Best/Worse/What did I learn today? Part 12

B you are hard to keep up with, I feel exhausted for you. That Decorating frustration is part of the challenge and fun.

Trop I heard it is your birthday and want to wish you a great one.

Best thing was Greg and I went out to a see The Bourne Ultimatum which I loved. We had seen the other two. It was filmed real chaotic and I didn`t like that but it was very good. Worst thing was my friend told me that she thinks I lost a little weight but thinks since i shrunk my chest that it just seems like I lost more than she thinks I have. I never lose weight, I have a real slow metabolism, so for me I feel like it is a big difference not just because i got the surgury on my girls but i really tried to change my eating. She was trying to compliment my girls but I felt bad that she doesn`t really notice my weight loss so much. Oh well. It is a dumb worst thing anyway as bad things go.

Well, Miss Betty, you just created one more challenge for yourself...or two or three.....but you will have fun finding the proper places for everything. what a vacation???? creating more work for yourslef.

am having a bit of trouble recouping from my weekend with a 3 year old.....seems my back didn 't enjoy it as much as i did. again i took a 3 hour nap this afternoon.....I hate it when old age creeps in surprising me like that. could have been the somersault I taught him to do in the grass, ya think? Or maybe when I ran to keep up with him in his loader, which he has now learned to steer, so he can go anywhere much faster than i can get there......anyway, it was all fun, and I will survive to do it all again, I hope.

Not much going on here, did get the toys picked up and put away, linens changed and laundered, then zzonked out for the remainder of the day. It was 100 degrees , tons of humidity, so was not a day to be outside. should have been working on mine and bluekat's latest project, but haven't touched it since last thursday. she's gonna fire me for sure.

No best, no worst....just a dull day, but I think tomorrow will be better for sure.

Wouldn't you know, no signs of rain for an eternity, today is B.B.Q. day and it's so heavy outside, can feel the rain and storm..won't miss this one for sure...oh well, we've eaten inside before, right...great friends/great food so weather will not dappen our day (or will it) lol...

Had coffee on my pretty deck..everything is soooo peaceful out there..

Well hello Betty..quite the day you had..did it rain at all?
We had a nice gentle steady rain that lasted for several hours. Everything has perked up.

Would love to see your newly decorated deck..red dishes will look so festive if you use them outside. So already you have Christmas in mind..you do think ahead. Too bad you will have to make another trip to return the rod iron piece.

A raccoon came last night and ate the baby robins that were in a nest in basket on a shelf unit on my deck..so sad.
It is very quiet out there this morning..

Sharran..somersaults?? were you just helping or actually demonstrating? Hope your back feels better soon.

Everything under control and 1/2 hr. to spare...

Liz, you just roll it up, doesn't crack..that is what is nice about the 'Flecto' product..maybe a little more expensive than regualar but more suitable to my needs...

Guess tomorrow or Friday I'll be back in Meaford..returning the light set..gee I wish it would have done what I wanted it to do..oh well..will purchase something more in keeping with 'country'..now I need red or black table cloth for the outdoor set, and in the hidden garden I have a wooden set and 4 chairs, so just might bring it out, repair the 1 leaf and paint it up to match deck decor..Michelle said I should make 3 or 4 benches graduating in size, done in black, then red, then yellow and white..so another fun project..who knows, maybe this weekend...

Well, back to have a coffee...post part of what the deck that I've started decorating...suggestions please...

Bought a few of these for my gardening friends 'Christmas Boxes'....

Today, I work on 'Georgian Bay' scene Christmas balls..do you get the feeling it's just around the corner..probably not with this weather..but it's coming...lol

That hummingbird feeder is quite unique.

You have so many projects whirling around in your head.

I must start this day with a Big Happy Smile on my face!! Yesterdays Best-

Finally my new Baby Niece has been born! Josephine Jewels joined the world at 7:11A.M.
all 8 lbs+ and 19" tall. She, of course, is beautiful! Has a full head of black hair.
Mom doing very well too!

Am so excited I will have to make plans to go meet her asap! While, I wait I am sending a throw away camera for them to take photos and send back and I will have them developes so I can share.

Well got to go skip around and spread my news-

thanx helln, have my exam today and so under pressure to pass. its so hard you have no idea, you have to memorise hundreds of things in only a few days. i failed the test yesterday and the big one is today, i need a miracle... i need to pass just to showthem you know?

betty that looks awesome, kinda french provincial. black wrought iron table and chairs would be lovely too seeing as you have the hutch there, the hummingbird feeder is awesome!!!!!! love it!
If you dont want it so bold then you could re paint the hutch and things in like an antique white (bekive it or nit, the colour i use is called antique white USA) and then rub gold on..... or use a crackle medium to age it??? that way you could find an old setting for outsie and work your magic!

the birdhouse is cute as..... the butterfly so vibrant.... like the ones we have over here on the tropical islands of queensland.

My best thing was seeing my friend today and her cute french bulldog puppy who goes spastic when he sees me.

Worst thing is I have had a headache for two days and it comes from my neck so it makes me dizzy and nauseous. I am also greatful that yall have our heat for the last few days we have been in the eighties and nineties temp wise. Praise God, all I need is prayers for rain here. PLease.
