verbena, it would be a perfect name.

Victor , how many plants did you start out with in this bed? A gorgeous drift of sunny color. When the sedum next to it gets going it must be really something. Nice effect with the dark coleus too. I also notice you have rocks along the edges of the bed. Do you have a lot when you dig up new ground? I would like 1 dollar for every rock I have moved out of planting beds here. Then I could hire someone to take out the rest of them. :)

Maybe you should have a rock digging round up and get rid of what you don't want.

Please don't mention the stones!! One of my biggest mistakes. Was talked into using the small river rock as an edge. What a disaster.

The Rudbeckia was originally only 9 plants. Makes a great ground cover. Weeds cannot establish themselves.

Victor, What a coincidence that the house you bought had a "C" on it. What are the chances? (1 IN 26?)

hey victor do you have any pictures of the blooms on the 'Kopper King'.... (even though it was eaten) I just picked one up this weekend a local nursery had perennials on sale gallon size for $10.00... couldn't say no to that one
