Poor Marie. Go ahead, you can order some in my name, too, if that makes you feel better. :-)
Potluck at Weegy's July 14, 2007!
Oh Marie, there's still time to save yourself. You need to be here!
I consoled myself with 4 more clematis. Still not happy though!! Guess I need some more.
It's not too late to plan a trip to Cally!
welcome to our worldArlene. lol
Marie breath and plant, we miss again. It`s only 5 hours from you.
???????
The Walls O Water protect from wind and create a greenhouse effect; the plants are a foot higher and healthier looking than those that were just put out in the elements. WOW's are great for here.
Do you have website to order them or can they bought in Lowes or a nursury?
Never seen them at Loews or Home Depot but local Garden Centers carry them ~ bought mine online. Just Google Wall O Water and you'll find several places that carry them.
thanks
hhhmmm would like to meet some other enthusiasts around the area. BUT i'm in iowa right now on vacation with my boy. we are supposed to be back by the 13th so we will see. should know by the 10th or 11th..
What time does it start Louise? sorry if you said already.
It starts at noon but that's just a starting time! Get here anytime you can. I plan on having a bonfire later so I hope some can stick around for that.
Shokwave, I grew up in Chino, would love for you to join us. Please try to make it all.
Almost a week away guys, I'm looking forward to seeing you all.
Kachina, are you going to be able to make it? Haven't heard much from you. Bring your pliers.
If I can get to this vineyard in Leona Valley I will try to get this dessert wine that my dd and I tried at a wine tasting booth at our home and garden fair and it was soooo good.
Still not fair!!
Marie Marie. You will be missed my friend. What happened to you two girls coming out here?
School has gotten in my way from having free time and Rodica had to cancel vacation.
I thought you were out till Aug. sister girl?
No I finish at the end of this month and then start again 8/25/07

Louise, I'm glad to see you already got me on the list. I think I am supposed to be riding up with Pam and Don. I will touch base with them this week to see if that still holds true. Don't worry I won't forget the Chills, oh and I think I'm on salad too...I hope everyone likes it out of a bag cause thats the best I can do right now. I can't wait to see you all.
Amy
A bag of lettuce is just fine Amy. Thanks for bringing the chill! See you next Saturday. Haven't heard from Don but hoping he'll still be able to make it.
Marie and Rodica, darn it, I was hoping you could make it.
If Marie and Rodica come...then they can just bring ME!
Jo
C'mon, Marie and Rodica! Jo needs a ride.
Just kidding....I am "House sitting" for a friend that week.
I do wish they could come though....they would have a great time. Jo
I understand but it is a bummer, now I won`t feel so bad about not having a chance to see her when I was in Phoenix and only talking on the phone. lol
Sorry I haven't posted; big news here is that in November we will move from this house (where Blooms has done all the wonderful work with my little help) (:-(
I will be there with Tabouli, but DH will be in San Diego getting smart (i.e. at a two-day class/workshop/seminar.)
Weegy, is your favorite flower iris or have I got you mixed up with Sherry again?
Donna, what is yours?
I will also bring seeds for Leonotis menthifolia (which flowers orange, of course), Nigella lovinamist (selected for blues), and magenta Lychnis coronaria... some are last year's seeds but they are free and considering how tough all three of these plants are, I am guessing the seeds will still be viable.
Please put me on list!
~'spin!~
Yes spin, my favorite flower is the iris, you didn't get me confused! Ok, got you down and I am looking so forward to having you all. 6 more days!

We are just moving around the corner, now, to a smaller (2BR) house we own, where we lived the first year after we married... moved because it was too small! Then we filled the 3BR house to bursting... So looking at downsizing/right-sizing. The lot/garden is also smaller with lousy exposure, but the longterm plan is only to live there 2-3 years by which time my DH be ready to retire and move to Blooms' town, Moab UT.
In my spare moments, I contemplate which of my plants I can take, what I'll have room for, and what will STAND transplanting... as well as what to replace things with that will increase the sale-ability of this house. I'm thinking roses-roses-roses for anywhere that gets enough sun, lavenders and scented geraniums for the Hell-Strip between our house and neighbors', and mounds of impatiens for the dead-north side of house. Sadly, we will have to leave all our fruit plants except the blueberries in their containers.
~'s!~
Ah, Spin! He will be but a babe retiring for the best years of your life! What a blessing!
And.... I am certain that a few of the DGers will help you disperse some of the plants you want to share and will help you with tthe ones that you need!
See you Saturday!
I wish to come but sorry as last year that date today I left Southern California, CA that time I was staying in Phoenix, AZ for 2 days so hotter (worst hotter at 110*) I and Rusty got real tired of heat... So, I left in AZ to get Missouri on July 14.
Have a good fun at your place... As Weegy12 said 'I'm not in neighbor any more' So, I will missing u all...
Anna
Travel safe in all this heat, Anna! We'll miss you!
