I am getting very excited about the lilies in my little garden. There are alot of buds and everything is growing nice.
I thought I would show the only flower I have right now.
It just a Stella but it great to see it.
What's blooming today # 2
There is so much I want to comment on, I'm bound to miss something, lol.
Victor, still more interesting info on the Clematis.
Al, that's a heck of a nice group of pics, I love them all. Pixie's flower really caught my eye. I have a very similar Day Lily, too.
Now what is causing a difficulty with the Malva? Is it that the flowers are on the central stem behind all the foliage? lol Don't fret, you will have plenty of opportunities to shoot them.
I even had them in December!!!

Nice DW - the first one is a dianthus then?
Andy - I don't know, I zoom in and it looks in focus and then I develop it(LOL) and it's blurry. Your pic looks refreshing. I was happy with the Pixie pic - sometimes they turn out better than you think too.
Very nice photos of the garden tour.
Andy - fabulous Malva photo!
Oh yes, I can see why! What little cuties!!
Great photos Chuck. Thanks and congrats on Stella. I have a tradition of yelling STELLA!! in my best Brando voice when I see my first one of the season.
Nice shot Andy. Guess I'm gonna have to get that one too!!
simply amazing how some people manage such beauty! I've been dying to visit some of the local 'Gold Coast' Gardens. Mansions of the rich that were donated and now the house is a museum with manicured gardens...

Love Planting Fields! My wife and I were members when we were living in Astoria. We'd go many times throughout the year. Kykuit - Rockefeller's mansion in Westchester is worth a trip as well.
I joined the NY Botanical one year. I love that place. I'd go to the orchid show every year. This was the first year in a long while that I haven't gone.
I will be in Queens this weekend. I will see if I can get my hubby to stop in at the NY botanic while we are there. We were there last at Thanksgiving a couple of years ago, which meant a great tour of the conservatory with the model trains, but I want to see some plants outside!
Martha
So cute - is it teething?
Keep it away from the furnature.....
LOL - Dave, can you save me some seed from the sundrop? I've always like them.
Love the NYBG. Been a member for years now. Wish I would get there more often. I'll take my kids at least once over the Summer.
So many great plants and pictures!
Victor, using clear netting is clever. I love the color of that clematis.
The Brooklyn (NY) Botanic Garden is smaller, but really nice to visit in the spring. They have wonderful magnolias, lots of cherry trees, lilacs, and wisteria, and an extraordinary bonsai collection. And tons of bluebells.
Beautiful - never been there. Yet.
Andy, as I look at Al's more.... i realize his looks more like "Lady Neva" than "Bonanza"....but im not sure, it's really hard to tell. Yours I think looks more like "Black Eyed Susan" but im no expert, I just like to grow them!
Edited to say" "Where's Pirl???"

I started a new thread as this one is getting long for our dial-up pals.
Hope to see you and your blooms there!!
