Flowerette!
Great minds DO think alike!
You better believe it, Gymgirl!!!!!!!!!
Oh, WOW! Great pictures, guys!!!!! OK, who's ready to do it again tomorrow? LOL.
Gymgirl, I made the brownies with the caramel. I posted the recipe above. They're called "Edie's Sweeties" for the same reason that your greens are called "Lily Mae's".. My grandmother was Edith. :-)
Marylyn: Oh, No: I missed sampling your brownies, but now thanks for the recipe!
What? Did I hear a call for another "party"? Oh Boy!!
I think we should do a late-year party. Fall/winter garden will be in full production, and there is a bunch of "different foods" for that season.
Pumkin bread, my "fruitcake for people that hate fruitcake", Hot drinks, etc.
Oh, yes, another party............maybe I could make a point to take more pics. :) I'm sure Randy is thinking: yikes, more cleanup!
Bubba & Linda: Where is your restaurant located? Sigh...............My dh says we have no kitchen in our house, and I'm always on the lookout for a new place to eat!
Gymgirl: Thank you, thank you, thank you for having the strength to bring all the coffee grounds. I will save your white container for you. Hopefully, will see you another time soon. You are a b-l-a-s-t! Check this out: http://www.mastercomposter.com/survey/coffee.html
Ya'll are NOT paying attention....
Now -- what Bubba said was, "I think we should do a late-year party. Fall/winter garden will be in full production, and there is a bunch of "different foods" for that season. I will bring my
FAMOUS (this is BUBBA, ya'll) Pumpkin bread, my "fruitcake for people that hate fruitcake", Hot drinks, etc."
Did ya'll get that?
Flowerette,
No need to return the 5-gallon bucket! That was part of the swap. Thanks for the link to the coffee grinds info. The Q&A was funny.
Thank you for asking, sorry I did not give you a card, flowerette.
5230 Westpark - between Loop 610 and Rice - about a 1/2 mile south of the Galleria. Sage & Rice converge just north of the US59 underpass.
This was how it looked in 1998. A bit more open than now. The cell tower and the shaded parking (thanks to the Westpark Tollway) have hemmed us in a bit, but we are the same old 20x40 foot "Shack", but with better food than back then.
the purple trumpety thing is called an Iochroma, it's a type of brug. And gee thanks the only pic of me is of course my backside. lol You must have been using a wide lens.
gymgirl,
I know I have published the recipe for that fruitcake and probably the punkin' bread on some thread, but wanted to get everyone thinking cold-weather. Probably low humitity - wouldn't that be wonderful?
"Golly, with this group - we could open a restaurant!" LOL.
I forgot to mention - one of our regular customers has shaped our hedges into bison topiary.
