I've been trying to think of something that would travel well.
I'd be happy to bake a ham and bring along my cordless electric knife. That way it could be cut for ham steaks or ham sandwiches.
Looks like we need some breads.
Sounds good UniQueTreasures!
Add cookies of some sort from me.
Ohhh yummy! How 'bout some bollilos for sandwiches ? I can bring those. Anybody growing any tomatoes that might be ready?
I'm in UniQues party of 2 so don't add me digigirl or it'll make it look like theres one extra.
RJ ? I'd love some exotic EE's but I probably don't have anything you haven't already got for a trade. Maybe some donkeys ears? :)
Well, at least if we get hungry along the way, we can stop and have a sandwich! HAHAHAHA
I'd love some exotic EE's also. Surely between us, we have something Randy doesn't have! HAHAHA
my black ee's (taros) are having babies now, smockette got a couple i think...what are mickey mouse ee's?? sounsd like fun
I have some yellow datura seeds in the ground and some pink brug seeds coming. Would anyone like either? I have the name for the brugs and will send name when I get the seeds.
Anne
Yes, please.
:~)
Do ya think I could get the black taros to smother out my invasive ee's? No matter how hard I dig, I can never completely get them up and the bed is completely full again within a month. If the black one's might possibly overtake the other ones, I would definitely be interested.
Aunt Anne, I'd love some yellow datura seeds.
edited for seplling...hahaha

I have purple double bloom devils trumpet's seeds. Several varieties of shrimp too. Orange with fuzzy grayish leaves, shrimp cocktail and the red. Ornamental millet seeds fixin to happen too.
I'd love some of the double blooming datura. I only have the single. May I have orange, too? Look at my list!
Maid, what color is your Shrimp Cocktail? Ever hear of Lemon Sorbet? Or is that your Shrimp Cocktail?
I'd like some of your dbl Purple, please.
I potted up 4 of the yellow and will pot up the pink as soon as they arrive
TY
I've tried to make sure I mark the requests as they have come in but if I've missed something, for anyone, please speak up. This is the week for me to get the potting finished. If ya'll get a chance, look it over and if I've left something out, just let me know. Unique and MITS - let me know if there's anything you would like.
The cuttings I did last night look great today. I had the sense to move them to the front porch before the rains hit this time. If I get 90% take, I'll be very happy.
It was called fruit cocktail. The orange I had never seen but I found out recently there's a blue one too!
Maid, I'd like a start of the Shrimp Cocktail, please. That is really neat!
At the Farm, we grow the standard/orange, the white, the red, & the Lemon Sorbet. Your SC looks like the LS but the little tongues on the LS are pure white.
Kewl! A new color Shrimp. Everytime they come out with a new color Shrimp, I am just blown away. I just love the unusual blooms on Shrimp plants!
Which one is called Fruit Cocktail?
I'd love to see the blue one.
The first picture is the fruit cocktail.
The blue is in plant files http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/216/index.html
There's also a white!
Boy you guys siure have been busy!
I've been very busy at work this week. Thanks Kristi, but I'm covered on the tables.
CJ!!! come down! over!...up? I did originally mak the guys as amozonica too, however the broader leaves were throwing me off. Iove the black princess taro
I'll have an ee for you , and don't worry about having anything. If I plan this correctly there will be more of my plants exiting than entering the garden.
I bought some of the fruit cocktail shrimp also. Here is a closer shot of the bloom.
I'll start some coleus and jade and hooker's orchid cactus, along with anything else I can think of to bring along with me.
I haven't had enough coffee in me yet to make any requests yet this morning. I'll look at the lists and let y'all know. You guys are so organized! HAHAHAHA
Janet
Ya think? Here's how I get my smaller plants. I look around the flower beds, papapays, those stripped ee's, chocolate plants. So I'm running out and digging stuff up. You wouldn't believe what the nursery area looks like ( the back driveway)- Big, bushy ...so everyone bring trucks!
Rj
G'Morning Folks and fellow Texans :-)
I have a big variety of coleus (my newest addiction, thank you very much) that I will be happy to make cuttings of. A sample of them is posted in this photo. I asked for ID's on the coleus forum and got a few more answers, but there was only so much room on the collage I was making.
I have a lot of plants shown in my journal/diary (never can remember which I have). Not necessarily the full names, but there are photos of each section of my yard. You all are welcome to tour the yard and I"ll be happy to make cuttings for any one that would like them. I will bring a variety anyway, hoping they will go to good homes, but if there is anything specific you'd like, just let me know.
