Well jeez Harper - what's up with the laziness? Looks pretty good anyway. I get weigela blooming some later in the summer on new growth.
Kass - Dutch Explosion looks like that I think.
Whats blooming today #10
Al -Andrew will play with your dog anytime! He is only 2.5 years old and when there are no tennis balls in sight, will play and wrestle. Last night he took a run through the cornfields with his buddies Cooper and Roxy.... they were all pooped!
Not much blooming this morning - I think the garden is resting until it gets cooler - here is a mystery glad from the Christmas Tree Shop.....
nice glad from the Christmas tree shop... we have 2 that i consider driving distance.... LOVE THAT PLACE
I picked up some oregano this year.... can't wait for it to get bigger now... very pretty
If you get to the Christmas tree shop early enough, you can get some good seeds and starter plants. I have many spider plants from the little 2" or 3" potted one i got last year...
Just noticed one of my shots was used on Bloom.com:

tamberlin last year at the Christmas tree store ... i picked up some paper whites & hyacinth to force indoors.... the paper whites were great.... hyacinth never bloomed... my neighbor bought some daffs that were dirt cheap.... all bloomed nicely for her

Thanks Allison. Like your Azalea. Cool that it was on your birthday.
Congratulations Victor and Allison.
Beautiful Tirella, Victor. Your photo of it is very crisp, too. Great work!
Wow, Allison! That's one of the most gorgeous Rhododendron I have ever seen. Did you do anything special for it to look so healthy?
Thank you Candyce.
Nice photo's everyone!! Good job! I have to get my behind out there and take some more shots soon.
You might want to bring the rest of you as well, Dawn.
Sofonisba i missed your earlier post... my weigela bloomed in spring and blooming again now ..... not as profuse as spring... but has some blooms on it
candyce i really wish i could take credit for that shrub..... i bought it last fall.... i haven't touched it... don't really even know if it needs pruning.... the only thing i do for all my azalea and rodies is put my used coffee grinds around the base every couple of months and i use the osmocote slow release fertilizer in early spring
I'm still waiting to see a single. Al, have you posted any??
The Chippendale is for the ladies, I assume??
No I meant Dahlias Al. Thanks.
Tamb - I like the ornamental oregano. We have a different kind for the butterfly's - they really like it.
Victor - Pink Diamond is nice, I see it around some. Magilla Perilla looks sharp.
Congrats on the bloom.com pics.
My favorite dahlia pic last year was by Granny

I voted for it. I also got a tuber of it from her to try and outdo her photo - 'if you can't beat them, them beat them harder' or something like that , I forgot how it goes.
That is a dahlia $&@^
