Very beautiful.

I haven't ventured out today in this heat but yesterday a Louisiana iris, Megan Victoria, was in bloom........probably still is.

I'm devastated! I thought I sensed her essence in one of the photos.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Essence? Oh my, it's more serious than I ever imagined.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

pirl, only in HIS head is it that serious. The rest of us just call it "nuts".

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Poor Victor . . . . it's all right Victor, CZJ really does care.

Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

So pretty, Everyone. I especially like the delicate pink ones. My Endless Summer hydrangeas are blooming now.

Nice Pirl!

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Oh pirl! I love them!

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Thanks! Any day now they'll all be in bloom at once. They're running a few days late this year.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Pirls, those are simply lovely!!
Al, I really like Green Envy! Is that a soft pink on the petals too?
Andy, for a "regular daylily" that one sure is an eye opener!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Loretta, I love Endless Summer, it's one of my favorites.

Delphinium has started....not sure why this one is opening so soon, the rest aren't ready yet. I think it's one of the new ones I got this year.

Pixie - you have Tokajer? I have been wanting to see that one. I wonder if the color changes as it ages - sort of looks like Burgundy right now.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Nope my burgandy one is darker. (wink) It's not in bloom yet, got buds though! We will have to compare once it starts and i'll try to get a better picture of Tokajer.

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

Pixie, I say 'regular' because they came in a pack of 'mixed' diploid seed. My first try at Daylilies from seed. That plant is over 10 years old, hiding the gas meter, lol.
Here is it's neighbor. You can see the first one in the background, top left.

Pixie - I also want to see Summer Kiss if you need a reason to buy it. Please post Tokajer a bit later too.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

One of each again, Al? Smart to let others try it first though!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Hey Green Envy came from Garden Crossings.

I actually saw Summer Kiss around last year, now it's gone this year.

I've got 2 of these Art's Pride echinacea - they're OK - I'll trade one for some magic beans.

2!! What's gotten into you Al?

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Great photos, everyone. Al, that last photo is wonderful with such similar colors in several shapes.

Upper Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5a)

Nice pics everyone!! My Niobe clematis that I planted last year has bloomed. It almost didn't make it last year - could have been the woodchucks - but it is doing fairly well this year. The blossoms are small and a little rough looking but it is in bloom!! Eleanor

Congrats Eleanor. That velvety color is amazing. It's one of my favorites.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Nice Eleanor - I like dark red.

Victor I got one free is how that happened.
Pirl - maybe I'll take a good photo of that for you.LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Al was the other one in that photo Oranges and Lemons Gaillardia??

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

It blurry.LOL Yes it is - I left that one there and put the other Art's Pride in the coneflower bed. I lost Mango Meadowbright - that one was a bit nicer.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

I have a nonblurry photo. I always laugh when I take these 'guy' photos.

Look at how both top petals do that curl thing.

I broke down and got one myself from GC. It arrived today. My first Gaillardia.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Al - beautiful Mona Lisa times two. Maybe it's ML's version of a comb over?

Victor - congratulations. We always remember the first one so fondly.

Fort Edward, NY(Zone 5a)