I'm going through the lists you all have provided, above this post. It sounds like I'm rather greedy here, I know. Had I seen this earlier and made the requests all along, it wouldn't sound quite so bad. Keeping that in mind....

Honestly, I'll be happy just to come meet you folks. :-)
OK I 'd best be sending this before the cybergobblin gets ahold of it.
Janet
Janet, I only have 3 kinds of coleus but I don't think any of them are any of your 12. Want to swap some?
Unique - I'm sorry, but I took myself off the list some time back. I guess I should go find my plants post and edit it - as in delete. Sorry.
Smockette, I'll be happy to trade! I haven't found any of them I didn't just love so far, and I'm always looking for those I don't have. I'll start plenty of them all so just take what you want when I get there.
CJ that's OK. I'll forgive you (this time muahahahaha) Seriously, not to worry. I just went through the entire thread looking for plants and must have missed where you said you weren't coming. I am really easy about all of this.
While looking through everyone's lists, I saw things that I didn't have and considering I am doing some landscaping in my front yard, thought I'd try and save some money. Afterall, if someone waved free "homeless" plants in you face wouldn't you all jump on 'em, like white on rice, to give them a good home? HAHAHAHA
Janet
Janet, headed to Big D @ noon to help City_Sylvia put in an irrigation system to save her hostas while she's in the hosp, again.
BF keeps borrowing my camera so I called him for it & he is going to get some pix of my coleus, meet me on I-45, give me the camera, & I'll take it up to Sylvia & have her help me get pix out here for you later tonite or manana.
Oh Smockette, sounds like a whole lotta trouble when it's not necessary. I'll be tickled with whatever you bring.
Janet - I've got you down.
I have to tell you all that I don't seem to be having luck with the esperanzas. I've tried three times and they just don't seem to want to take root. I'm dipping in hormone but something is not going right. Anyone else ever try with success? Last year, I had them popping up here and there from seed but I've already given all of those away and don't see any new babies, yet. So, if you requested one and it's not there, it's not for lack of trying. I'll keep my eye out for babies.
Thanks for trying.
I have a yellow one that I bought this year. I just love it! The first time I saw one of them was in San Antonio a couple of years ago. I just fell in love with those pretty yellow bells.
I haven't tried to take any cuttings yet, so I'd be anxious to hear any success stories also, before I make the attempt. I need to get some root hormone so I can take cuttings of more of my plants. For some reason, I never think to get it when I'm at the nurseries. I can't understand it. The plants themselves just capture most of my attention. :-)
Janet
They really are such a hardy plant. It's no wonder they're a Tx. Superstar. I planted three of them about 5 years ago along my fence line. By July, they have surpassed my fence and bloom non-stop. I played around with one last year and pruned it into a tree form. It came out lovely! It's desiduous and to immitate that growth pattern has been hard for me to replicate. I've decided to just let them grow in their natural form and prune where and when necessary. Hopefully, I might see the little sprouts poking up soon. I did a lot of bed maintenance this year so, my hopes might be futile.
Unique....are your garden sculptures for sale? Will you be bringing any? I'd be interested in any frog, dragonfly or butterfly sculpture you might have (if you do sculptures like that). Perhaps I should dmail you?
I will have to try and get some cuttings of mine. I have excellent luck with coleus and other things. I've got some Cat's Whiskers (don't ask the true name because I'd have to lie). I don't have photos of the whiskers themselves because I caught a bird pulling the last of them off to fill his nest with. Needless to say, I moved the plant after a gentle scolding.
As for the sculptures, Connie (maidentheshade) and I have been custom making them upon request. Connie has her own business tinting windows and I keep my grandbaby several days a week. We have to work around each other's schedules.
Connie and I feel that Dave's isn't really the place to conduct business, so if you (or anyone else) are interested, you can Dmail us and we'll be happy to get together on specifics. I'll bring some contact cards and photos of what we've done so far to the meet there and anyone interested can talk with us then. We have posted several of our sculptures in the Artisans Forum. Just look for my name as the topic starter.
We've been "toying around" with some wasp catchers lately. If anyone would be interested in something like that, let us know via Dmail and we'll try to have them with us. Connie sent one to Randy. Perhaps he will be kind enough to share a photo since Connie didn't take one before it left here. I normally take the photos of our stuff and it didn't occur to me either. HAHAHA
Janet
Gotcha down Janet, we can probably load ya down with even more too.
I would love to see some Unique Treasures too, but I do suspect you are trying to keep up with demand!?
Connie, shipped the sparklies today! and have another present for when you get here in July. I'll give you a hint. It's a Hibiscus with the initials T.S.
