Dave,
Wow, that means alot to me that you would ask about Kazz. No, he hasn't returned and unfortunately I don't think he's going to :(
I sure hope you enjoy your visit to Maine :) You're coming to Maine and we're going to Massachusetts to go to Six Flags *lol* Not this week but next week hubby is on vacation :)
What's blooming today? #9
Dave..I cheat. I open 2 pages at the same time and do it that way.
Thanks Kim....the statue behind it a lamppost.
Sorry to hear that Kim. Was hoping for a miracle. I panic when Crash runs out the door. He's an inside only cat.
Ooh - sneaky Celeste! Never thought of that.
Next week for us too. So you will practically be in CT and I'll be in ME. I think that provides balance.
Dave, why don't you and Kim just meet halfway? Seems reasonable.
All of your photos are great but Mojave is glorious and the name I couldn't think of since the label is missing. The squirrels must have a grand collection of them.
I do have Mojave and that's why I wanted the name.
PollyK is excellent (super excellent) at identifying lilies so when she arrives I bet she can tell you the name of your beautiful pink one.
Celeste, I can only envision what your gardens must look like. A lamp post? That is SO SO pretty!!
Dave, I hope you have a WONDERFUL time in Maine :) There is the Bull and Claw in Wells too for "family" type atmosphere :)
Victor, my daughter is now talking ChinChilla? OMG Still, every now and then I think I see something move while I'm outside and it's never Kazz. Unfortunately because he was all white, he didn't camoflauge well at all..... :(
I do the same thing as you when I post pictures, I open up 4 or 5 browsers and then use them in consecutive order *lol*. I don't resize my pictures so it takes FOREVER sometimes.
Beginning to feel a bit like fall now and then here. The daylilies are blooming but much more sporadic now and less blooms that previous weeks. So sad.
Are you all winter sowing this year? I am going to do a few pots but had really good luck direct sowing this spring so I may do 1/2 and 1/2.
I haven't posted in a while, but I've just caught up with all the posts. LOVELY photos everyone! I especially love Victor's photo of the leaves outlined with raindrops! Pixie, your lilies are so gorgeous, and I never stop being amazed that you have more and more to post everyday!
It's so rewarding to see my gardening paying off by attracting birds and butterflies that I haven't seen in my yard before.
Celeste has such lovely blooms! It must be heaven around her home.
Wow, I'm not a Zinnia person but that one is stunning! Very nice :)
That is a stunning Zinnia.
Neither am I but I do agree - wow! Great multi-tone.
I never wintersowed. What's the advantage over starting seeds indoors or direct sowing outside in Spring?
I've read the cons on it Victor - in some cases all the seeds come up and then it's a problem for planting since they're so tiny. Many people feel they have to plant the entire package.
That zinna IS beautiful and I love the shot of the butterfly on the butterfly weed.
